I know all Samsung wave users are disappointed with bada 2.0 which is incomplete OS and does't have the full functions of development apps as Android OS and IOS .. So, I have searched on google for any announcement for supporting All samsung wave series by porting Tizen OS to them , but there is no trusted sources for this thing

i buy samsung chat 527 10days ago. it has problem with os with it . java heap size max when installing jar is hacked through code *#52828378# then go ota test and change it 2000 kb . other problem is copy address. message.texts. to other browsers such as aed dloader and dmmod for downloading direct addresses. how to add mark all & copy & paste on it

samsung [email protected] 527 (s5270k) has 3g/video calling and wifi. will nokia's s40 support.

samsung s5270k has 3g with video calling and wifi on it but nokias s40 firmware wont support these features .
can any one try to port nokia c5 mobiles symbian os for samsung s5270k and samsung primo

First of all, Bada isn't an open source system, and for now it's impossible to port it to any other device.
Secondly, I doubt that anyone here has a full specification of your handset.
then is it possible to port to any other operating system which supports multi tasking and whats app???
If "wrong" OS on your handset.
Easiest and most working solution is to buy other handset.
Sorry, no joke.
Sell your handset and buy new one.
Or start self your porting project...
Minimum requirement...
- Firmwarefiles of your handset for research...
- Service Manuals and other Documents about Hard + Software...

Please bear with my stupid questions as i am completely new to bada OS.
I bought a wave 3 GT S 8600, which has the S8600DDKK4 SW & S8600ODDKK3CSC Ver.In this firmware version i do not have a inbuilt navigation software and also the Auto Silent mode is not available.
My question is can i install the other countries firmware on my device and what are the things that i need to keep in mind in order to do this.
can you please guide me or provide me the link where i can find the above information.
(i was an iphone user for 4 years and pretty familiar with Jailbreaking, installing customized firmware on iphone and some other stuff, but BADA is completely different, first of all i need to understand the terminology used in regards to bada )

I wonder if there's someone that want to port Tizen OS to our device
Tizen is the only real alternative OS for the Ace 2 because:
Ubuntu Touch: too small /system partition
Sailfish: hardest OS to port and gesture based ( it would make the hardware keys useless)
Firefox OS: it uses only the centre hardware key
Tizen uses Html5 apps and it's not Java based, so i think in would run better than Android
Also Tizen has already native clients for Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram and more....
I hope that someone will try to port this OS for this great device, thanks in advance!

I am always struggling, cause the posts are mostly for Samsung S5 and when reading there is no list included which type
of S5 it is working on. I think a better specification in the posts wpould help a lot.
