Micromax A25 jelly bean updated by myself - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

hey guys,i have successfully made jelly bean update on micromax a25 and i flashed it using CWM recovery thanxx to aman .droid for the recovery.
It has jelly bean 4.1.1 and i have attached pics ,so u can see. :victory:

my hardwork is failure
i think no one wants a rom for micromax a25 ,i thought i will get many opinions on my rom for improvements, adding new things etc. But,i got failure

Nice efforts man. Just a couple of questions though:
1. Where did you find the base Jelly bean rom?
2. Where did you find the drivers for MMX A25?

Answers for your question:
1.updated through android kitchen.
2.drivers can be downloaded through micromax website.(micromaxinfo.com)

The ROM in this thread seems to be the same as the ROM you are discussing here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39485751&postcount=3
Based on what has been discussed here and in the other thread, it looks to me like you are not actually porting jelly bean onto the A25, instead you are creating a ROM with the look and feel of Jelly Bean. Regardless of which ever it is, a custom ROM for this device would be welcome, but you must be absolutely clear about what you have done and provide sources for the ROM.
For now, this thread is closed, but once you are ready to release your ROM (complete with download links) I will happily reopen this thread for.

thank you bro
one more thing
is this rom compatible with my lt18a and is it better than the stcok android 4
i dont have an idea of the rom u have linked up, but if you want any recommended rom in XDA dev section go for JJ hybrid or Xperia pureness rom or jelly sandwich its becuase its supported here and you can find all support you need int respective rom threads.
speaking of diffrences from your stock rom these are higly tweaked more fast and stable roms . just go through the OP of each rom for thier features and you will know what im saying.
and if your bootloader is unlocked use LUpus or Archnight kernels with these roms to tweak battery and performance or ur arc s.

Mooded rom is a bit old... and there is no support, cause the developer is currently banned from xda.

Basically, I have the same question. I mean, isn't it possible to port any sony JB (like xperia T or smth) original ROM's to 2011 devices?

I think it's the major differences in framework of the phones. Can't be sure because I'm sorta noob xD
just if it was that easy. The phones have completely differant hardware, and framework. and why don't you like custom roms, they are the best
Then how can applications, SystemUI's and other staff be ported to ics from jelly bean xperia's?

As mentioned above, try a custom JB ROM. I'm using Super Jelly Bean right now. It's very smooth, and gives you a nice, stock JB experience.

I would advise to take it a step further and unlock your bootloader and install CWM... then install one of the latest JB Roms (they all run great), I personally have a few JB Roms in the forum if you are interested but you can also go for CM10.1 (mustaavalkosta) and JellyTime (randomblame) or Paranoid... etc. The choice is yours...

He used to installed it but jb have reputation to drains more battery compared to stock rom. My recommendation will be either ARHD or rooted stock rom that you can find in the devs section.

Samsung galaxy ace II [GT-I1860] JB help.

Samsung galaxy ace II [GT-I1860] JB help/ questions.
hey everyone today ive decided to make a thread for the galaxy ace 2 Jellybean users to help awnser your problems and lags and what causes them, and to ask my own questions...
JellyBean 4.1.2 (Stock rom) having tried this rom ive currently found no problems other than that horrible lock screen,
if you switch it off / lock it (via the power button) and then switch the screen on again and you get a black screen
thus so disabling the usage of lock screen/sleep does anyone know how to fix this or am i just flashing the wrong/unstable rom...
if you have a stable rom for the ace 2 (GB & JB) please share :good:
thank you and all the best,
-Speedtrix.
(PS. im not noob so fell free to use all terms to say what you think.) :good:
I would use cm10.1 and above because i never liked stock jb on our phone :/ as for gb theres no custom rom

slow boot-up,

none the less im going back to gingerbread after months of trying sticking with jellybean to make it work one small problem....
i dont have ginger bread firmware for any european contry
and if you could tell me where i could find a dodexed jellybean.zip for just a little project
im not sure what to use anymore but im really desprete for a stable firmware even if it means going back to gingerbread

Yeah, u can do it if your bootloader is unlocked. For 4.2.2 , go check it out these thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2196854 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2099499 if you wan taste the latest 4.4 kitkat. You can easily found it by reading the first page of android development. There is tons of custom rom of 4.4, so you can test it one by one
