Or;
Try Carbon or AKOP .
Deleting Rom installed apps can sometimes create hairballs from hell .

I'm such an idiot I wasn't thinking thank you.
Better yet just open the archive in 7zip and delete the apks you don't want from the system/app folder then flash it.

And just read the OP of each ROM, they should tell you what is in it.

Ive had my SGIII long enough now running on the stock rom. Iv decided that I want to root it now. I want to know which or who has the best root out there that will me the most bang? I haven't rooted an android phone since my captivate a few years back. The best part of that root is that it allowed me to teather without having to pay AT&T.

I've only ever seen one root and it's ChainFire's.

STOP!
Looking at what you have said and your Sig,, you are in the wrong forum and risk bricking your phone if you flash anything from here

Sorry about this, I am not allowed to ask on a developers thread. I am running Anakonda 2.0 ICS ff18, I would like to try out RUJELUS JB rom when he is done with it. If I dont like it will i be able to go back to my ics ff18 without any problems?
You are allowed to ask in the QA section where questions belong. Do not double post this in there a mod will move it.
If you are unsure about going back to stock after flashing a ROM, you need to read the stickies.

Read the thread on how to use nandroid. It will help you with backing up your current setup and easily allow you to go back after trying out another rom.

I've got a sprint galaxy s3 with clockword mod recovery on it.
i want to just go back to the newest stock s3 rom so that it will do autoupdates and all that good stuff. tired of playing with it, getting a note 3 soon and just want to ride it out stock until then in case I need to sell it.
anyone have links for info on how to revert back to stock? Keeping clockword mod recovery on it is fine, just want the most up to date stock gs3 rom running on it.
thanks for the help!

I just rooted and made a backup of the stock system
Hey everyone,
I recently rooted my phone and installed Galaxy S4's weather widget but it seems not to work on my Galaxy S3 and messed up my phone. Everytime I reboot I see the Android is upgrading and then it takes about 3 minutes to start up my phone. I didn't do backup of stock weather widget.
Can someone please upload stock weather widget for me? Files are: AccuweatherWidget.apk ; AccuweatherWidget_Main.apk and AccuweaterDaemon.apk ?
Thanks!
Download any twz ROM and unzip. The files you need should be in /system/app

Can you upload them?
What is the best way to root the d710BST (Boost mobile) model of the phone? I have been looking around for a month now... I NEED help. I don't want the sprint bloatware though........
Easiest way to root is to use a one click. Get the bloat out by either using a rom that has it removed or by using titanium backup to remove bloat you dont want.

You should just use framaroot apk just google it, works perfect. Choose super su then choose aragon then reboot.

Are you asking about root for JB on the Boost variant? I have a guide that explains how to root your existing setup. It's basically the same for both Sprint and Boost. If you want to use a stock kernel after rooting just flash a Boost kernel for JB.
