Case Mate Card holder for MT4G

Does anyone happen to have one? If so, does it work fairly well? Thanks

Don't bother, I guarantee you once you drop that the case will either crack or leave a really ugly scratch. Get a TPU case, it won't scratch nor break. My gf's has dropped her phone numerous times on concrete, wood, pavement etc you name it. And her phone has not one scratch on it, as well as the case. It's light and very slim so it's barely noticeable. Here's a video on it and links to where to purchase it. You can't go wrong with 4 bucks

No offense but how can you guarantee about something that you never used or tested. If you like something then you should share it with others but dont bad mouth other stuff that you have no clue about, I am so glad that you like the TPU Case for the phone and i am sure someone will read your views and end up buying it

I would like one but i just think $20 is too expensive for something that just holds 2 cards

i wanted it for that reason too, but i went with the clear hard shell that has the kickstand... let me know if you like it

mine? it's white

this case is alright, not anything to brag about, but it does what i need it to until i can order my TPU case...it slides on and off a bit too easy in my eyes, and the card holder is rather hard to get the cards out of...
out of all the options i have had my hands on, to date that is, this is the best option. BUT, i will soon have the TPU to replace it, cause that is the best case until the otter box comes out in a few months

Think this is a terrible idea. I thought that some components in cellphones, can lead to a loss of magnetictivity(a word?) on your cards.... I know I went through like three replacement CC's because I would cary them with my cellphone....someone mentioned that to me, I stopped carrying them together, and have had the same card now, and it still works...

this case is FREAKIN awesome!!!
ive dropped my phone a couple of times and it PROTECTS it aswell..
think if it as another back case but this time when drop it the case doesnt fly across the floor.
worth the buy!

I ended up getting the case. Been using it for awhile now. Hopefully what you describe doesn't happen lol. But I love the case so far. Just one complaint. Stuffed three cards into it and now the case is slighty loose when only holding two cards. So I try to always hold three cards. Other than that it was worth the 20 dollars. As far as protection, I have not dropped it yet lol.

It could happen but I doubt it will. My bro has a cc case for every iphone and the same card in the case for about 2 years now.

Had this case for the nexus one
It's basically the Case Mate version of the Barely There which is a very nice slim case
The profile of the case will be similar to a TPU case which is what im using now but the Case Mate cases are just made better than the TPU cases.
Notice how i said made better, higher quality, easier button presses (for all of case mate's cases even there tough hybrid which i had for my iphone 4 and my nexus)
for the most part i think case mate is a great company and if you have any issues they will send a replacement immediately, if you are looking to carry a cc and id and a money clip with cash this is perfect.

Love the card case got it in la for 20 bucks.no need of a wallet haha

I've had this case for a while now, it works excellently well for me. I use it to carry my id around so i don't need a wallet all the time. not the best protection ever but it does what its supposed to

i had the case too, it's not much but it's better then carrying a wallet. One advie, if you put your drive license first and then your credit card, it hold better and slide out easier. if u want protection go else where but all in one, this is nice

Here is my way of thinking about it. I never leave home w/o my phone. So i were to store my CWP and my DL with my Phone i KNOW that i would always have it. If i carry my CC in my wallet and i am robbed, w/o fear of my life or my family's life i am not allowed to pull my weapon. I can call and cancel my Credit Cards and not worry about Joe Dirtbag getting any of my information.
If i keep my CWP or my DL in my wallet and i hand it over. They have my information.
Yea yea i know give me my tin foil hat.
But i had my wallet stolen once and it's not fun trying to clean that ish up.

No, the sleeve from SPG is tight enough where if you held the pouch with phone upside down, it won't slip out. Thats with the naked device.

I have the original G1 case, along with this and they are both equivilant...where are you getting your info from?
In fact, I can't find any difference at all...makes me think that HTC may have contracted with that company to make the original g1 sleeve

the vendor I get fromis every_sell
i have been getting pouches from them for almost every phone i've had.....I can't find a difference at all...
I once bought a pouch for them and was about to give them a negative review because they state OEM....i emailed them saying I was going to give a neg review due to them stating OEM.
They told me that htc actually contracted with who they get the cases from to make it for the g1...so all they do is redesign it for the new phones with the same material and build quality, hence stating OEM
i would have given them a negative review it was cheap and flimsey...but It isn't....it is a little deceiving they state OEM when it isn't, but the build quality doesn't suffer, so i dont mind.....if it did, i would have given them negative reviews

Hey question for you guys who own this case. I've been reading up on reviews for the crumena (mainly on amazon) and there has been some complaints about the case actually scratching up the phone. The scratches are mainly on the side and more specifically the back of the phone mainly due to the ribbon.
Are you guys experiencing the same problem??

christian, I didn't even get a days use out of the case. After fighting with it to get my S3 to go inside of the pouch, I ended up having to use a razor blade to remove the stitching as the S3 was stuck inside of it. I was reimbursed by SGP.

Otterbox Armor Series

I was surprised to see that there was no thread about the new Otterbox coming out, so I thought I would start one. If there is already a thread, however, please let me know and I'll delet this one.

Besides the price, looks like a fantastic case. Does anybody know the release for this? On the Otterbox page, it says the iPhone 4/4s are coming out Feb 22nd, but does that include the GS3 as well? It seems strange than they would only release part of the series rather than the whole thing at once.

I think some of these company are a little too slow to get cases out. By the time you get these out, most have settles in on a case or moved on to the latest phone and they already missed out on a greater demand.

