There is no direct way that I know of run the lg mobile support tool to return your phone to stock and then start the guide over. This time take a look for my post regarding the kdz error under windows 7 and my solution.
LG MOBILE SUPPORT TOOL: www.lg.com/ca_en/support-mobile/lg-P930

Ill try again but usually it stops at 30% and says their is n connection error.
Yea when I try its says problem with communication between cell phone and PC

Ok try this in this order:
1. Un-install the LG drivers and the LG support tool.
2. Reboot the computer.
3. Reinstall the LG drivers and LG support tool.
4. Reboot the computer.
5. Plug the phone back into the computer.
6. Wait for windows to finished installing all drivers (usually about 15 min or so).
7. Right click on the P930_UDT_v18f_04112012.exe and select "run as administrator".
8. If you are still having issues try a different USB cable or USB port.
Edit: One more thing that just occurred to me. This error can also be generated by too low of battery. But since the phone doesn't charge in download mode I would recommend powering the phone off and charging on AC before proceeding.

Just to piggy-back on that:
* DON'T use a USB Hub to connect your phone to your PC...ALWAYS directly connect whenever possible.
* If your touch-buttons are flashing, you're battery is low and you WILL have problems (I found this out the HARD way). Makes sure you're using a charged battery...As already stated, Download Mode DEPLETES your battery (irregardless of it being connected to a PC).
Good luck!
I tried that and it still didn't work...The battery is charged, I tried a different usb cable and its directly plugged in the pc
well I fixed it ....It might have been stupidity on my and probably was...But anyways When I ran the KDZ I never let it finish because of the error it would show but it still flashed afterwards. But at least people will know now to ignore the KDZ DLL error

As I saw in oneof your other posts you are using a GM750. This isn't even the same phone as the eXpo or IQ. You're not going to be able to flash one of these roms to your phone. There are hardware differences and software differences that prevent this.

It's not impossible to flash the GM750. You need a rom that was made for that phone.

When that happens it should still go into emergency download mode even though the screen might not say it. Try it again and run the update.

I cannot complete the flasing process im using windows 7 an cannot get pass step 7 as windows is unable to install the drivers properly. Is there a way to manual install the drivers ? The phone will go to the emergency download screen and the comp just says "driver instalation was unsuccessful ". Looking in the device manager i can see the LG USB MODEM with the ! of a failed instal. Any help would be much appreciated.

The drivers do have their own installer, you should be able to find it in one of the sub folders of c:\users\all users\lgmobileax
thx xdapants i did find the drivers but this did not fix the issue. It seems to be a connection problem with phone and comp (a common problem it would seem) do i`ve orderd and am still waiting for a new cable and hope this is the simple fix im looking for. However, if like i suspect this still does not work can i flash from memory card ? i think this was possible with the htc kaiser (best phone ever) or if not can i flash over a bluetooth connection ?

I don't believe it's possible to flash an lg phone from the memory card, at least not at this point. And as the phone needs to be in download mode, flashing over BT wouldn't be possible.
Consider trying a different USB port; ideally on the opposite side of the computer if you haven't already.
Hopefully the replacement cable will work for you. It seems to be the phone doesn't like being used as a storage device, but that shouldn't really have any bearing the download mode connection.
Im trying to flash my IQ to the latest Dragonstorm ROM and got a error with a load of Chinese characters and something about a server error. Did i miss anything? I got it to see my device and it was put into emergency download no probs. I just a bit reluctant to not wanting to brick my phone
did you extract to the correct location?
So I used ROMmanager to get clockwork recovery mode. Now when my phone entered the recovery mode it just say:
"Fastboot mode started"
"udc_start()"
If i connect my USB cable to it it says --suspend--
Now i tried using KDZ_FW_UPD in Emergency mode to restore original firmware but it cant find the phone. The log is:
[R&D Test Tools Log File]
10:50:59 : Launching SW update
10:50:59 : Unpacking KDZ
10:51:14 : KDZ file extraced

