Today SamMobile released a System Dump for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4. It is now available on The Repo!
Full System Dump: http://rwilco12.com/downloads.php?dir=Files/Devices/Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500)/System Dump
System Wallpapers: http://www.rwilco12.com/downloads.php?dir=Files/Devices/Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500)/Wallpapers
System Ringtones: http://www.rwilco12.com/downloads.php?dir=Files/Devices/Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500)/Ringtones
S-Voice APK: http://www.rwilco12.com/downloads.php?dir=Files/Devices/Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500)/S-Voice
The Wallpapers and Ringtones are of course compatible with the N2. You just need to drag and drop them to the appropriate folder in system.
S-Voice has been tested and appears to work 100% on the N2.
The Full System Dump is NOT for flashing to the N2. It is a ZIP of the system folders and is being provided for devs/users to pull specific files and use them as they see fit.
Please do not try flashing the System Dump to your device! I can almost guarantee a brick.
Enjoy!

Good luck!

Hey guys,
I have been working on a Galaxy SIII port alot of time and in this thread I will show you the progress I make + photo's etc just to keep you updated.
How am i doing this?
-Use the latest stock Galaxy SIII rom
-Latest CM9 nightly build for libraries, vendors etc..
-Modified CM9 kernel with TouchWiz parts (bootclasspaths, mounts, etc), I compile a new kernel daily.
-Use my brains alot
I will post in this thread daily with answers and that kind of shizzle.
What's working so far?:
- Screen
- Touch
- Almost no FC's
- HW Acceleration
- Multi-language
- Galaxy S III accuweather widget
- Boot animation
- Shutdown animation
- SNote!!
I will keep you updated with more news and photo's soon =)

When choosing a Messaging background to go with my Garnet Red GALAXY S3 I found that there were none in a color to go along with my phone. Recently started doing some personal themeing and wanted to fix this issue for myself so, I share with you today: My modified SecMMS.apk.

Disclaimer! I'm not responsible for any damage you do to your device attempting this very simple (and common) procedure, REMEMBER TO ALWAYS BACKUP ANY CHANGED APPS, in this case ONE APK.
Directions:
1.Download SecMMS.apk from the link provided
2.BACKUP YOUR OLD SecMMS.APK LOCATED IN /SYSTEM/APP (You can do this by just adding a .bak after the .apk extension)
3.Copy downloaded SecMMS.apk to /system/app
4.Set permissions to rw-rw-rw-
(sometimes a reboot is necessary)
5.Go to settings in the Messaging application.
6.Change to your new background and enjoy.

Toggle mod from post #4
This is currently working on my I747 running the Nostalgia 7.4 rom. I have not tried it on any other phones or roms. I assume you'd have to be running a rom based from the UCALH1 leak. So, let me know if it's working for you guys and remember to always make a backup.
Note: This will probably never see an update unless I receive the same request from lots of people.

Well since this appears to be dead with no real fix, I'll give you my hacked solution.
Download the file from OP. Extract with any file explorer (root explorer, etc..) then navigate to: extracted/system/app and copy the SecSettings.apk and paste in the: system/app folder. Long press it, and change permissions to execute owner, group & others.
Navigate back to extracted/system and open the framework folder.
copy the android.policy.jar file, and paste it in system/framework folder. Again change permissions to execute owner, group & others. then immediately reboot.
Go to lock screen options and click Enable Aosp lockscreen. Voila.
I don't know if any of you saw it yesterday but SamMobile posted a new leaked build for the International Galaxy S3 (SPH I9300). Unfortunately the build they posted isn't technically compatible with our S3.
I was able to decompile the partition files and have uploaded the entire system folder to The Repo!
Although the build itself is not compatible many of the apk's and other files should be. I am posting them for our local developers to play with and let them work their magic for us.
What's New?
- Android 4.2.2 – Build ID: JDQ39
- New S4 Lockscreen: Multiple Widgets, two Unlock effects (Ripple and Light), improved ripple effect than Android 4.1.2, ability to change clock size and set a personal message
- New Screen modes (From S4): Adapt Display and Professional Photo
- Daydream
- Driving mode
- Actionable notifications
- New Additions in Notification Center
- Completely revamped Settings UI (Tabbed interface – Exactly like the S4)
- Addition of Voice controls (Let’s you control various parts of the phone using voice commands – Galaxy S4 feature)
- Gallery modes have white background (When changing gallery modes to 3D the background changes to white)
- Full screen Samsung apps
- New S-Voice (from S4)
- New smart switch widget

Something I noticed a while back is that all Galaxy series phones stay with the same framework and are then tailored to each model. A lot of files on one device are meant for another but are left in for simplicity sake.

It's a system dump of an S3 4.2.2 build that contains S4 features. It is being made available for our developers to hopefully port some of the features to our phone.

Hi guys,
Here is the My Magazine app ported from Note3.
Ideally, I think this app should blends in with Note3 TW launcher as a hidden screen but Note3 launcher doesn't work on 4.2.2. So we have to launch this app like normal app. It should run fine on any TW rom.
Download My Magazine: https://mega.co.nz/#!V0I20YjZ!31N6LRfftZ-XOgPjr7vsYP08dNdVsWpJvevq2OWzZ_k
Download flipboard : https://mega.co.nz/#!0lhGybAQ!SelwlnVHSNz-rFKqw12bov1apCNmYXRYTrXTE5P42gE
Download lounge app (for Here and Now tab) : https://mega.co.nz/#!AkgWGRQI!f0WIT8gvfzwSb8rGv2cK88f7zaxPpWKIDN7efMuWel4
1) Rooted phone required
2)Push both MagazineHome.apk, Flipboard.apk and lounge.apk to system/app and set permission rw-r--r--
3)Then reboot.
Bug: tapping the news doesn't bring you the full article of the news. [Fixed : It appears that My Magazine links work with Flipboard but need Flipboard to installed as system app. So we need to push in flipboard.apk to system/app]. Download flipboard at above link.
