[Q] cyanogen mod camera force quite

i modded my htc evo with cyanogen mod 7. and i didnt like the camera. so i did some stuff, and it deleted the stock camera by accident. i re-installed it because i found the apk somewhere on my phone. (yes, i moved it to system/apps.) and now, everytime i click the app, it immediately force quits. any ideas?

Trying reflashing the cm7 zip right over your rom again and it should fix it. You don't have to wipe anything just flash and reboot.

Help! Broken Camera app

I installed Android Revolution HD 5.1.1 and it worked perfectly but I like the CM7 camera alot more so I got the APK and installed it. Then when I tried to open the app it force closes. I tried to install the ARHD5.1.1 camera APK but it doesn't work.
I installed another Camera app and it works but the video recorder does not work and I installed a camcorder shortcut but that FC aswell. Any advice? I can't be bothered to wipe it AGAIN .

To fix this you need a root file explorer. Navigate to system /app and delete HTCCamera.apk. from the rom you use extract the camera and paste it to system app

ICS Camera APK

Hello everybody,
after flashing a new rom on my phone and in the restore process with titanium backup i deleted the wrong camera.apk and i couldn't restore it...
Can i get somewhere the camera.apk for an ics rom(XXLPH) or does someone of you have the apk an could upload it for me?

When you flashed is it through cwm? If so just open the zip file and look for the camera.apk from /system/app (this will be done inside the zip file ofcourse)

you can try this camera.apk.
just put in /system/app replace old camera.apk .

[SOLVED] Certain apps not working on ANY rom

Hey everyone, I noticed that my Camera app and Gallery app doesn't work on any rom. I do a full wipe and it never works. I'm on AOKP and when I use camera it doesn't save the pictures, then I flash a new rom and it still happens. I have 13gb free on my Virtual SD Card. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Nevermind, my /data/media was messed up. I just flashed back to stock and presto!

[Q] Stock Gallary and Camer app not working.

Hi,
I did some stupid thing. my android version is 4.1.2 stock. I have tried to install 4.2 gallary app and camera apps. These apps are not installed successfully since they are intended for roorted phones. After restarting the phone the two apps are not working. I am getting the error message "App not installed." Any solutions please.??

Maybe a factory reset?