But a good portion of the public doesn't have to be on the cutting edge of technology and will buy a used or severely discounted gs3 after the gs4 comes out. For the simple fact of it's cheaper.

I was inform by the Malaysia distributor it be out somewhere middle next month for SIII and I actually paid advance lol well I was thinking it came out the same time as Iphone 4s armor series. Ordered one iphone 4s for my friend and siii for myself, only to be inform it was not out yet for SIIl.
Anyway I receive the otterbox armor for iphone 4s yesterday.. first thing I would say is.. Ultra Bulky LOL not that I am complaining about it (maybe a little) but it does feel solid even the material used felt good (Unlike lifeproof which claim to be military grade too friend had it and the case cracked after falling from his 10 ft or less staircase) it really has a military looks. I notice the shape is a bit like a square pyramid towards the screen top and not a straight square box like most armor case. Did the water test, car test, and drop test... not a single scratch :good:
My only hope is the SIII case would look less bulky then the iphone or it really would look like I be carrying a brick around.

That's what I'm wondering. With the other cases if something happens you call Otterbox and just have to send them a picture with your name written on a piece of paper beside your broken case and they send you a new one no questions asked. Im assuming its the same with this case but being that they are $100 each it maybe different. It doesn't matter where you buy it the warranty doesn't change.

Price was steep but I've been saving up for this case for a while now. I need a completely dust proof case and my Griffin survivor is great, but I'm ready for a change.

HHI Matte Back Smoke Flexible TPU Case for HTC One (M7)

Hello Everyone! I am a true believer in ThermoPolymer Urithain cases, and trust them to protect my expensive devices time and again. They have never let me down, and I have dropped my phone on concrete multiple times. Secondly, they previde a lip that goes over the edge of the phone, so when you set it on a table or flat surface, the screen won't scratch. The other good thing about these cases is they are cheap. Going to give this a shot and see how it holds up while I wait for some thing better. I ordered the phone from T-Mobile which included an exact fit car dock, so this would be perfect for easy removal.

This looks very good, saved in my wish list in case i get the One

Oh, mine is the smoke one. but the edges are clear not smoke.
I would recommend buying it even if you don't get the phone.. i mean it's $3 and it'll show you how big the phone is, how it would fit in your hand, and then if you get one you'll be prepared.
It's also not too easy to pull of.. I mean it's pretty easybut those speaker grills make me scared to pull it off too often

Just checking again. Are you sure they didn't ship you the clear case on accident? Your pics do not look Smokey grey. I would want the same you have on your phone. If I get what is pictured on the amazon link you provided I would not be happy with it.

I ordered the clear one and the back is a frosted, matte back not completely clear. I was kinda disappointed but I don't have the phone yet to see how it looks.

The case I got I knew was going to be exactly as it is. It's a see through light gray color. Clear is not a color, but smoke is a way of saying s gray color. It's gray, I promise.

We've had lots of problems with HandHeldItems in the past, so it's not surprising they would rip off our titles and description. Unfortunalely this kind of behavior is increasingly becoming the norm on Amazon. Cimo, Hyperion and HHi seem to be the biggest offenders.

?? Can you please give a link to something when making such wild accusations? It's not s handhelditem product, only the ****ty stylus was, if they did rip your product off, give me a link to verify.

Diztronic has been selling our "Matte Back Flexible TPU Case" line for almost 2 years now. The product name and title format is a direct rip-off of our listings. They have even "borrowed" our first and second bullet points. Their product however looks quite inferior. Since I'm the Diztronic Owner, I shouldn't post links to our products on XDA. A simple search on Amazon or our website and you'll find us.
It is HHI's product, they brand it right in the title. The reason they include the stylus is to prevent other sellers from hopping on their listing with a similar type product. A practice HHi is known for themselves.
Our "claim to fame" if you will has been our unique style of TPU case where the back is matte and the sides/top are high gloss. In the past year we have changed the design slightly so only the very top lip is gloss, and the back/sides are matte. HHi/Cimo/Hyperion have in recent months tried to duplicate this style with little success. The quality just isn't there. However, for the price they are charging it's still a good deal. They are only selling them at that price right now to build up the listings "relevance" (ranking in the amazon search results), as at that price they are taking a loss. Once the listing gets some sales and reviews they will raise the price up.

I received the clear version today and it fits perfect while showing off the lined and color.
It has a matte back but shows through just fine.
Well worth the cost.

ToastMade Wood Backs

I know a lot of people want a wood back, but can't find "official" ones for sale. Here is the next best thing, they are real wood backs that can be replaced whenever or if you want a new look change them out. They use 3M bonding on the back, boy is it strong as ever. They have a few different woods Walnut, Bamboo, White Washed Ash & Ebony.
I got the Bamboo for mine, man it's super nice, it went on smoothly...for the most part, since the wood was a little hard I had to apply a little heat to soften it to bend and bond. Also, if you decide to get it make sure you don't apply it crooked, because the bond is SUPER strong and it's A PITA to remove, you need to apply a lot of heat to soften the adhesive from the device, then peel it off.

If you want to take it a step further & make it more personal, you can get it laser etched with your design and that starts at $5, goes up depending on design.

Yea, I tried to take it off initially after I messed up alignment. It was a PITA, but it worked fine.

Yea, the logo is a bit of a downer. I'll have to talk to them to see about maybe removing it for a small fee? Otherwise it's amazing! The 3M adhesive is super strong & doesn't leave any residue.

How do the edges feel? I had a skin for awhile that was rather sharp for about 2 weeks until it hard worn down a bit.
