Hi everyone,
I really need your help, I need a tot file for F180K so that I could return to the official stock version.
So dump of me, I flashed KDZ to convert it to E975 but i don't get a network signal anymore. I flashed back to korean rom, f180k20g (jb version) but to no avail, still the same. If someone kindhearted would generously provide a tot file for this device, I would greatly appreciate it.

I have the same problem with the mobile network. Now I try to download the new F180K201_00 and I'll flash it hoping that it helps....
But I have a copy of F180K10H_00 that suit you.
But a question. Did you try factory hard reset and wipe? Did you flash the right baseband?

Yes i tried factory hard reset only. I don't know how to wipe. I already tried F180K20G firmware but it is still not working. I haven't flashed any baseband because there is no available baseband img file yet for F180K. I already tried to flash anything from E97510a philippines or 10b HK version but still not working. I hope someone can provide a tot file so that we can boot back from scratch.
EDIT:
The only thing that I regretted is that I didn't back up the efs partition before I flash. If only I have learned about the freegee stuff earlier.

Hi I just found the baseband for all F180 models in a Vietnamese website, there is a file .bat to execute for all models.

1: You need rooted phone
2: USB debugging actived
3: Copy "firmware_f180k.img" in your internal storage
4: Connect your phone in LG software
5: In your PC launche "Flash Baseband - F180K.bat" and press enter
6: Accept the root permission in your phone
7: Press enter again and the phone restart...
I tried and it works very well

Yeah I tried it already but it's not working. Probably I need to erase everything first, CACHE and SYSTEM. How do I get to fastboot mode on the phone? Pressing Volume down + power only brings me to Factory Reset Mode.

Do an Factory Reset, it's goog for clean your firmware, so after root again your phone and following the steps I indicates

Yes bro, I think I need the ICS kdz first so that I can unlock my bootloader using the freegee. I can't unlock it using the freegee-beta for JB. I already tried the adb reboot recovery, factory reset, still nothing. Appreciate it bro if you can upload it.
I just convert my F180K to E975 EU , rooted the phone and flash the baseband , all is OK :good:

Is WCDMA 900 baseband enabled? (don't know is it possible...)

hello there senior member, i wish somebody could help me..my E975 got a serious problem..after ive done flash stock 4.1.2 jb HK version my phone rebooting as usual..but there is notification ( scanning media files..) appeared and its wont stop..this problem cause me:
***cant install any apps/store files on my phone >>notification appears..(internal storage full) or (wait for media scanning completed)..

hi there, i also experienced that kind of problem numerous times and i hope this method can help you revive your phone..
assuming that you already flashed your kdz.
1. do a hard reset (volume down + power button).
2. after boot, dont set up anything just shutdown phone.
3. go to download mode and reflash your kdz.
already tried this method many times and it didnt fail me, hope it works for you..

so many thanks fir the advice..ive done 3 steps u mentioned above but after reboot evrything just fine except ( scanning media files..) wont stop..when i connect to PC there is 0 mb storage..look like the storage stop function as usual..or partition lost/failed..hmmm..any method to try??

Just put ur phone on download mode than open lgtool.. Select recovery phone n insert ur imei than click 'check'.. The toll wil automatically download n flash ur original stock rom.. Tq..
What the original previous rom version of ur phone? I bought my phone on9 n its came with stock rom hong Kong version.. N now ive already flashing Malaysia (my country) stock rom..

mine was F180l, Korean version. I wanted to convert it to Israeli Version E975K, after doing so, I had the endless memory scan problem. later on I installed the European version, and then I had a different problem, text messages didn't work.

Already flashed using KDZ updater with E97510C package + hard reset, root, WIFI worked but my radio can't connect to any telco provider (it look dead).
Also already flash with baseband stuff as your suggested on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=42816713#post42816713 @ post #70, n reboot
But still can't connect using SIM Card.
If I re-stocked back to F180L korean version, all working fine.
need your advice..

use LGtool n select recovery..insert your IMEI then click check..the tool will automatically flash your original rom..tq

I also have this problem using any E975 International Stock ROMs. But when using F180K ROMs, I don't have any problems. But before, I don't encounter it.

THE CAUSE OF SDCAR PROBLEM IS A RAMDISK ISSUE. GOOGLE IT. ROM AND KERNEL SHOULD HAVE SAME RAMDISK.. IN UR CASE U FLASH A DIFFERENT ROM BUT SOMEHOW YOUR BOOT.IMG WAS NOT REPLACED PROPERLY. AND SINCE THE RAMDISK OF UR ROM IS DIFFERENT FROM RAMDISK OF KERNEL THERE IS STORAGE ERROR

cellphone shows IMEI # ..only without SIM
and when SIM is inserted ....IMEI disappears and no network signal

ULTIMATELY SOLVED MY PROBLEM ...with little expert advice from my friend Asad Rao
1- installed official ICS kdz (F180S10j_00.kdz) ...it solved the signal issue... phone was working properly ..
2- rooted the phone and made backup of efs (with App = "Optimus G Tweaker - G Tools" from Google play
3- Copy the backup file (08 file with extension img) from phone internal memory to my PC
4- installed the official JB (F180S20L_00.kdz) .....
5- rooted the phone and copied the efs backup files back to phone and restored efs with same app
6- Now everything is working fine

Your phone has been changed the baseband.
So just flash baseband again.

Download the file as the link above, extract it. Copy the *.img file that base on your phone version (L,S,K) to your root
Running the file *.bat that base on your phone version (L,S,K)

I had also this Problem but after Restocking to Korean Version and Rooting, Problems went away..

