I want to know if is it possible to have '' Developer options '' such in the ICS and JB on a GB ROM ??

i guess its possible if u can modify the settings apk but will need a good dev or modder to do it for you

It's just an added extra menu from developer for advanced setting. CMIIW

it's kind of nice to have them in GB rom addition to the quality of camera , it s going to help saving battery using the background limit process

I'm not sure if it work to stock GB, have you try tapping "build number" several times?
Build number located in settings and "about phone"

1. Open menu
2. System setting
3. About phone
4. Scroll down until you find "Build number"
5. Tap about 7-10 times on "Build number" until you got message "Congratulation, you are now developer"
6. Press back
7. Now you'll see Developer option on your system setting.
But i'm not sure this will work on GB. I've just tried it on ICS.

I have no idea how this started but a red sqare apears around the screens edges when i press on something, doesnt always happend, but its very annoying anf xda is really pissing me off coz i cant upload any fuxking screenshots

go to system settings, developer options, show screen updates or dont keep activities or strict mode.. its one of those settings.

I have a Samsung SPH-L710 Stock ROM 4.1.2
I had previously flashed it to the earlier stock LJ7 ROM 4.1.1 just so I could get my msl (with getmymsl app)
Some where in the process of trying to get my msl with 4.1.2 this Hardware Info Screen came up, and now I get rid if it.
I have even Odin my orginal stock ROM with no luck
Any help would be appreciated

Looks like something is checked under settings - developer options. I would start there.

Nope !!!
I turned off "Developer Options" completely.
FYI I also tried checking off every box in "Developer Options" and rebooting after each one.

Yep, I tried wiping cache, system, data, dalvik, and then loaded stock ROM 4.1.2 BMD4
Another strange thing, it only shows on home screens. Not on settings screen, or on dialer, or contacts.
When coming from settings screen back to home it takes about two seconds to appear.
Strange I Know?
Tried this in terminal mode with no success (yes I have it rooted and SU installed)

I often get a popup with calendar on the left side and a place to write hand notes on the right. I know this seems like a stupid question, but I have no idea which application gives that pop up. I want to get this pop up on demand. Can anyone help me identify the app? Screenshot of the pop is attached for you reference.
P.S: i know its says Accuweather.com on the left but checked the app out completely and this is nowhere in the app.

To dismiss this app go to settings ------- Genera ------ Accessory --------- BookCover ----- untick " DayNote".

I've been using pretty much different ROMs but lately for more than a couple of months I'm on MIUI and i really like it . It makes your life much easier and good looking that any rom I've tried
But lately , the battery status are really disappointing , almost awake all the time even when I'm sleep ! I have no idea about the reason , used this app to see what causes wake lock but i guess it's still doesn't make sense
Here are my status , thanks in advance for any advice
p.s : data was off all the time , just turned it on in the last 30 mins of the status

I'll give it a try , even though I'm afraid it's like Deep sleep which i don't want ,
and for MIUI , they had it on miuiandroid.com but it's no more available , now the note 2 section moved to

I tried the ROM there and it says " Failed" in the recovery , give it a shot and feed me back
Edit : the Rom now woks and seems to be amazing , the problem was about my recovery , it was an old version of TWRP . And now some ROMs need the latest version

It is probably a setting from developer option, but they are all turned off.
I'm unable to factory reset after this text started appearing, neither does the TV have hard reset button.
Help would be appreciated.
It's sita P mode from service menu. You have to stand on contrast in advanced bright settings and type 9735 to get there.

- Select “Settings >Picture >Advanced setting >Brightness , Scroll down to “Contrast”
- Type number 9735
- Select “9-Sita P mode” and turn OFF
- Or Factory menu->Factory hotkey ...disable
