Why is it so hard to find some decent 720 x 1280 wallpapers? Most of them are either the other way round, so i have to scroll my desktop to view the full image, which i don't like doing.
I clicked on 720 x 1080 on the website, downloaded the image and the resolution was 1440 x 1280.
I just want some decent portrait backgrounds!

Check www.wallpapercasa.com they have some decent ones and you can just browse portrait ones.

Wallpaper Resolution ?

Hey guys! I've been looking for wallpapers for my HTC One X but I've been unable to find any good ones that fits the resolution because the wallpaper in the phone isnt the same as the phones resolution or something.
I've had some people on a different forum make me wallpapers with the size 720x1280, but i only got a very little piece of the wallpaper..
I've sent a email to HTC cause their chat is down or something, but I'm gonna ask here aswell for a faster response.
What size is it I'm going to look for ?
You are looking for 1440 x 1280

Resize Wallpaper

Hey guys, anyway to bypass the cropping square limit when setting a custom wallpaper? This reduces the area of the wallpaper and degrades the quality...
Tried to search the forum but couldn't find any useful guides.. thanks in advance!

You can resize that square in order to use the whole 1440x1280 resolution. Just pull it at the corners...

U can use picspeed wallpapers app from the market. Browse through gallery and set picture as "picspeed wallpapers" then use the custom option and set what size u want with the grips

well then you'd want 720x1280, https://www.google.com/search?sclie...=1680&bih=925&wrapid=tljp134315960855632&oq=w
but if you're using typical wallpaper scrolling like we've all been using the past few years, you actually want 1440x1280.
Thanks

There doesn't seem to be that many good 720x1280 wallpapers around. I've just been cropping down regular wallpapers, when ur looking, just think about where u will crop it to look good. I will be getting some nice very high def ones to crop soon, most regular ones from zedge and other programs seem a bit fuzzy, they're probably not 1280 tall. In fact even the 1080p walpapers from my desktop would have the same effect.

Lockscreen Wallpaper resolution

Hey guys,
Was wondering, what Resolution of wallpaper do I need for the htc one lockscreen? it just crops everything I put on :S
You have to stretch the crop area to fit the whole image. It's stupid. The res is 1080x1920 for best quality.

I know,
So u'r Suggesting 1920 height X 1080 width?
Yes. It crop anything else out of that area. You could do any image but it'll either end up blurry if it's height isn't at least 1920 and width isn't at Least 1080.

Wallpapers stretched - looks terrible

For some reason the only wallpapers that don't look terrible are the stockers.
I have a folder full of wallpapers from my HTC One (also 1080p screen) that work perfectly but when I try to use any of them on the Nexus it only lets me use about 1/3 or less of the image so it ends up totally stretched out and grainy.
I use quickpic to set my wallpapers. Go to your wallpaper via the app, and choose set as quickpic wallpaper. I usually get my pictures from zedge
