Is xdadevelopers on Google+? Being a heavily Android based community I assumed they would be on there. Unless they are waiting for corporate profiles.

Thank you but yeah it seems like it doesn't exist anymore as you said. I've got my fingers crossed when G+ is out for companies.

Yeah, but the linked profile does have all the xda news on there. I just don't know if it's someone official (like an admin or mod) or just a member that posts everything.

I don´t think that is an official XDA, it is a personal G+ from our XDA TV personality

hey guys I was just thinking if chat feature can be integrated into xda forums which I guess would be a great value addition to this awesome site allowing users to solve their problems in real time...

sort by thread start date?

Hi, what I'm looking for is a way to sort the development forum by thread start date, to help me identify newly-released rom's. Is there a way to do this? thanks in advance

ey! I am NextGenROM and I design ROMs for the Galaxy S2 Skyrocket and Galaxy S2 SGH-T989!
I am needing some people to join my ROM team to help out with multiple issues I have:
I have bad internet (Cannot upload ROMs to my Website)
Can't release updates everyday (Need people to help release more)
I want to expand ROMs for multiple devices!

Please don't rag on any new person that wants to enter development. It, (like apple) stops innovation from happening. Don't bring this down IMMEDIATELY, stay on watch and give it a chance or just don't comment. I want to learn real development in the future through college and major in it and I don't want this to happen to me....lol

Exactly my point, after a few hard bricked devices and seen the way it was handled everyone is skeptical to just be trusted. Someone over at the Skyrocket thread already called him out being jalstudio http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32117381&postcount=19 and if you look at his other crap work http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1892284 it says right there next gerneration rom... lmao I dont understand how this guy has a new account and trying to release more brick work after he was already warned by a mod not to even try doing anything without his ok first...

I gotta agree with no replies and I understand, I would never be the first one to flash a new ROM...sucks that it only takes one to ruin it all..

We have 20 roms to choose from and only three kernels. .. What's so pointless about asking why ? If you don't like a thread move on. . But the discussion shouldn't be shut down. . But it's a tech community.

And his thread that got closed sounded more like a complaint about the lack of kernels rather than a contributing discussion.
To OP, kernels are harder to build than roms, it's not surprising that you'll see less kernels than roms. To be honest, there are great kernels out there for this device already, like saber, persus.
If you really think that we need another kernel, then feel free to build another one. I would be excited to see what you can build.
