[IMPORTANT] is it possible to get the original rom with the lock back ???

hello !!
im having problem replacing my failer device with new one in HTC Service Center .. if the software is different from the original i lose the warranty and i changed it .. so i want to get it back with the lock .. is it possible ?? please its important cuz i the device is damaged and they will refuse to replace it ..
the original rom was from Indian Airtel telecom .. v 1.37 with the lock
please some1 give me an answer even if its not possible so i can calm about it and find another solution for it ..

...cool down! Sure is it possible to revert to the orig. rom, assumed you have the rom!

i dont have the orig rom .. where can i get it ?

Man, you talk like its easy to find .. but i searched all over the forum and even other sites .. and found nothing ....

where did you get the phone from? surely the shop can help you get a copy of the original rom...
otherwise as above... try registering on htc website to down the official roms

do you sim lock? yo uare allowed to unlock your phone
the 137. rom is on here il try find it for you

[Q] Problem with operator's modifications.

Hi everyone !
I've just bought an HTC 8S but it's modified by the operator (SFR France).
I would like to know if there is a way to install a "stock" rom without any modification because the operator apps are really annoying and there is no way to uninstall them. Also, the phone is SIM locked, is there a way to unlock it ?
I've found this posts which seems to be interresting, but i don't understad everything.

As i understod is necessary to edit the CID with the right one before flashing roms, is that correct?

Vivo X6 plus A - help to get root!

Hi! I just buy newest chinese phone
shop.vivo.com.cn/wap/product/224
with latest hifi DAC ESS9028 and shocked that they seems lock the phone to get root rights
Please help me to get root rights, cause i can not imagine my usage of the phone without root
P.s. my old phone is vivo xplay, root get from recovery mod by adb

bcos this is usa site and nobody doesn't give fcuk about this phone... Yeah it is really bad .. I know but vivo phones will NEVER be rooted anymore..

And wrong again. I know a lot people with a strong interest in audio related specs of a phone are interested in vivo.

1st- how to unclock bootloader?
2nd - plz give me the latest link of twrp version
3rd- i want to root my device
4th - using stock rom .. i m from india .. i want to root my stock rom and want to install twrp
5th- where i can find offical stock rom downloading lin plz give me the link
6th- before rooting or before unlocking bootloader .what i have to backup ?? coz i dont want lose iemi ..in samsung we backup efs to backups the imi
7th- what adbs software need ? and what flashing application i need to root? .... to unclock bootloader?..what backup tolls i need to this stuff .. and what usb driver i need to doing this stuff ?? plz share all links with latest version ... we use odin apps to flash samsung offical firmaware ...

Same questions I have and u can't see a development section. On Tapatalk app for some reason
I used to root and install ROMs all the time with my old zte blade, not felt the need to not recently, but have rooted my smart ultra 6 which has a locked bootloader (which 2bh I am not sure what this is or what it does) and getting my op3 shortly and will look to root it mainly for app data restore off titanium backup.
Used to seeing a sticky guide for these things but can't seem to find anything for the op3

took 3 posts to finally help the guy, This guy right that i qouted here is the what we need in the world, people are new at stuff and need to be pointed in the right direction, so instead of being like a walmart or best buy employer and saying "oh its right over there somewhere." Just actually help the guy like this guy. You people were all new at this at one point and this is why the world is going to ****, b/c 1 out of 4 people who responded was not lazy and posted link and offered more help, this is what this community is about, not to just say oh do a search for it. Come on people stop being lazy and just help out, if u don't want to then stfu

I would've posted links but it's not so simple on app, also if you can't be bothered to search and read on complex topics, which might result in you destroying your expensive phone, maybe you shouldn't be undertaking them.

+1. I agree. People can't be expected to be spoon fed all the time. Just search it! It's that simple.

Is there no working way to root an Honor 7x now?

Hi, I have had this phone (honor 7x) for a while and I am planning on using another phone as my daily driver, so I thought of rooting this phone and put it to some special use. I want to root it and get magisk and try that out but every guide I've read online refers to the unlock code from Huawei. I have their account and everything since day 1 but I can't seem to find an option to get a code from there. I have read in some posts here that Huawei aren't giving out anymore unlock codes.
Is there no way I can root this phone and get twrp/custom roms etc now?

Bro.. M also noob here.. It's very sad.. this forum is very slow... No one is replying here... I posted few threads.. I haven't got reply.. Maybe becoz honor 7x is old now
Anyway for unlocking bootloader u need to dawngrade ur device from oreo to naugat... And then try unlocking ur device by using dc unlocker

Thanks man, I might try that but I check d-unlocker and 7x is not listed as a supported phone

Sry use hcu client instead of dc unlocker..