I cant find ics firmware for my F180s. I have same problem like you. The link you posted does not work anymore.

I have f180s ics firmware but I cant upload it right now. I will try to post it tomorrow
I have done downgrading of my f180L everything is working perfect and I backed up my efs but
when I upgraded it to jb 4.1.2(F180L20H_00.kdz), it didn't show signal then I flashed my backup and signal is OK but wifi gone.
am I doing something wrong?

Thanks kashif555, I'll appreciate it most if you upload the F180S ICS firmware as you have. As it is I'm stuck with a dead phone....it is as good as a 32GB ipod
I'm afraid I can't help you with your wifi issue at the moment unless I do some research on whether one could back up and flash that too.

I flashed the CN mod rom on to my korean f240k a few months ago because i wanted to remove the subscribed network notifcation but now ive decided i want to go back to a stock rom.
I have tried to run the restore on the lg support tool but they have updated it and it doesnt seem to work now, also the flash tool doesnt open on my windows 8 laptop..
Is there any other ways of completely resetting the device?

Easy, put your imei number instead xxx it the link http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=xxx and you'll see link to latest KDZ ROM file for you F240K. Download it, find KDZ_FW_UPD_EN somewhere here and flash your KDZ onto phone. You're fixed!

Thanks mate but when i tried the link it gives me an error. Doesnt load? (I changed xxx to my imei)
Maybe LG server is down.. Ill try tonight @ home

imei should be straight bunch of digits, 15 in my case, without any dashes - or qoutes " or `
it must work, this way your phone connect to update servers and downloads it's updates
Nothing works on windows 8.. Even in compatibility mode

I was on a custom rom when I started getting no network so I followed the best method to get to stock by a user (using LG flash tool).
I was successful & got back to as stock as possible, Problem:
the IMEI is showing as unknown, only when SIM is inserted !
WCDMA hidden menu settings change & save when there is no sim but with sim inserted they do not change & IMEI is shown as unknown !
Please help.

Ok , im a noob but i did what others said "impossible"
There was no logic in my method but i didnt gave up.
I used FlashTool.1.0.54 with a Brazilian carrier KDZ(my current Carrier) . - No sucess (i flashed a 989 kdz in my F240L, but i did that to try to recover modem and baseband data)
After that, as i had no sucess, i flashed the korean kdz ( F240L10v from the LGU carrier) but i did not wipe cashes and user data.
When i finished to flash the f240l my signal was back, but i got several crashes from the rom (i clicked "ok" more than 100 time XD ) but managed to enter system (i was kinda blind cos evething was in korean language) and perform a factory reset.
NOW EVETHING WORKS FINE, THANKS LORD !!!!
My advice: Dont give Up, try everything even if u tried it already...try again and again.

You have to be on download mode and your battery needs to be 100% fully charged, otherwise the update will not go thru. Good luck!:good:
Joining the pack here... Please help. Trying to download the Stock ROM for v10V right now. Phone came with 10Z originally or so I think. That's what comes up when I check the IMEI through browser anyway. Tried to put stock 10z and issue unfixed.

Cannot download v10V... link from lg-firmware not working.

Step 1: I installed Stock E980h Panama Firmware. Download it from lg-firmware
Step 2: Installed Stock Original F240L 10z Firmware.
Step 3: Jump, Roll and Jump again becuase it's working now and I dont know why. Ahahahaha!

What Brazilian fw did you use? what carrier?

this was also my prob 2hours ago. installed custom rom and a baseband that was linked to the rom. after flash i had bootloop, then restored my rom using cwm on the backup i made and it was successful but my imei has gone null.
so what i did was..
downloaded the right modem model from:
http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/Users/Anirudhks-OptimusGPro/Modem+Collection/ Thanks to anirudhks.
flash it on cwm.

Hello guys, so after spending a lot of time doing research on which partitions to extract to flash. I found out that the partitions on the link did the trick. I have 2 Sprint V50 same model one is rooted, the other is not, made the backup with Qfil from the non rooted and flashed those onto the rooted, that did the trick. Only use Qfil to flash partitions, do not use TWRP, it'll fail and your data will be erased to get it to work again!
The files are the one's I used, so I upload those to you guys! Hope it helps someone, if you have a doubt, just ask I'll be happy to help.
When I have some time I'll try to make a guide of it. If a new update arrives I'll update this post with the new files!

Strange I've never had any issue with flashing these in TWRP as long as I clear data/userdata. Then again I prefer starting fresh on a new OTA.

How can this be viewed on the phone?

Did you ever figure this out? I can't seem to gain root anymore with magisk flashed images... the system sticks at the lg logo... once I restore boot_a it boots fine

I just got mine fixed by remote unlock service in Ukraine in v50 telegram channel.... He only has internet on tues-wed but its a reasonable $28 to restore this device. Good luck

But... My phone won't go into download mode any longer. It did prior to the restore service. Also, I was not able to locate a kdz image for this phone.... Only the international version. Any ideas on how to restore download mode and flash a custom rom?

What happens when you try to boot download mode? I'm not sure which kdz you are looking for. If it is sprint, I recommend looking for the v50 sprint backup files shared on xda. It isn't kdz, but result should be more or less the same.

Nowadays, I can only connect via Wi-Fi calling while the cellular connection no longer works, so I'm guessing that T-Mobile is doing some IMEI-based blocking on their end.
