unfortunately their is no easy way... sometimes backups using backup tools can work but they are hit and miss in my experience (for example could never get a decent backup of twicca with all my settings )
best thing to do is take snapshots of all your screens and in conjunction with playstore take your time to restore! picking a good rom is key to not having to repeat this process - i highly recommend renovate rom with xminsters kernel.
happy flashing

I'm sorry for posting here. I was thinking that each smartphone has different method.
SMS Backup & Restore is great but it doesn't work properly; i think that's something wrong with Samsung rom. It works great with CM10.1 (that is my secondary rom)

Titanium, like other programs, fails to restore all my SMS.
How can i say? My first rom is empty (i mean there aren't SMS); my secondary rom (CM 10.1) has a lot of SMS. I need to backup and restore them from CM 10.1 to Samsung stock.
I have used also Carbon (now called Helium) but it's always the same.
If i delete all my SMS in CM 10.1 and than i restore them from a backup, they came back correctly so it's not a problem with my backuped database

[Q] 2 questions about CyanogenMod 10.2 (4.3)

Hello everyone,
Lately, I've flashed the CyanogenMod 10.2 and I'm quite happy with that one.
But, I wonder how to configure the multiple accounts fonctionnality, as it is supported by Android 4.3. If this is not yet implemented on CM 10.2, is it planned to be in the future ?
Then last question, is Titanium Backup totally forbidden, as some of my games have only local saves (so far, I had a 4.1 ROM), and I wonder if I cannot follow that procedure :
- install every apps from the Play store ;
- restore the data with Titanium Backup.
Thank you in advance for your answers.

Concerning TB u can use it of course if u don't restore any system data. I used it for several 4.3 roms and I had no problem at all.
Be sure to not restore incompatible apps that may return an unstable system.
About multi-users go to Settings > Users > Create one more account. (available on PAC rom)
You can use titanium backup to restore apps with data and it won't restore system data just make sure you do good with settings. As for multi-users go to Settings > Users > add an account

Thanks for answers about TB. About account, in CyanogenMod 10.2, no "Users" menu in the "Settings". Or, there might be a trick to make that menu appear from nowhere !

Might be.
PA was my first choice but don't deal with exFat SD card : I need to manage with files over 4 Gbs, that's why I did not choose this ROM.
One day, maybe, PA will include exFat... and will be mine !

Nope. I thought that was useless to try this as the ROM itself did not have exFAT support.
Merci monsieur !
OK. Well, I've tried with Devil Kernel, but what fixed the issue was... formatting the external card on recovery mode. Finally tasted PA rom, but left it after all of my internal data cleared away. Went back on CM 10.2.
Also, anyone knows about a good add-remover app ? I had adfree that worked like a charm on a previous rom, but I wonder if there is a better app.

For your camera app: Xposed module
Thanks Primokorn.
Now, I have an other issue. I changed the carrier yesterday (from Bouygues Télécom to SFR) and I am blocked by the simlock of the phone, that I bought (for the first time) from my carrier some months ago. Is there a hidden menu in CM10.2 that will allow me to unlock my device? Thanks again.

Is my question not clear enough, or is there no answer to that ?
Thanx.

I use nova launcher, I wanted to remove the pre installed version of you because of the language (I can not find the option to change it), but in the end I decided to keep this also because I have seen that it is the premium version

There is a guide here. You can also find the similar tools on xda (sda2img and ext2explorer), but this guy made the python script to run directly as a .exe. It worked just fine for me.

BUGs so far.
1.
Whenever i tap my carriers icon in the drop down notification panel the DATA CONNECTION is always On.And if you toggle it back off anf check again its On again.
2.
Cannot toggle 2g only. It always switches back to LTE.
I dont really use DATA conn because service here is just horrible. So having it to 3g/LTE will just contribute to more battery drain.
But over all rom is working fine and no random reboots and no youtube lag so far.

Question 3th Party SMS backup

Dear friends. I have a question. I'd be very happy with any answers.
I have been using Eu rom for years on my Poco f3 device, but now I want to change.
My question is: If I try to restore the SMS and Contacts backup that I will get from the Eu rom with the 3rd party software to the AOSP rom with the same program,
will it work?
I know Google already backs up my contacts backup, but I don't want to lose my SMS that I've accumulated over the years.
Thanks a lot
Use "SMS Backup & Restore" app by SyncTech from playstore, backup using google drive. Both sms and call log can be backed up and restored in MIUI to ASOP or vice versa. Also, you can try microsoft's sms organizer app. Using these methods for more than 4 years now.

From F-droid you could try "SMS Import / Export". It is ads free, light and very simple to use.
