i have seen extended batteries that were the same size as the stock battery. they didnt require an extended cover or case. are there any for the verizon galaxy nexus. i have an otterbox defender so as long as i can still use it. unless there is a better battery & case combo i should use instead. i would like a very long lasting battery like the 3800 ones but only with a good case too.
No 3800mah battery will fit in the same profile as the original.
ya i know the 3800mah ones wont be the same size, but are there any cases for a nexus that has a 3800mah battery. what is the highest mah i can get thats the same size.
The best batteries will always be OEM batteries since they are usually the highest quality. The 2100mah Samsung extended battery is virtually identical but with it's own (non curved) battery cover but is otherwise identical.
okay so i can get a 2100mah and still use my otterbox case. if i get a battery thats bigger are there any good cases for a nexus with an extended battery.
If you want a big battery and a nice case, look at seidio products. They make a 3800 mAh and a few cases for it. I think the convert would be the closest to an otterbox case.

Verizon has a 2100mAh. It can work with most cases except the slim fit cases.
Although Ringke Slim makes one for the Verizon Extended battery.

Does anyone know of a battery case for the Galaxy Nexus (GSM) with a kickstand that will accommodate the extended 2000 mAh battery? I've seen a couple of cases, but I prefer my Nex naked (or as close to it as I can get) but I'd love to get something with a kickstand for horizontal viewing.

The Verizon shell/holster case fits the battery, but you have to remove the battery door if you'd like a perfect fit.
Just bought an extended battery for Galaxy S3, and haven't been able to find a case that fits my phone.
Anyone know of any manufacturers that make such a case?

I'm looking for a flip cover style case. The only thing that looks close is this:

There's this one http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Galax...r=8-7&keywords=Galaxy+S3+extended+battery+tpu
And here's the one I have for my QCell 4200mah http://www.amazon.com/Hyperion-Extended-HoneyComb-Packaging-Compatible/dp/B008MMZUZS/ref=pd_cp_cps_0
Hey folks, i wanted to ask everyone their opinion about the battery and back case i should buy to cover the 4400 mAh sized battery i am looking at purchasing.
Im thinking about buying a battery between 4200-4400 mAh but i dont know what manufacturer i should choose... whether it only be Anker, Hyperion, or Ezo? Which is the best battery overall for those extended battery sizes? I have narrowed it down to those manufacturers from what i have read in these forums but i didn't read all 50+ pages of the battery threads.
I would love to find a combo deal where i can get the battery, back cover and case though. I have come across some combo deals on ebay from (U.S.) sellers but the TPU cases that are sold in package deals or sold as a single item show that the TPU cases all fit only up to a 4200 mAh battery?
So what kind of GS3 phone cases (TPU or whatever) have been found to fit 4400 mAh batteries or am i stuck with getting a 4200 mAh battery with TPU case or so to fit that size battery?
I am looking for a case that would fit very snug around the extended 4400 mAh battery because that is my preference. Price for both battery and case does not matter!
Thanks for everyone's input.
Hyperion 4200 battery with TPU case is what I'm using. I'm getting 28-30 hrs of use on a single charge. Works great for me. Not too bulky and good grip.

Anyone have this case http://www.tridentcase.com/shop-products/samsung-galaxy-nexus/aegis-case-samsung-galaxy-nexus.aspx and/or know if it will fit a 3800 mAh extended battery. I know the seidio cases work fine but I love trident cases and want to use an extended battery.
Thanks
I have this case and it fits my Sprint gnex with 2100mah extended battery well but I don't think it could fit anything much thicker than that.

The Seidio extended Convert Combo works quite well with the GNex and a3800 mah battery (I have the Hyperion).

I used that case on my evo 3d. It was nice, but the hard plastic outer shell was kind of slippery. I had to scuff it with some sand paper, to give it some grip. It was also a pain to put on. Since the n4 doesn't have a removable battery/storage, you won't need to take it on/off much, so it should be a good case.
Edit : I thought I was in the n4 forum when I posted this... I don't think I would get this case for any phone with a removable back plate

I am looking for an extended battery that has a case similar to the Otterbox Cases. I looked into Trident cases, but their extended life battery is weaker than my stock battery (Electro case is 2000mHa, my stock is 2100mHa)
Any suggestions?
I'm looking for 2300mAh or greater. It must have an otterbox-like case though.
Also I am not interested in hacking apart my current otterbox case to fit them.
