Gmail App Force Closing - Sprint LG Optimus G

is the Gmail app force closing for anyone since the latest update they pushed couple days ago? I get a force close when I'm in an email and click the little arrow in the top left to go back to the inbox...
EDIT: I tried force closing manually and clearing data but nothing, still force closing

Just tried to replicate it and sure enough it force closes on me to. Its not a huge issue though since I still have my back key on the phone. Lol

Been getting "Google Sign-in Error" in notifications.

Been getting this sign-in error in notifications for past few hours. Even though I'm signed into all my Google apps, and everything seems to be syncing alright. Still can't get rid of it. Anybody else getting this? Here's a screenie

Seems like a bug a lot of people are having (myself included). I'm sure it will be fixed in due time...
(btw this is Q&A, where's the question???? lol)
Yup, same here. I'm on the newest CM10 build.

Anyway, glad I'm not the only one.

If you go to settings, apps, all, open "Google Account Manager" and disable it, that will stop the notifications. Its a temp solution till Google fixes it. (its Google Now...)

I changed accounts in Maps, as I started getting this error just after the update. Switching to my second account, then switching right back fixed it for me.

Disabled apps not staying disabled after JB update. .

Everytime I restart the phone after jb update , all disabled apps enable themselves...anyone else seeing this? I really hope this isnt a feature, oh and the boot up animation seems to be a lil off with sound..

I have seen this once so far with the Zynga junk app that seems to have come in as bloatware. I will have to reboot again and see if it comes back again.
Yea it seems the t-mobile app and zynga keep coming back...
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
It appears even without rebooting they eventually enable themselves anyway at least on mine.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
Same problem here, just odin'ed mr.Robinson's no trip root, and used titanium to just uninstall the apps.. also had a problem with the Samsung keyboard forcing itself back to default on reboot as well, but a factory reset seemed to fix it.. sneaky stuff like that is sorta angering..

That update totally screwed my phone over.
I run a stock, rooted dinc 2. Last week the phone started hanging. I would turn it on and the clock was a couple of hours behind. Or, I would close an application and Sense would crash. Basically, something killing Sense randomly, and without that you can't do anything but power off and reboot.
I cleared the cache hoping that would help. No luck. Then I ran 'adb logcat' on it and noticed that Facebook was repeatedly trying to install a .jar and failing. This was burning my battery and crashing Sense.
I cleared Facebook's data and uninstalled it. Now, no problems for the last three days.

[Q] Facebook App Issues

This isn't really a phone issue, I just wanted to see if anyone else had issues with the Facebook app. It stops loading the news feed after using it for a few minutes. When you click on comments it will just load. And pictures don't display all the time.
The only way to fix these issues is to clear cache/data for app and force close then it works for maybe 20 minutes.
I just want to know if anyone had similar issues. I understand there are alternatives but I love this app. Also, it didn't use to be this bad but slowly got worse after a few updates to the app.

I haven't had those kinds of issues. Usually just clearing my RAM fixes my minor issues. Have you uninstalled and reinstalled it? May be a stupid question but it never hurts. Lol

I am experienced the FB issues also. I will try clearing the cache next time. IDK why I didnt try that out.

Facebook Home

If someone could post the new Facebook home apk I would appreciate it. Want to see if it can install or if we need to port.

Its not out yet buddy.
Wait till official release.
You should be able to I stall directly from Play. No need to port since GS3 is one of the device listed and its hitting the US first before it rolls out world wide... Give it a couple of hours

For those that want it..
Download APK for FB Home HERE
After installation of that apk go to Play Store and update both FB and Messenger (or just open FB Home and it will prompt you)
Mine keeps saying "your device is not supported yet" though. Perhaps the compatibility is with stock TW only?

Uninstall the current Facebook you have and use the two apks provided.
I uninstalled. As soon as I installed.
Biggest POS and waste of time if you ask me. To let FB be a complete home replacement, no settings to organize post from most resent. Its just horrible and looks like a battery drainer and a network hog. So if you're really passionate about FB (I don't see why anyone in the world would be) this is for you. If not, you'll probably just uninstall like me. Just my 2¢

Agreed. I'm running Deviant Xone and to have to unlock my phone twice to get to my Nova homescreen is ridiculous. There needs to be more settings options with this.

It would be nice if it was a stand alone app. That's the only thing that gets me, its a full home replacement.... Don't get me wrong its a beautiful UI! But I RARELY use FB. Its too much for me Lol
