Back before all the custom ROM goodness I was able to browse the contents of my sd card via Bluetooth on my Mac. Now using the custom ROMS THAT function seems to have gone missing on my E973.
Is there any way to get browsing over Bluetooth back? It's just more convenient than lugging out a usb cable.
Thanks!

Hi there,
Dont suppose anyone has found a way to be able to write to the external SD whilst using JP3?
It's annoying me that I have to write to the Internal, then copy everything across to the external using Estrongs.
Help!!!
Connect with Samsung Kies with USB debugging off and it'll work just fine. It mounts your SD's like a drive on your PC.
How come I'm not able to just connect via usb as mass storage then?
Is there kies for mac? That's where my files are kept.

It works with root explorer as well, but there are no simple ways to do it.
This is actually one of the reasons why I don't use the JP3 atm.
Hi All,
I got an LG nitro from my friend. I have rooted and flashed CM10.1 RC4. The only problem I am having is that the internal storage is not showing up when connected via USB. The external is showing up. I don't think it is a problem with CM10.1 because I found the same issues with other ROMS (2.3.5, 2.3.6 and 4.0.4). Please let me know if anyone faced this issue.
One thing i found is the VOLD.FSTAB file has only one entry for the external drive. Does it have anything to do with it?
Thanks in advance
B
LG Nitro doesn't have internal sd, just for apps and data. I'm talking about p93x but if it's another model, I don't know.

Thank you el_venga. Yes this is LG Nitro P930. Does it mean the internal SD cant be accessed via USB? Is there a hack that can make this available? I am seeing 2GB of space on phone and in PC it would not list the drive.

No way to access except for the partition as a whole. I suppose there could be a Linux app that might be able to access but I imagine it also would require special USB drivers. Just a guess though. I know there are some windows apps that can open and extract .IMG files. That way be the only shot.

Guys I have an issue with my xperia zl I don't know if this is Rom related or not. When I connect my external usb to my device it deletes most of the files in external usb, same goes to my sd card whenever I add a file in the card it goes away like it was deleted. I am using stock rom 4.4.2 rooted. Any ideas on how tp fix this? I would appreciate the help.
Try using another USB port also remember KitKat utilizes the ext sd differently now look for an app in the play store that would help or on xda.

I have a Meenova OTG with a 64Gb micro SD card. I was able to restore some data for some programs I had saved from my LG G2. I wanted to have both devices use the same data for programs like my email accounts in Kaiten email. I created a folder called TitaniumNexus to backup my Nexus 7 but cannot access it. Has anyone come up with a workaround on this? I have researched it quite a bit and it seems like a dead end. I was using StickMount and have tried some others to no avail. Are there any custom roms that work around this issue? I would really like to backup both devices to the same drive.
I got this working. I installed xposed framework and added the KitKat SD card full access. Hope this helps others.

I am running Android 11 on my T-Mobile LG G8 ThinQ. I noticed that I cannot access the SD Card files when I'm using Wi-Fi File Transfer Pro or any other Android app that lets you browse files in your PC web browser. Android 9 and 10 also has this problem. I think it's the phone because I was able to browse the SD Card on my LG G6 just fine with no issues. If I were to do a direct connection using a USB Type-C cable to PC, then I can access the SD Card. But I want to use Wi-Fi because it's much faster.
Why not just mount the sdcard onto Windows as a drive letter over Wi-Fi?
That's some pretty advanced stuff. I'll have to look into this. Thanks!
