Can anyone run this game?
With cm10.1?
It freezes for me after loading the first level.
I don't have cm10 installed now but I did a few weeks ago and thus game was running great. The spider man game runs great too

Hmm... Not sure what I'm doing wrong... The game won't load the first level... I've tried reinstalling the game many times. I've tried to contact gameloft tech support and they gave me another Dark Knight Rises apk that doesn't even work! Their apk tells me it's not the real game! Lol!
Lol im not sure are the old files for it store some where because sometimes it will save files on my internal sd card so when I uninstall im at the same spot instead of starting over

I would like to buy a few of gameloft games now that they have optimize the game for the evo. But what would happen if i switch roms or by some bad luck i loose my phone and new a asurion replacemebt. Do i have to rebuy the games again.
sent from htc evo 4g
As long as you keep a back up of the apk you will be fine, otherwise you will have to buy it again.

From the market? If its from the market don't worry. I have flashed roms so much in the past week and forgot to backup paid apps. Go to market after signing into Google and they say purchased. So I can download still if its not on the phone without paying again.. just saying. Not surebif that's where your getting them from.

I backed up let's golf with titanium before switching roms and titanium reinstated it with no issues.

Gameloft games are not in the market, except for asphalt. You must back up those games with an app like titanium backup, otherwise you have to buy them again from gameloft.

Look in download folder on sdcard, the game is still there. I use root explorer to reinstall them but I think any file explorer should work.
Hey thanks to all reading this. I have a problem extracting data from an old phone, sorry if this is in wrong section I'm using an s3 so came here. Situation is had s2 and dropped in water. Phone works but screen doesn't. I think it works in some spots but not enough for me to get the SD to work. When its plugged in I see the drive disappear instantly so can't get file. The file I need is a PDF I downloaded months back. It saved to my phones drive. Im not having much luck with adb and not sure I even know where to look for the PDF. I was able to view it using adobe reader. I have a nandroid but dunno where to look for his PDF. I am on a twrp recovery so kinda screw ed there and screen cast a no go. Anyone know where to look in nandroid browser for a PDF downloaded to phone mem? Any ideas are appreciated thx so much

You could try airdroid, connect to your phone wirelessly from your pc and browse files on it, then just download from phone to pcs
Wait a minute, sorry, you said you cant see the screen very much so how you gonna be able to down load an app ... duh my bad.
Ya the screen is completely black. Sound works and some background stuff but can't see anything and not sure what works

Does adb recognize the device? If so its just a matter of reading through adb for dummies (will try and find a link) to get the right command.
Or pm EarlyMon. I bet he knows the cmd

I havent tried adb too much I'm not sure if its picking it up or not, I have all the latest components but might need older ones. When I do try adb it dosent detect anything so far. Not even the s3 so not ruling it out yet. I'm so desperate I'm thinking about restoring the nandroid to s3 and see what happens. The file I need is my medical license without it I'm f'd. Its a hassle to get a new one, so much so I'm going thru this headache. About to chuck this thing

Hi there. I installed cm10.1.2 on my s3 and I can't seem to get subway surfers to work. Now I looked around and the only thing I can find is that its looking for the data in the wrong folder. Now my question is can I get rid of the emulated folder and just have the sdcard0 or is emulated mandatory?

Same issue here. Its not because its looking for data in the wrong place, if you download the game straight from the play store after flashing a ROM, the game still won't work (it doesn't have any data to look for so the game should just start up and its always worked before on different versions of android and custom ROMs). I'm not sure of the exact issue, but a recent update caused the problem. Try sending an email to the maker of the game through the play store too see what's causing the issue.

Well talked to kilo and they said it isn't tested on custom roms. So I guess until someone finds a fix it won't work on cm10.1.2 :'( guess I'll stay stock...

In theory yes but unless u know what ur doing it'll never happen, as its more than just moving files around, u need to know how to decompile and recompile because the data ur looking for can't just be moved around

That would explain why using my old files caused the game to crash
Last I looked titanium backup will restore from cwm and twrp backups.

I did a search and found one or two threads with a few suggestions but all went cold after a few pages...I have followed those threads suggestions and have reformatted my internal and external SD cards along with a factory data reset with no avail. I'll attach a screenshot...thanks xda'ers for any help you can offer.

Got any apps that would keep using Media service? When you force stop it does it come back again?
Yeah it does but I can't figure out which app would be the cause...been monitoring with better battery stats and doesn't list a contributor. Uninstalled music hub with titanium backup and I don't use Google music...can't seem to lock down the cause.

You use stock browser?
You could try Avast Mobile Security. It has a feature called Network Meter that shows each apps MiB usage. Good luck!
I use Next launcher...thanks for the input guys I'll keep ya posted

Avast was informative but only listed the same results as battery in settings...didn't specify. Thanks for the suggestions guys!

Media scanner running is often a function if background syncage or of playing media.

Yeah I've been trying to figure out if that's the case but I keep sync off and mostly just watch movies I've put on my ext sd card..maybe my sd card is the problem?
Sent from my SPH-L900 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
What size is your sd card? I had this happen with a 32 gb one time. Switched to 16 and all has been fine. It also might be a corrupt file on the sd if it is the sd.

Yeah I've got a 32 gb, have had it in this thing since I got it when the note 2 came out...haven't had any issues until recently. I did notice when I popped it out overnight then put it back in today the media scanner went nuts for a while (the pic I attached)

this ^^^ may be your issue. a corrupt image, music, video file somewhere on your sd. a lot of ppl say to back up everything on yer sd card to a pc, and then reformat, then add back the contents. i know that stopped it for some. otherwise youll have to figure out what file is corrupted.
when i had a corrupted file, it was a picture that had about 80% of the image on it and the other 20% was just grey. (yep that was corrupted) so i deleted it..
this wonderful app also stops your 'media' process/scanner. you can disable it and enable it and it worked wonders for me in the past, but now CarbonRom has a media scanner toggle built in
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.addz.mediascannerroot please read description and use at your own risk.. like maybe make a nand first.
just an FYI, the service that gets very high when youre listening to lots of music is 'mediaserver' - which is not related to the 'media' process
Thanks to everyone for all of your input! You guys have been a huge help knocking this little annoyance out!!
Sent from my SPH-L900 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Yeah sounds like you're having issues with the external SD. Mediascannerservice is what scans for media on SD cards. I've had that issue before and it was a pita! Reformatted and everything was fine till I added all my files then it returned. One of the files (a movie) was no good. It got corrupted and would still play so I never thought anything of it till I tried *watching* the whole movie one day and it cut off with an unsupported message at like 40 mins through. Once I deleted that and rebooted never had the issue again.

I'm thinking that's exactly my problem...I've reformatted it twice but still puts media scanner in overdrive. I've weeded out all the movies I'm bored with and only left a few..today it's a little better but still kept cpu awake running for ten min. Thanks for your input!
