Reporting Bugs

Before reporting a bug, please make sure you are running as stock as possible. This means no custom kernel, no custom framework modification, etc. If you are using any of the above modifications, please flash the rom again to get rid of the modifications before reporting.
- Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
- If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
- Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. The following is a useful format to follow.

How long it takes for initial boot?

after install or general?
after install: around 5 min
and general: 20~30 seconds

How is the rom? Rom have Turkish language? Photos???

After 15 minutes of initial logo I have removed the battery and then phone boot was ok.

Yeah take out battery after ~ 5 minutes then start normaly.
Man this is awsome. It's just might be the coolest replacement for Phiexz last rom for Gio, which was my base, solid rom for almost a year.
Beside that initial booting problem and very anoying setting up sistem (but very customizable) I ended up with a great rom.
Link2SD working well, Titanium bu did his part of the job, Holo launcher is responsive and very smooth, nice animations and a blaizing fast GPS lock, initial lock with 3G turned on was way under 10 sec. (never had it before).
WIFI is working well.
Will see how it peforms in terms of battery usage (fingers crossed).
A big minus is that ugly notification interface with horrible colors, I spent more than an hour to customize it how I wanted.
A big thanks from me and I will report back with battery usage and live navigation performance.

He always said the rom is not stable/battery drain etc without any explanation. Don't know why there is always someone thanks him for such emotional comments which lack evidence. Just ignore him I think
Anyway, I will try this later. But if it is like the last build by DQiB, I'm afraid the system menu is quite complicated, especially I have to scroll the top menu bar left/right which is quite inconvenient.

all aps are working fine, its build from source and have lass ram and battery consumption than the last releasse by squaddie

may i know which kernel did you use? is it your own kernel compiled from source?

Should i install it, is it smooth?

But:
Gets into boot loop itself after installing some apps ( Gmail and gdrive).

Maybe someone can help me as to what partition size would this take if installed to nand? many thanks

If you have dowloaded the rom open it with winrar and have a look of the uncompressed size , add 10Mo and it will give you a size for the partition system

uncompressed system partition size is 158 mos; so i assume 168 mos will be ok for system partition size (bad blocks aside)?

Dirty Unicorns is a custom ROM built with stability in mind and optional customization. The idea to start this ROM began out of pure boredom around 4.1.2 on the EVO 3D and later turned into a form of an addiction (a good one) to see where we could go from there. We have since expanded to more devices to include the HTC One, Nexus 5, SGS4 and many more. We quickly realize that users loved what we were doing as well as other developers because it was done the right way. We've always had fun doing it and take pride in knowing that we've done it without having to bug the end user for donations to pay for server costs and/or any of those sob stories you hear. This ROM is 100 percent free and will remain that way.​
Those wanting to use our ROM as a base are more the welcomed to do so but please maintained the credits/thanks below, do not ask for donations as it wouldn't be fair to do so considering and let us know as we often like to contribute to other projects.

AHA!! I ran into a kink, maybe it's known hmm, so when I have active display on when i use it it begins to open the notification when chosen but then goes to normal lockscreen and requires unlocking OHHHH THE HORROR! but yeah I love me some Acitive Display and this is a kill joy any ideas?
Not running xposed or any extra lock thingy, I will install fresh if it's not a known bug and that's the advise y'all think! :good:

and right out the gate the issue is there
1. turn on active display
2. notification comes in
3. delightfully check it using Active Display feature and see if it's interesting
4. Slide to open notification from Active Display lockscreen
5. Notification Opens in program and with anywhere from a split second to 2 seconds all of a sudden it flashes and goes back to the normal lockscreen and requires another swipe to unlock phone, naturally.
6. log on to xda and sobs*

First Time Install / Clean Flash from MIUI
Backup your entire internal storage as it will be wiped in the final step before rebooting to the system.
Flash the linked recovery image by performing the following:

fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.7.0_12-v7.8_A13-marble-skkk.img
After finishing with that, get into recovery by pressing the power button and volume up button. Or run "fastboot reboot recovery"
After that, Install the ROM either by doing the normal flashing step or use adb sideload.
Then kindly perform a format data in the recovery afterwards.
