i think phone is fine.great in all aspects but its getting problen reading rss feeds in hindi font !!! hope lg will fix this problem in update

I have an LG G3 with official lollipop 5.0. A few days ago my son received as a present an LG G3s (beat). All god, it's quite a decent phone but the application are not updated at all. The quick remote application is way to old... version 4.20. On my LG G3 quickremote is version 4.40. So.. if i have the quickremote apk from the G3 and install on G3s it's gonna work?
