Hell guys I was just searching around and found this SD Box app its a nice app that gives you battery info, mobile traffic, Do No Disturb, App Lock where you can set password to the apps you want, also have a Task Killer, you can Uninstall apps, Move apps to SD card, and also clean the system.
Unlike the newer phones on the market that comes with some of the following apps already installed; if yours doesn't have any installed and you are just tired of installing each app for certain work, then this is the app for you. Its totally free, you can click on the link below to download it from the Play Store.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zdworks.android.toolbox&hl=en
I DIDN'T CREATE THE APP JUST THOUGHT IT WAS AWESOME, SO ALL RIGHTS GO TO THE RESPECTIVE OWNERS. BUT IF YOU LIKE IT, I WOULDNT MIND A THANK :good:

Hello forum, I just joined today mainly for the issue I'm going through right now. I have a Motorola Triumph from Virgin Mobile that runs Froyo 2.2. Lately, I've been getting low storage space notifications and it was driving me nuts. So I went on Playstore and downloaded Data2sd and to be honest, I really didn't know what I was doing. I launched the app, granted the superuser permission, and I created a 300mb partition onto my sd card. Then I selected data on the menu option and started selecting all the movable directories to move into my sd card. Everything seemed fine since I was keep getting the "moving succeeded" message, only until I rebooted my phone. That's where my problem is. I noticed my wallpaper was gone and the android launcher was keep crashing, not letting me do ANYTHING at all. I'm so frustrated and I really dont know what went wrong. Please help! I don't wanna reset my phone because I dont want to lose all of my important contacts! I apologize in advance if this has a simple solution, I'm still kinda a noob at modding android phones. Thanks.

If the contacts are the only problem, i believe you can backup them via ADB. Also, try uninstalling Data2sd. If you want a guide ask me

Do you remember if you had Debugging enabled?
By the way, did you try pulling put your SD card before booting, to see if it fixes?

Nevermind, i got it fixed! all i did was somehow manage to open my browser and download home++ beta launcher. Through that, i was able to back up my contacts and whatever I needed, and did a factory reset. That fixed the problem! now I've found a better app than data2sd and that is links2sd. That works like a charm thanks for taking your time to help

ROM Manager has been updated to correct a bug many of us were experiencing today regarding media on internal storage. For those who did not know, this was the cause and has been corrected. Everyone should update ROM Manager.

The update didn't work for me. Where should i manually modify files to implement a fix?

I can confirm that the new update does not fix the problem. ( 5.0.1.4 )
Go delete the .nomedia file from the root of the SD and check in android/data, there may be another one. If there is, delete it as well, update ROM Manager, wipe the media storage data, reboot, profit. Worked perfectly for me.
I reboot twice afterwards just to make sure, and all is well again.

+1 did the exact same thing
This almost worked for me. I deleted the nomedia file from root SD and there wasn't anymore to be found. It took a bit longer for sounds and pictures to be seen again, however the native music app does not see any music. Yet I can find it using astro file manager. Any ideas?

Trying clearing the data of the music app and reboot.
Don't have an option for that. Unless you mean to remove my music directory and then re-add it. 'Play Music' has no options to clear or perform any setting without a song actually selected. And currently it just offers a button to click to teach me how to pit music via USB.

Not in the app itself of course...
Go to settings and find the app in the app list and click it. You will then get the option to clear data.

It moves directories, so you can choose directories of specific apps/games or for example all games by binding /sdcard/Android /obb to the external sd card.

And is it running in background?
neither work for me. the GL to SD moves data but nothing else. the games still wants to download.
the other - directorybind - says i'm not selecting a valid directory. i used the internal browser in the app. guessing because it's set to extsdcard instead of sdcard.
doesn't seem to support JB going by that

You have to specify the correct prefix via the menu settings.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using XDA Premium HD app
what? that applies to the assistant according to the blurb underneath it
ok decided to let the assistant do its thing and it did move the data.
shame it did it in a totally useless and just moved it to another path on the same internal space! instead of sdcard>data etc, it moved it to sdcard>external_sd > etc.
so still on the internal storage, not the actual SD
basically, this thing doesn't work on JB yet.

Sigh... Really? My choices are rooting or AppMgr III? Grrrr
It would be soooo nice to have a high end device that did not require a new definition of rendering (as in put thru a grinder) before I was 100% happy with it.

Well rooting takes like a minute maybe. Samsung makes it hard to send apps to the SD card because they want you to pay more for more memory. At least its not apple and you get to have an sdcard.

For regular apps I use Gl to Sd. Been using it for several phones. Very happy. The free version might give you enough features to make you happy. But the paid is totally automatic.
Have not used it on the G3 yet, I am currently fine on room.
Yes tonik the g3 packs massive memory so no need to move apps
