[ROM][2.2.1][BVJPG] SGS 9000B [Download] available thru Kies in Argentina (ARO)

Isn't a new one but isn't post here so here i go:
Is for unbranded phones from Argentina (ARO) for SGS 9000B.
DO NOT TRY ON OTHER SGS, HAS DIFFERENT KERNEL
1.Unzip I9000BVJPG
2.Open ODIN. (And close Kies, if you have it open. It is important to have ODIN open BEFORE connection the phone via USB!)
3.Select the PDA file in Odin. Do Not use Repertition!!!
4.Turn the phone into the download mode by pressing and holding VolumeDown+Home+Power.
5.Connect your phone with your computer and wait until the drivers are installed.
6.When the drivers are installed, click Start.
7.The phone will be flashed and once it’s finished, it will boot up. (Do NOT disconnect the usb-cable, remove the battery or otherwise interrupt this process!)
8.You have successfully flashed your phone.

No bootloaders are included in this package, this is worth mentioning in the first post, you will be asked...trust me.

Is this unbranded, a stock firmware? If it is (and has PT) maybe we should talk to the owner of this thread:
Brazil Galaxy S, I9000B, Thread/FAQ/ReadMe/Discussion/Questions and suggest this as the recommended firmware!
There is a link to a Entel 2.2.1 firmware (on the mentioned thread), if this one is stock that would be awesome!

Is unbranded, the same for Entel, but different CSC. This is have a large CSC for Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Paraguay at least.

i am new to the forum and I also I have this rom. I work very well. I wanted to ask if you know that voodoo could be made as lagfix onclick does not work. there is one but not if it is for putting jjpd. You know something?

Only exist two versions of Speedmod with and without OC/UV made by Bilson and Lglossman respectively

[Q] 1 Bad Block Encountered- Now I Can't Flash Kernels

I've tried flashing Dooms Kernel but I encountered 1 bad block as seen in the picture below. I get 1 bad block whenever I flash any custom kernel. Now when I turn on my device I just get a black screen. I can then only get it back to normal by flashing a rom in flashtool to get back a stock kernel and then enter CWM recovery to do a restore.
Does anyone know a solution to fixing bad blocks?
Is there a tool or an app that can help me?
My r800i was locked to O2 but then I got it unlocked using the testpoint method.

Bump. I added a bit more info. Someone please tell me if its possible to solve the bad block issue as I really want to be able to overclock my phone but I can't do that.

Apparently there is nothing you can do except sending it for repair, some nand chip or something that needs to be replaced according to a post in this thread:

Yep, warranty repair would be ideal. However, unlocked bootloaders void your warranty..

I believe there's a way to relock the bootloader. But at the same time I read in that thread by someone that unlocking the phone for a second time might mess things up badly.

I traded my X10 for the Play so I don't have warranty. Is there a way I can get a new or repaired one if I bought some insurance? Sorry I don't really know how it works.

Don't know how it works in your country. But in Sweden we can take broken things like phones on our home insurance if you have a further addition to it that's called "blunderhead" insurance. Then if you drop and brake the phone or something you can take it on the insurance. But not just for some bad sectors
So you would have to be illegal to pull it off somehow I guess and manage to get the whole phone replaced. But as I said don't know how it works in your country.

It would be illegal to take insurance out after the device is damaged, then claim on the insurance. It's called insurance fraud

There are diffrent kinds of insurance, some will only cover accudental damage, but others will cover everything including defects.

I know it is. But as i read sth last time on another post also related to flasg stock rom. It said we have a risk of bricking for Asian roms. So has anyone tried to flashed it with odin? How is it? Btw. My baseband is also GT-I8150ZSLD1

OK so I decided to flash this on my F320s, and now I'm in fc city, the ROM boots but is unresponsive to any touch except to dismiss the system.ui fc. I can't get into recovery with the button combination, tried for about an hour. So I decided to use my stock F320s to file only to find out that my F320s is Now registered as a F320K in download mode. Do I need to flash a F320K kdz or tot?? Or is there a way to get my phone to register as a F320s.?

I suppose it was just an accidental leak. they received the lollipop version and started installing it before it should jave been released..

Its a dump of the /system partition, it doesn't include kernel.
