HI guys, I want to know how can I have s memo for the galaxy w. I'm a new member, so can you give me a guide, please?
If you mean the one with the s pen and you want to use it with a pen, I believe it is not possible. The pen will not work with our phone. If you are talking about just an app to take notes etc. someone maybe can port it.

Every new samsung flagsh*t phone obviously have s memo. SIV even had moar features.

Try this... Although it was ported for Nexus, it is just an apk. So if it does not work, just remove it. If it does work, ENJOYYY..

I saw this today in the Galaxy Nexus forums and thought this was pretty slick looking. I tried to flash the AOKP version for the Galaxy Nexus but you can probably guess it didn't work too well haha, was wondering if anyone could port this for hydrogen rom/CM9?

It's use modified SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk... so it's rather difficult to make universal version, it's so much ROM and theme dependence....
but it's worth a try....
I'll try to port this over the weekend!
Pretty simple if we just stick to the rootzwiki and the porting guide tutorial!
There are apps out there that do that and they all take up your notification bar except for two, TASKXP and MultiTasking, I use TASKXP on all my devices and love it
Please don't port it, we don't need WP7 look-alike crap on our phones. Multitasking looks better as it is.

Really though they should strip the features out of Touchwiz 4.0 and include them in the roms. Either that or debloat Touchwiz 4.0 and make it look stock.

I think its the update script causing the problems if i had to guess i looked at it and i don't think it needs to mount the partition that you have in it. I have disected alot of files and don't remember seeing this partition being mounted like this to install apps. Just a guess though I am not a professional developer so I could be wrong.

OK. Progress report. Found the conflicting libs causing no-boot. Removed them for now, but that will cause a fc most likely. Its probably due to hardware. I'm going to merge the lib files later but just want to test the zip without them.

Would it be possible in any way to port the GS3 camera app to the 4.12 leak and use the zip on that?
I would try myself, but i have no knowledge on deving at all.

Yes. That was one of my plans. Thus mod should work better on the leak. I'll use all my porting knowledge to get it to work.

I just flashed [CAM-MOD] ["Note 2 Camera"] 24.09. 30Mbit/192kbit/Hardkey-Vol.UP/SLOW/FAST-MOTION to my Omega 44.3 ROM an now its not getting past the boot screen.

You're talking about the S3 ROM while this is the S2 thread, but to fix it just reflash the Omega ROM

there is one in old version of henry's Rom but changing audio or brightness force closed it so yeah

Well. I think he means to theme it like in Samsung ME7 where there's 3/4 different tabs at the top. Like personal - system - ui. Yeah you get the point!

Settings with tabs is present in every Samsung 4.3 ROM for S3.

Maybe because when this thread was opened, in October, there was no 4.3 for our S3.
