I hate these threads because they are useless. Speed test is a snapshot in time and are far from accurate, like Quadrant scores.

I regularly get 21 down. LTE speeds should be at 35 or 70 depending on the city.

International will get it relatively soon so devs can add it on pretty quickly I'd imagine. It's not like we'll have to wait on T-Mobile USA lol!
Awesome! I'm sure we won't get any updates until at least october though

Not going to happen soon. The Note 3 is in the works. The Note2 will not get an update until after the Note 3 has been out for a bit.

Hmmm... Good point but they COULD add it on a 4.1.2 update. I don't expect 4.2.2 until N3 is released. That's my OPTIMISTIC guess but we'll see

Can i just flash the new LTE modem?

Im wondering if there is a flashable LTE modem that i can flash instead of switching roms and setting up my phone all over again? If so can you link me please

not sure if that's enough to make it work or not though?
Yea I'm on MyRom Revolution v6, and all I did was flash the modem on top of it. This morning noticed LTE was on in Tempe. It was only for an hour but I'll check again when I get home.
I'm running the Jedi Masters 10 rom and I just flashed the new modem and change the APN to "fast.t-mobile.com" and I do not see any LTE. But in the data speed test, i noticed it was definitely slower than before.
I am in downtown NYC which should be one of the cities that has LTE, but maybe it's not turned on yet.
Im near LIC queens NYC and I flashed the modem and changed the apn and I did noticed my downloads were slower. I will try again today when im in Manhattan.

Yes, I used the default apn and nothing really changed. Then changed the apn to fast.t-mobile.com and still got the same speed. I 'm guessing until they flip the LTE on, won't notice any changes.

I think the official MIUI has a CM base. At least it used to. Have not kept up as I lost interest on my Galaxy Nexus.
CARBON NIGHTLIES. | KROZ BROWN Theme | Crack Flasher
It does have a CM base. I thought there were two different sources for the framework though. Miui.net vs miui.us or something like that. I don't know much about it, I put it on an old Moto Droid that I got free for the kids to watch movies and you tube on. They could use it at age 4 & 5. Seemed pretty fast considering the limited hardware.

I checked miui.us and I don't think there is official miui for the international note 2 either

When will Note 2 Users have a leak 4.2.2 update available

So today after watching non impressive WWDC conference and seeing the new iOS7 layout my friend calls me up in a very excited manner saying that he can update to the leaked"unofficial" version of Android 4.2.2. You should know that he is sporting a GalaxySlll . Will we have this option anytime soon without having to Root?

I know you may have a ROM. But this isnt a ROM im talking about...its like a pre release of some sort. So strange
The issue isnt the leak for us, its that each phone has some custom interface with it. Google sends the base for the software to the phone manufacturers, who are slow as hell to put it out for specific older phones. Like whats theyre cut off point for which phone we wont make the update for.

makes sense. the Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition comes with 4.3. S4 owners have been downloading that ROM lately. I just got a S4 with 4.2.2 and the differences from 4.1.2 are not a big deal. They reorganized the settings menu from what I can tell. You can have widgets on the lock screen (just like custom ROMs), but only if you don't use a password or pattern lock. I use a pattern lock, so those widgets can't be used.

Over at Android Central, Samsung announced they are skipping the 4.2.2 update for our devices in the US anyways, waiting a little longer, and dropping us 4.3 instead. Only thing now is the official release date, but as far as us getting 4.3...it is official. I'm more excited then I was for 4.2.2., so. Note 2 is still a powerhouse, so it does deserve this.

I am sorry, but I am not a fan of pure forms of Android because Touchwiz makes me happier because of the unique software it provides. I also like the UI of it. I gave up my Nexus 4 for the Note II.
I am dropping my Nexus 4 for the Note 2.
