There aren't really flashable stock ROMs.
Go search, you are definitely not the first one with that issue.
Need hints? Look for words like Flashtool, FTF, stock firmware.

Have u rooted ur rom? if u manually deodex ur rom now, u might not be fully deodex all apps. I would recommend u to flash a custom ROM for simplicity. All the custom ROM here are deodexed.

Yup its rooted but I dont want to install custum roms because none of them I find is sutible for me ...!!!
And iam wondering if i installed custom rom can I revert to the stock one...?

Sure you can.....revert I mean!!
As a matter of fact, you can revert to exactly what you have at this moment in time.
Have you got ClockworkMod Recovery....
if not, you must install.
When you have CWM.. you just got to make a Nandroid Backup...which is a complete copy/image of your current setup.
This can be restored at any time, bringing your device back to what is your current setup!!!

Thanks very much so now i think i will install the CWM recovery....but the problem is there is no good rom that meets my needs except arco68's rom but the cam isn't working!!!
Btw do you know a good custom rom you tried and was good...??

How do you come to that conclusion???
Please tell us, as you are obviously an expert!!!
What are your conclusions, having flashed numerous ROM's?? no doubt.....
You should be careful how you phrase what you say.....
you probably mean no offence....
but you have just offended the entire Voluntary Developer Community for this device.....
as in guys/gals working for us for no money,

Ohh my bad i didnt say it right will i meant i didnt find any rom that meets my needs thats all.
Sorry i think iam a noobie not an expert though i know too much about computer and android but not that good to be a dev.
And iam sorry i sure mean no offence....but you know what i mean like lets say....arco's rom is very nice except the most important thing to me is isnt working (the cam).
I really need the cam and i will want to have a an ics rom or a good rom and install an ics theme on it...!!!

hey everyone today ive decided to make a thread for the galaxy ace 2 Jellybean users to help awnser your problems and lags and what causes them, and to ask my own questions...
JellyBean 4.1.2 (Stock rom) having tried this rom ive currently found no problems other than that horrible lock screen,
if you switch it off / lock it (via the power button) and then switch the screen on again and you get a black screen
thus so disabling the usage of lock screen/sleep does anyone know how to fix this or am i just flashing the wrong/unstable rom...
if you have a stable rom for the ace 2 (GB & JB) please share :good:

thanks for the advice bro but ive tried cyanogenmod (10.1 &10.2) and there are some problems ive expeirinced:
does not show sim cart contacts (no matter what app or third party app you download) NOTE: this is one of the main resons ive left cyanogenmod.
slow boot-up,
and does not allow large file download (more than 200mb and i download allot of heavy apps... )
none the less im going back to gingerbread after months of trying sticking with jellybean to make it work one small problem....
i dont have ginger bread firmware for any european contry
and if you could tell me where i could find a dodexed jellybean.zip for just a little project
im not sure what to use anymore but im really desprete for a stable firmware even if it means going back to gingerbread
do you know any other STOCK firmware that i can use please any help will be apreciated!

deodex-only leak mb2(unless you deodexed yourself, i had problems so i stopped trying to deodex stock mg2)

After flashing stock rom,launcher stopped working!!!!!,,,I try all this method like clear app data,cache,,factory reset,,even re-flash whole stock rom but facing same problem...now i installed apex launcher...and it is correctly working..but stock rom launcher not working...i have no idea what is the problem ? please reply me if any one have solution!!!:crying:

u might want to check the rom itself... maybe there is something wrong with the apk itself

This is not the first time..when i flash stock rom,,,in past those stock rom working correctly..and i also download and flash new stock rom( pranjal18 link) for canvas 4...but the problem still exist...Third party apps launcher are working correctly....

Np Problemo
Hello,
I have a Galaxy S4 Mini LTE version and installed Carbon ROM Kitkat 4.4.4 from F4k (this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2642488).
Now I installed Tasker from the Playshop. I want to do a call forward with Tasker (triggered ny NFC).
when the task is started (manually of by the NFC app), Tasker claims that call forwarding was correctly done. However, call forwarding is not set up as it should, it seems that nothing actually happened with the telephone itself.
What could that be? possibly KK 4.4.4 is too restriced now?
Maby somebody has an idea, I searched and did not find a solution yet.

You should ask to carbon developer they may have an answer for you... Btw remember carbon rom is a custom rom and they could have some bug.. You should try an stock kk 4.4.2 for your model..

Yeah im on stock rom 4.4.2 and rooted use this one to root, this is for GT-I9195 abd works perfect on the new 4.4.2

This is the one for the original firmware rooting, that is why I am asking.

okeydokoey, so you just use the kernel which comes with the stock ROM? Or do you use another kernel?
I thought, that root is not really possible with the kernel of the stock ROM.

Yeah mate i did not use the kernel that comes with the root files i just flash the cwm and the rootkit and voila i got my phone rooted, try it and install some app like link2sd to delete some app or frezze some app and you will see that work with the stock kernel! Until now i still dnt have any problem with stock kernel.

Thanks for your feedback. I was waiting for a new kernel for KK4.4.2 of Stock ROM.
I will first try Stock ROM 4.2.2 to see, whether my original problem is solved by that. If so, than I may try version 4.4.2, need to check how I can install that on my phone. . .

Well i advice you something 4.4.2 its better than 4.2.2, 4.4.2 got battery improv. I can asure you that. Well then you need help to install it? I can give you the place to download the rom... Sammobile.com then firmware and introduce your model this case (GT-I9195) and it will appear the stock available for your phone!

hv u installed the lollipop look like rom
my wifi also stopped wrking man.... i tried every rom even stock... it stopped wrking... but it is only wrking on lollipop look like rom ... which i think made it stopped for other rom

Yes! I Have Flashed the "Lollipop look like rom" and stops wifi working on stock rom And Semi AOSP Rom v2
I Installed The AOSP Rom/ CODE AURORA(find on dhacker29's thread on Original A.D) and works normal, and CM11........

it is sure that it is not a hardware problem...
but why it is only wrking on lollipop .... aosp dhcker's and cm11 .... why not on stock and semi aosp....
