What is Your AT&T E980 Baseband Version?

I need to know Settings > General > About Phone > Software info and if you could either screenshot that or just give me the Baseband Version I need it and only need it from an AT&T E980.

I imagine APQ8064/MDM9x15M comes as part of the Value Pack Update for the AT&T E980. I didn't see what was in the original software when the phone was released.

Service Disabled F240K on E988

My phone e988 was jtag yesterday. I went to mobile repair shop and they helped me to fix jtag and flashed F240K on it. Now everything fine, IMEI showing. SIM or cell number is showing but I am getting service Disabled. Also upon searching network manually I am getting nothing just white sceen or menu.
Sometime it show Unkown Network or operator network info not available.
Anyone Got any idea how to fix ?

same happened to me after tried to install sphinx 1.5
have you got any solution

Have you jtaged it ? Remove battery and insert it again and power ON it and check if you see lg logo on it

You have to go back to stock ROM via TOT file method not kdz. It will work.

Well by the grace of almighty i came up from the Black hole .. Flashin sphinx rom made everything ok. many many thanx for the suggestions made by everyone.
I think it was dependent on both the baseband and build.prop. i have no idea how it worked but it will be a pleasure if someone comes up with explanations..:good:

Flashing Sphinx v1.5 resolved my problem and I got my signals back. Can call, receive call and RECEIVE messages, WIFI works but can not SEND messages. Checked SMSC Number and found it OK. Can anyone tell me how to come out of this issue (Message not sent error)?

Did you go back to a stock ROM before flashing VUPMP? If the problem persists, it sounds like you may need to make so bold on a clean slate, and flash some TOT/KDZ.

LTE issues on D855

Hi i have the european Version of the LG G3 and when i turn on LTE it does not work only H i have German Telekom an when i insert my sim in my LG G2 LTE works perfekt, did i make anything wrong? Can someone help me please i try nearly everything .

thx but it is 2G/3G/LTE

If you're using same SIM as you did on G2 I have no clue, otherwise, I had to call my provider to allow 4G on this SIM (I changed provider to get the G3 at a reasonable price)

d855 model could try the 10b/10c firmware from singapore/australia. my indonesian d855 also did not show lte option with 10a, but after flashing 10b it is there even though i can not use it as we do not have lte network as of yet.

no, you don't have to be rooted.

the original fw (10a) that i had, did not have the LTE option anywhere. only 2G, 3G, 2G/3G in the network, but on 10b, it has the LTE option.
keep in mind, my phone is D855

have u select 2G/3G/LTE in network setting?if yes, try hidden menu, if still didnt work,root and delete LTEConfig from system/app

Ya same here but I still managed to get LTE. You need to 1: Have the correct apn settings 2: go in the phone's secret menu and change it to LTE. Only then you will get LTE but it will never show as an option.

I found another solution that worked for me. And it's permanent!
Simply use a Prop Build editor to go into the build.prop and change the "telephony.lteOnCdmaDevice” value from 0 to 1. There are two lines on in the G3 build prop. Make sure both have the value of 1. Then save. Then reboot.
I applied this to my G3 problem and now it is completely fixed!! I can select LTE auto and it stays, even on a reboot! I'll basically have to do this everytime i flash a new rom or update but it works!
I'll probably make a YouTube video later today to share the fix.

Hi there do you mind confirming which firmware will fix and update my lg g3 d855 model?
It doesn't have any lte option inside the network settings.
Please kindly confirm if the firmware 10b and not 10a is the correct one?

This is utter bullsh1t from LG. I've just bought a 32Gb model which came with V10X-Euro -XX software on it and I can't select LTE/4G to use on my network. What a flapping joke. I do not wish to root my phone or use an app from the store simply to enable 4G in my phone.

It's gonna open the "Hidden Menu", follow the path: LTE-Only > Modem Settings > RAT Selection > GSM/WCDMA/LTE Auto
This way you'll connect to the best signal available. Or you can select one of the other options available.

Hi,
Anyone able to use volte on D855 on Jio network? I heard there is a global volte fix but limitless rom doesn't seem to support volte for Jio.

I also tried fulmics but it doesn't support jio. I read somewhere that jio uses band 5 for volte and band 5 is locked in d855 version. So I even unlocked band 5 on my phone. But it is still not working.

Any update?
Do any one have update on this?. My friend has TWN variant. LTE works fine with stock rom but not Volte. If hardware seems to be supporting the feature (using Jio join or volte else where) why not Jio by default in india. I am open to try custom rom also if it works.

It won't help. As far as l tried there is no way to get jio volte on g3. Network works fine.

Nope, i tried too. Not working. Data works. No calls or messages.

I'm running fulmics 6.5. tried enabling volte in hidden menu but doesn't work. But I am able to make free calls and SMS though the joi 4g mobile app.

a)delete all previous APN and create these 2 APNs:
Name: Internet
APN: jionet
Type: default,ia
Protocol: IPv4 and IPv6
Name: IMS
APN: ims
Type: ims
Protocol: IPv4 and IPv6
b)Now, Go the to dialer and type - 277634#*#
c) go to FIELD TEST..then VOLTE On/Off...then SUBCRIBER..and then type all the settings shown in the 2nd comment of the post having 8 screenshots. The link of the thread is --> ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/g...l-sim-t3471160) . Make sure everything is types exactly as shown in the screenshots. Once again I repeat, Follow the screenshots attached in the very starting (2nd comment )of the same thread and type exactly as shown in the screenshots. In short, make sure you leave nothing under SUBSCRIBER ,AoS and Debug Screen option.
4) RESTART your mobile.
5) Make sure VOLTE option is enabled in the notification panel. You can Also check the VOLTE status as shown in those 8 screenshots under the VOLTE DEBUG SCREEN setting which tells you VOLTE is ENABLED or DISABLED.
ENJOY !! you can now make VOLTE calls and Surf the internet over LTE simultaneously

This only works on stock roms? Or can I try this on cm based roms? I can't open engineering mode on 7.0 cm rom like tesla.

Don't know about the official firmware but fulmics 6.6 has volte support and it's stock based.
