superb just reading up on it now, unrooting not that I want to just in case.
What was your original rom? If there's one on shipped roms from your provider, you may not need a gold card.
Have you got the original roms details?

Yes I have already downloaded the original one
RUU_Bravo_Froy2_UK_2.14.207.1_Radio_32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2_release_144166_signed
done that befor I even started rooting with it being signed that mean I dont need goldcard I hope so
If that's the same rom that was originally on it, then you wont need a goldcard
You could still create one tho! now you've been reading up. It wont do any harm at all.

All down to the helpful people on here or I would have a bricked phone by now ha ha. its these things you need to look into first and ask question, not jump right into it then ask the question or you asking for trouble.
Too right!!!

So I want to return my phone to stock I had the rcmix3d but now I have the standard 2.3.5 sense 3.0 which I flashed using the volume down and power. But i think my phone maybe still s off or radio off which may stop me from returning my device to HTC UK because of a hardware fault I just basically want to know how i can make the warrenty not void after rooting it

Um do you want to keep S-OFF or do you want S-ON? And do you want to root it or do a completely unroot?
Edit: you can root it with superoneclick if you already S-OFF.

go to boot loader and find out if it is s-off or not. depending on what you find, and what unlock method you used, go to that unlock thread, and relock it again.
I used ahhk and yes it is s off I want to s on

This morning I received a notification that an update to 2.22.401.6 is available. Currently I have stock rom (2.22.401.1) with root and unlocked bootloader.
Is it safe to download and install the update?

sure why not
Are you sure? Or only on stock rom I should not install official updates? And will it affect root and bootloader? And one more question, do you know what's in this update?

No, you should relock the bl, unroot and also flash a stock recovery ideally.

Well, I tried to install, but I received that - E can't find path - sdcard/download/update....
E can't mount sdcard/download/update....

I tried to install it. It doesn't work. It restarts to my Recovery and then nothing.
It wont install if you dont have the stock recovery.

Yes.
Over on a Spanish forums, it says the update just claims to enhance the system. No Android update
" Today it is with surprise that my HTC V ONE is brought to light in the version 2.22.401.6. The description of this version was only brief indicating frequency enhance the system. "
I installed it and can't notice anything different.
So this update is recent?

R: [Q] Missing PK76DIAG.zip during HBOOT
Nobody has that file. When you go to hboot it will keep saying missing file bla bla. Don't look at that, it doesn't matter
The reason I'm asking is because when I try to flash recovery it won't recognize my device so I did a little research and i found that it had to do something with that file not being found

That's a driver problem. Did you install htc sync?
Yes

R: [Q] Missing PK76DIAG.zip during HBOOT
Connect the phone in fastboot mode, go to computer - >manage - >there should be a device with our driver. Right click on it, update driver and locate it manually in htc sync folder
I'm currently at work but I will try this soon as I'm home

The aahk is retired. Some files is already taken down from server. Even if you can make it work by downloading those files from one of the thread here, there will be no support. Means that if there is something happen during process, no one is responsible to help you fix it.
However, you can gain root and flash rom by unlocking the bootloader. Search for ace root tool in devs thread.

You have to instal adb.exe and fastboot.exe and htc driver from the folder
