That ROM has gapps. Just wait for the DEV to update it. If you did not know that you should not be flashing radios.

Thanks for your info man.. I just want to learn man. I am not gonna flash radios for 2 reasons. 1. I dont know which rom is correct 2. I don't know how to flash radios. I am trying to learn but I don't know where to start. Maybe you can point me to the right direction that would be really appreciated

I use jedi x12 with perseus kernel and the updated modem.
Alot of devs leave out the modem so people on different carriers can flash the roms.
No need to flash a new radio.
Only reason i use the perseus kernel, i needed a kernel which could recognize my 64gig card.
Flashing the modem is easier than flashing roms
Once u flash the modem, you have to change ur APN settings. From epc.tmobile.com to fast.tmobile.com
Its all very simple actually, dont worry about it too much, just remember to make backups before u go around flashing.

Hmmmm, honestly not sure, just because idk if the stock rom file has the modem imbedded in it. I know for a fact x12 left out the modem. Whered you get the stock rom from? I dont see why u cant just flash the new modem regardless. Shouldn't do any harm

In Teshxx stock rom post the apn says it's supposed to be fast.t-mobile.com... Weird thing is I tried both ways and they both give me data. Anyone who has X12 and the new modem installed are there any other settings to change besides the apn name? *#2263# loses data set to lte only. I went back to automatic and data restored instantly.

Yeah LTE only loses data completely for me as well.
On another note, is it easy to go back completely to stock? I assume I would receive the OTA update then?

System Settings -> About device -> Read the "Baseband version" and it should say L900VPALJ1 because that is what the device shipped with
Now only if somebody can make an all in one that includes: firmware/baseband/modem that would be awesome!

It will automatically update everything without going back to stock etc. That way all we wait for is the updated rom with the new baseband/firmware based

I'll see about pulling the full modem image for both and making flashables. As for removing the checks on the ota, that might cause issues. You would probably be better off flashing joshbeach's stock LJC rom and then doing the modem update

[PATCH] *** N7105 AT&T and VZN ROMs on your SPH-L900 *** [N7100 works for ADV Users]
DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible for anything that happens to your phone. You brick it, you fix it!
This is a combination of work from scrosler and myself. I saw where Scott did this for the VZN GN2 and I modified it to work with the Sprint (SPH-L900) GN2 phones. With this modification your are able to flash N7105 ,AT&T (SGH-I317) and Verizon (SCH-I605) Roms to your phone. Both of those rom bases are confirmed working. Please make sure you do not flash modems/radios for the above listed devices. N7100 INT roms can be flashed using this method ONLY AFTER they have been ported to the N7105/i317 following madmack's guide in this thread. I can confirm that a port I just did of a N7100 rom works as well.
First download the SPH-L900 patch from HEREhttp://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=9390248398092764671
Download a stock SPH-L900 kernel from the bottom of this thread -- Perseus kernels work as well, found HERE
Choose a N7105, SGH-i317 or SCH-I605 rom that does not install modems/radios - The Swedish N7105XXDLL1 4.1.2 stock rooted base can be found HERE
Follow the steps to flash below:
Reboot into recovery
Make a full backup
Perform a complete wipe (cache, dalvik, factory reset, system) in TWRP
Flash the N7105 or SCH-I605 ROM you downloaded
Flash the SPR_GN2_Config zip file
Flash the Stock or Perseus kernel
Wipe Dalvik/Cache
Reboot System
If you happen to do exactly what I told you not to and flashed a rom that installed a modem/radio and you no longer can get signal, if you didn't brick it and can still boot into download mode, you will need THIS FILE to flash in ODIN to restore factory SPH-L900 specs.
WARNING: Data may or may not work if you do not change the mount point for the DATA partition to the correct one in the updater-script!
.

roms that don't have the modem.bin in the zip file. if they do, you can delete it and edit the updater-script and you should be good to go.

It didnt work with the MIUI they have on ATT. ROM installed fine, but no data. I did the procedure in the OP step by step.
Possible cause - I think that even thought it is Touchwiz based, it uses MIUI base phone and framework (I am the one who got data to work on the port by lbx_mobbin_1 by tweaking the framework)

The zip replaces all the csc data with sprints....thats the main difference on these phones. Other than that, they are mostly the same. I have flashed a lot of crap on it from other carriers, so not too worried anymore.

use lifeless, venom, or imperium those are your stock based choices found in the development section...unless you go with the actual stock rom... majority of our ROMs right now are aosp/cm based.. I might have left out a stock based choice... if I did it's cause those are only ones I've flashed

Thanks so much for your quick response. I noticed that most of the ROMs are in fact CM AOSP or AOKP and my flasher said neither would work. Going through the recent posts of ROMs I noticed most didn't mention what they used as source. So I figured I'd ask.

honestly I don't know... but do somee research on flashing to another carrier not just for this phone but others and see if they are able to do it... but all in all if they say don't do it I wouldn't do it... no telling what/how they're going to flash you to another carrier so I would take their advice unless in your research you uncover something that debunks indefinitely what they're telling you

Hey I've been running this ROM on the sgh-t889 with little to no problems. If you want to be on the current version (3.1.1) flash dn3 v1.0 first and then the latest build. I check n7105 in aroma and note 3 launcher only and it works for me.

Go into the note 2 ATT forum for the download link. Theres instructions on how to flash inside the Dn3 thread. Install it & flash the T-Mobile modem. The apns for T-Mobile is already on there. Just when you first boot it up close the setup and you'll get 4g. I'm using it right now

Thanks, did you update to official 4.3 before you flashed DN3? Or did you just jump from 4.1.2 to DN3? Thanks!

I updated w/ the official 4.3 update because I don't have warranty anyways so I didn't care & plus it got rid of the WiFi and data drops.

Why port it? There's no difference between porting it and flashing it w/ the new modem. You'll get the same results except for maybe one feature that they dont have is WiFi calling.

That's a pretty important feature for me. A port that included this feature would be awesome. Can you, or anyone, recommend a way to perform wifi calling on att roms?
Can't find the 4.3 modem for t889. Also do we flash tmo modem and kernel with dn3? Should tmo users download the LTE version? Matter of fact, it'd be nice if someone with experience flashing this on the T-Mobile t889 did a step by step instruction.

I'm sure there's a link floating around somewhere. I dont know where it is. I didn't flash the kernel, but i did flash the modem. And download the first one where it says something about AT&T i317 v2. or something, its something similiar to that.