10:51:17 : Port = -1
10:51:17 : Connecting to phone
10:51:17 : PHONE WAS NOT FOUND!
10:51:19 : ===FINISHED===
I tried this procedure on 2 pcs but no luck. It seems that my phone can't connect to PC with usb cable.
I installed LG Moblie United drivers and disabled the lg modem thing in device manager. I am using Windows xp Proffesional SP3.
So does anyone has any clue what I am doing wrong ? If u need more info just ask.
Maybe if I try from some linux distro it will detect my phone ? But what tools to use then ?
Use fastboot to recover the phone. Check the wiki at the Troubleshooting section.

I recommend using drivers latest version. Last time I checked, United Mobile Driver was version 3.7.2 release 4.9.8.1 and Modem Link Driver was 1.0. I'm providing links for download from my personal Dropbox folder because I don't remember from which LG site I downloaded them from.

Didn't I said i did that ? My PC wont recognize my phone in fastboot or emergency mode, with fastboot being stuck at udc_start() and when i connect USB it says "-- suspend --" ,
I tried this guide madmanzrocks still dont see phone.
deleted lg modem, reinstalled all usb hubs, tried 10 versions of LGunited drivers, used both official update tool and kdz nothing works(can't detect phone), and also tried from cmd.
My problem isn't how to unbrick but rather why my pc won't recognize my phone :/
So, no feedback (USB Device connected sound) when conneting the phone? I assume you have tried all ports available.... Long shot, but maybe the phone's USB connector is dead... You have some background on electronics? If so, you can follow the service manual I reposted recently at the General section to check if the connector is gone (p. 113).

as I mentioned the same problem was solved bu connecting the cell phone with the battery removed. But if even that doesnt works for you, then maybe there is a fault in your PC. Does your PC instantly recognizes USB Pendrives? And which OS are you using?

I can try.
First start fastboot v2 on your computer.
Load the recoveryimage amonra or cwm5 (not cwm6)
Start flash so it say searching for device.(or something like that)
Plug in usb in computer.
Start your phone in fastboot.
Plug in usb in phone.
If that don't work you can try to instead of start phone first start it with usb cable.
Can need to unplug usb and plug it in a few times if the device say suspend.
Hope it helps.

Up to this point i tried all the methods you guys told me and some i found myself. Nothing worked for me as my PC stil won't recognize my phone, I have also tried all this methods on 4 PCs(2 had windows XP Proffesional SP3 with all the updates, and 2 had Windows 7 SP1 with all the current updates installed(note that 1 version was 32-bit and other was 64-bit).
My conclusion is that the USB connector is DEAD, even thought i can still charge my phone trough it. I probably won't be trying to fix this anymore as I've found an 4th gen iPod and i'll be using that from now on.It is true that i can't make calls(at least not the standard way, you know, it doesn't support SIM cards), but i have my old dumbphone phone for that and this will be used for just about anything else.
So thanks to all of you guys that tried to help me but i fear this is unrepairable. If anyone want's this phone I'll give it to you for free so you can have some fun cracking your head to see what is wrong . I only ask that if you find a way to fix it you post it here and notify me about it(send me pm).Otherwise do whatever you with it.
I have solution

I had the same problem
1.You must have LG P350 drivers
2.Install KDZ updater
3.Download LG P350 software (I recommend V10c)
Now I will explaine steps
1.You have to charge your battery to 100% (Just leavit on charger in fastboot mode)
2.When you connect your phone to PC hit Start,go on devices and printers and disable USB Modem (Win 7)
3.Take your phone, get the battery out, then hold vol+ and vol- at the same time and plug in USB cable
4.Then you should see cheesy color screen(emergency mode)
5.Put the battery in
6.Open KDZ updater,put Type:3GQCT PhoneMode:Emergency
7.Browse downloaded software in your PC (V10C)
8.Hit ,,Launch software update"
Then just wait max.20min and your phone reboots that is it my fried
If triangle apears on screen just get the battery out and put back in
Let me how it went,or for help on [email protected]

