I have the MIUI Music Player and Poweramp and find myself bouncing between the two. The MIUI player can be found on darkierawr's Nebula theme. Its also baked into Urban Fury ROM.

I don't suppose you'd happen to know of a version of that MIUI Music Player that exists without having to flash a ROM?
There probably isn't one, but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.

I made a blacked out version some time ago. Look at threads started by me and you'll find it. Its also included in my theme if you wanted to try that

WinAMP for Android isn't too bad. That may be worth trying.

I recommend MortPlayer. Designed for people who keep their music organized in folders. They have a fantastic audiobook version too.
Hi,
this is actually my first "real" post and release, so be kind
Anyway... since I've decided to use (and update) the experimental CM9 builds as they come out I got fed up of changing the player by hand every time.
This flashable zip will replace Music.apk with the stock one from Ice Cream Sandwich.
Hope this helps some people!
Thank u for the music player. but it keeps telling me it cant play the music.. (cant it be that its on the ext sd card?)
Pretty job !
Thanx !

Shouldn't be the case, I've got all my music on the external sd card and it shows up fine. Running Build 01032012-2 here.
I'm running the same version.. Perhaps.. DoI need to remove the stock music app? I just copied it using root explorer and reboot

It depends whether what format u want to run.
The best one is mx player with arm v6 codec which runs all video files but is not very smooth with all videos.
Other alternatives are qqplayer.. Quickpic etc

Many Thanks sir
But every time i install MX Player , it requests to install v6 codecs and the problem starts here !
i downloaded the arm v6 codecs 1.7.13 and my wily don't like it , Actually don't let it to be installed.
What can i do for solving this problem ?

Imo it should first download and install itself

Rest, mx player will do.

First of all i'm very impressed by your responsiveness !
This forum is a piece of gem !
And then , i live in iran and in my country it is impossible to download something from playstore.
therefore , i downloaded Arm v6 codecs from SOFTPEDIA , but as i said before my phone doesn't accept it.
BTW , my current rom is aokp light v5 and i'm very happy with it.
Am i wrong somewhere ?

Download Qqplayer and save yourself from all the codec hassle. It works without codecs and plays all the formats.
As you said, you are on ICS,so I would advice to convert your videos to mp4/3gp with 320x240 res. with a video bitrate not more than 512kbps.This way they will run smooth.
Many Thanks sir for your cooperation and i will tell you my experience about this player.
So i installed qqplayer and till now i have no problem with it exept it's a bit slow !
Many many thanks all of you , my expert bros

Can you please give me some links ?
Hi
Download the armv6 codec from here. This is the latest version of mx player codec available on playstore.http://db.tt/VREiuSvi
I uploaded it on dropbox just for you
and then tell me how it goes.
Also check your PM

Older version will be on 4shared
Best options are to email the developer or go to their site or google appname.apk(space)version
