CWM will not be available, only TWRP
Bootloader Unlock for E975 is not final, so no way to install any recovery.
Maybe he's asking help from gays?)...since normal people can't help him now?

unlocked with FreeGee Pro and FreeGee Beta. i have a tutorial from Shelnutt2, but it can hard brick your phone.
it changed the sbl stack.

I want to do root also, but as far as i know, if you do root, you can't restore defaults anymore because the phone will get stuck and the only solution is to restore the software. That's the point, we (owners of sol) don't have the files for kdz to restore the software.
It's risky.

success!!! All settings reset! No worries
u should firstly flash optimus e975 firmware then flash baseband of f180k and lastly flash any custom rom..

Hello thanks for the feedback.. i successfully converted it to e975 Philippine Rom. But the cant connect in network but wifi and bluetooth is okau.. do u have a f180k modem?

You can edit your build.prop settings to mimic "E975" (hint: use app called "build.prop editor") by editing the lines quoted at the end and then use freegee.
Above method worked for me, but your mileage may vary!

I think the best recovery is TWRP. You can flash it via Freegee app.:good:

CWM touch is also the best. You can download it from http://download2.clockworkmod.com/recoveries/recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.4.5-e975.img
and flash it via adb.

Its nice looking, easy to use, it has Lock screen build in - that when u r not using it for a while it lock like launcher on android. CWM hasnt anything like this, I think its better than CWM. Not only because of look. Its free in freegee. CWM Touch isnt free, or you will download pirate version. TWRP is legal

yes. freegee installs 2.6.3 If I remember correctly. The latest version is 2.7.1 which is released for sprint version: http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/155
I'm not sure if we can use it too.

I would never install Sprint soft or recovery on NOT Sprint phone.

CWM Touch IS FREE, you can download the touch version on the official clockwordmod site. Only thing is that you have to flash it through ADB, if you pay for it there is the possibility to flash it through Rom Manager which is easier.

He's on vacation now. He'll be back when August finishes and you can start to wait for it as he said it is in his to do list.
CWM recovery is very simple to use.
I'm VERY new to all this rooting awsomeness (I rooted with towelroot today) and I don't know exactly what TWRP reffers to when asking the model of my phone. I downloaded it from the Play store and when I hit the install section there were names like geeb and geehrc4g etc... Which one is the E-975 and how can I find out? Sorry for the stupid question. :silly:

I use the CWM v6.0.4.5 and has never given me problems, always works perfectly, the last version of moddified recoverys in flasheable zips:
