I want to be "system.img" after editing repackaged into the "tot" file. I would like to ask how to operation. Please.

hi everyone i need some help;
I have latest firmware from samsung and it is in .exe format and I want to have pda part of it. i mean .bin file of it. I used omnia's exe convertor and I had img file (88mb) and I dont know how can I get .bin part from image file.can u help me?
or do u have another method or tool to get .bin part?

Right now I'm trying to figure out how stock JB is packed.
I found great tool that can pack/unpack stock rom.
But it contains some errors.
I fixed all the errors, and I found out that:
1) It contains some unknown 256 bytes. I guess it some sign.
2) I packed to zip by some magic app. Because right now I unpacked blob file, the packed it. I used compare tool to compare original blob file with newely created and it says they are the same. Packed to ZIP and tried to install. Installation failed. So, I assumed, that they use some application to pack
Maybe someone tried to do the same? Some ideas?
PS: Right now I seems like the only wat to get root. Because current permissions in android allows to write only to /proc/procID/ folder and /sdcard that's all.

i'm learning how to make flashable zips and in the tutorial i'm reading he says that the one he linked is for that specific device. I understand the script provides access to update commands and functions or something. So if it is specific to each phone, does that mean i can pull the file out of any flashable that works on my phone and use it? if so, how do you make flashables that are universal?
i sense i'm missing some important information about this file, the tutorial is quite breif because he just links the file and says this is the update-binary file for this phone. I google update-binary explained and a few other things and couldn't seem to find anyone who could explain much about the file. my assumption is that the updater-script file calls on functions found in the binary file or something.

Hello, I write to all this time to solve a small problem that me arises to the decompress a .kdz file.
Using the LGExtract tool, the .CAB file appears without problem. But on having tried decompress this file with winrar or any software of decompression, to obtain the files fls and wdb, says to me that this corrupt, or that it does not have a type of valid file.
How I can solve this? Does this happen to someone else?

in order to create a flashable bootloader.zip we need to be able to extract the bootloader-flo-flo.4.04.img file all the img utilities I tried to unpack that file give a bunch or errors
can anyone see if they are able to unpack that file with imgtool or imgRePackerRK or other?
If anyone can try and unpack the bootloader-flo-flo.4.04.img file I am not sure why I keep getting bad file descriptor errors when trying to unpack it using imgtool
with that unpacked it should be easy to make a flashable bootloader, and there are a bunch of people all over that need this that either do not have access to a machine or like myself the USB port is not working at all on the device.
