For a price of $119.95..Unfortunately out of stock..but a may 25th date has been set as the shipping date..Anybody want the "Extra Strong Extended Replacement Battery..w/ 2.55x the stock battery life"..sounds pretty damn nice!
That's more than I paid for my atrix!
hard to tell from such a small picture... but that looks like a remarkably crappy battery door....
4800? holy ****

Wow,
Man, that's ginormous. I like that this phone's battery lasts almost a good 24hrs with solid use. My Evo would last that long if I barely used it lol. Oh and my girlfriend's Inspire! Forget about it, lol.
Overall, I'm happy with the battery life now and can't imagine how long something that large would last.

That thing is horrendous. I get decent battery life out of the stock battery. I think it'd be more economical to just get an additional OEM battery and carry that in your pocket, not that behemoth!
the real mAH is prob much lower than 4800. And for the price and size, Id rather tape on two spare batteries to my phone

But seriously, that ****s insane. You wouldn't ever have to charge that thing!
I woudnt want to imagine how the extended battery would work for the atrix...
check out this video of the samsung galaxy s with an extended 3200mah battery... makes the phone look like the size of a old school ipod...
http://youtu.be/iTJRyVjBw-g?hd=1
not to mention an extended battery for the Atrix. would probably make the fingerprint reader harder to use.

Yea. Actually took the case and cover off my phone after reading that little bit. Didn't remember the battery being right at the base of the fingerprint reader. So using a seriously big battery would make that kinda pointless.... since not only would it be hard to reach, but they'd have to design some crazy cover to even get it to work.
I bought one of these and so far NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL!?
Is there something I need to do so Android understands it has more capacity, or does it just s*ck? I was also wondering if others have similar experience.

Some devices will only recalibrate the battery meter when the battery gets completely (or almost completely) discharged and THEN fully recharged. Don't know if that's the case with Atrix, but it's worth a try.
I just received mine too. Will be trying it out later tonight. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

Post some good pics of it. The one on the site looks like it was taken with an Apple Quicktake.
Anyone know if momax is gonna make a larger battery and case for this phone? i hope they do.
i just got a couple of the regular 1850 mAh for spare
the standard battery is plenty enough compared to other versions of SGS2 and Galaxy Nexus
o0o how long does the battery last on it? i prefer to have one and not have to carry around extras.

Exactly as the title suggests I'm looking for everyone's opinion on the best stock size battery for the Note. I've been using the Mugen battery but at times the bulk seems too much and I'm interested in trying something stock size that gets me at least a little better than stock battery performance.
Thoughts, opinions, experiences?

it is too expensive? any cheap battery for extend battery life of galaxy Note
I use the "golden battery", the sticker on it says 3250 mAh.. and that power stays at the sticker. It is roughly as good or just a tiny bit better than stock battery.
I get 3 hours 10 minutes maybe 20 minutes less or more each day of screen time on weekdays with stock battery. Let's use this as a standard for me.
With gold battery I get 3 hours and 40 minutes with a variation of 30 minutes more or less.
So it doesn't last 30% more as the sticker suggests.. but meh it lasts as much or a little bit more so I am not bothered with a 15 doller battery I can carry in my wallet as a backup

Do explain why it should be crap? Isn't it known that with most products you pay partially for the "brand name"
Anker cost 20$ for pair of battery's and a charger or 10$ for single battery... Not that expensive but you have most XDA behind it saying it's a good company

I got a 2700mAh Anker off Amazon that BMW Pro is now estimating to be 2983mAh
Maybe I'm using BMW Pro wrong...
Also, it seems to handle charge/discharge better, it doesn't get as hot as stock under load.

I was thinking about it, and it seems plausible that the best stock sized battery for this phone at this moment would be a 2700mah one. If you look at it, the Mugen 5400mah extended battery is just 2, 2700mah batteries linked together.
Until a revolution in batteries is made, I don't think we'll get a stock sized one with a better mileage .
different capacity with stock size battery
It's mean the concentration become higher...
just wondering.
you know the anker charger that comes with the bundle if you buy 2 anker 2700 batteries?
does it charge the stock battery as well?
im assuming it does cuz the batteries are the same size (right?)
just wanting to make sure.
cheers.
UPDATED -> Post, video & LOADS of pictures!
I felt like posting on XDA too - so here it is, the battery stand/charger!
I bought it for £31, I thought might as well, especially for the extra official battery.
Here's my video on it:

Finally, I was wondering if anyone else has it, and what you guys think of it?

does the battery have an NFC antenna in it? from your picture, it looks like it's just a normal battery...
how long does it take to charge up the battery?

Plus when you charge the extra battery here, it lasts longer, as it goes to 100% properly, not like the phone charger.

well, you get charged to 100, then as you release it, it drops (which is normal) - although now with the new firmware - it stays at 100 a lil
Would anyone consider getting this battery? It'll more than double your battery life. Problem is how big is it and can you find a case/battery door that'll fit. And do you even need it considering you can get a good 24 hours out of it already. Thoughts?

I'm not so sure the price is fare, but this is the only extended battery that I've seen with a voltage output the same as stock at 3.8v. All the others that I've seen are at 3.7v. Not even sure if it REALLY even matters that much. But I would feel better with my replacement battery being the same as stock. Just my opinion.