Hey, I'm having issues using the FlashTool after managing to softbrick my device with an uninstall app. Basically, I installed an uninstall app, removed some bloatware and on reboot I'm stuck in bootloop hell, never getting past the LG logo.
Okay, fast forward a couple of hours, downloaded the drivers, installed them and changed the port to COM41, installed the FlashTool on my Win8 laptop, downloaded the tot-file and the correct dll (D855). Fired up FlashTool, got the phone into download mode and the files verified fine in FlashTool, unplugged the device, then replugged it, download starts, but then fails with message "Can't change to download mode".
Any ideas of what could be wrong?

Okay solved it by moving the Cable to a port on the dock instead of the port on the machine. Both ports are USB 2 though.

Yeah, those USB docks always cause a lot of trouble. It is always reccomended to plug it in a port directly onto your motherboard or atleast the actual PC case.
Bingo!
Same issue, the USB port in the front of the case wouldn't work but one directly to the motherboard on the back did! Watching it download now! Woot! :good:
Recently after trying to upgrade my LG G4 to android 6.0 by flashing the zips in recovery, I encountered a boot loop. I have tried many thing like using the LG Flash Tool, I also tried booting into recovery and restoring a backup I made, but none of this made any difference. Please I need help.
LG G4 H815 android 5.1.1 or 6.0 (not sure) I'm not sure because I tried to flash the zips fro android 6.0 via recovery and didn't work, then I restored my phone and tried to boot up but that failed to work as well.
Try to use the LG bridge tool.
Start lg bridge.
Connect your device while off with your usb cable.
It will start - nevermind, just keep it going.
Use the "solve update issue" option in the bottom right corner of the software update screen in lg bridge.
It will reinstall 6.0 without data loss.

Wich method?
I have the same issue.. I send my phone to the repair center of amazon. Let´s look what they can do.
Not necessary, in bootloop, just connect usb and start lgup, when it detect it, (and it will as unknown mode device) tap com port it was found on and ui will open, then click on phone info, it will connect and establish a valid usb connection to phone and open new prompt with phone info...... Then start adb command prompt and enter 'adb reboot recovery' and bingo you're in recovery.... Solves every bootloop!

Can you boot to recovery? Should be the power + volume down combo until the logo comes up.
Alternatively,
Have you installed ADB and fastboot drivers?
Can ADB see your device when you're plugged into the computer? Perhaps you can get into bootloader mode through ADB if so.
Connect LG G4 to your computer.
On the PC, access the Android SDK folder (download it if you don't have it).
There, open a command prompt window by pressing shift + right click on any blank area.
In the CMD window, execute the command " adb reboot bootloader " without quotes. If you haven't enabled USB debugging, you may be out of luck.
Tried but not working
Hello, Friend Thank you very much for your time and efforts while typing this to help me out. I did but still doesn't recognize took the owner. Technically the phone is dead.

1. Point us to that dubious unlock app please!
2. Very very often an issue occurs because a user do not use the correct commands or important error messages are thrown and the user do not show. So please write EXACTLY what you do. For example the exact command to proof the connection (e.g. "adb devices") and the exact result. easiest and best way is to just make a screenshot of anything.
3. Another example is how to you try to get into download mode? There are some guides which do not work so explain what you do always helps others to help you.
I use the following method:
Pull out battery
Plugin USB cable connected to the pc
Press vol Up and keep pressed while putting battery back in place
4. To avoid driver issues you should consider to use FWUL ( https://tinyurl.com/FWULatXDA ) for anything else then kdz flashing (this requires windows)
.

Hi, Thank you very much for taking your time and energy to answer me. I used Z3x to Factory the LG G4 (T-Mobile) I wanted to flash it by downgrading before to see if it could work. this is how I break the phone with the downgrading. So now the phone is not recognizing by the computer as Modem when I plugged in, I see it only as External Drive.
