i have htc one x, cid: j__15, Middle East version.. with viper x jelly bean custom rom.
at the first time it work very nice and stable but one day later it dont receive calls and it makes a reboot each time sombody call me...

You can switch to any rom you like. Also go back to viper. First its to see if the problem also persist with another rom

problem with kernel/rom or whatever
im having a problem with my setup:
im running icecoldjell v 3.5.1 with the ncx kernel.
hboot is 1.36
everything works fun except for one thing :
the g-sensors are not working - no automatic landscape modes nor games, which needs g-sensors (e.g. templerun).
any ideas what happend to my hox?
is it because of the kernel or are my g-sensors bricked? i dont know :/
sorry for my bad english, but i really need some help from you.

Make a backup (in cwm or twrp) , flash a sense ROM with JB and try it again.
Then you see if the sensor is bricked or not

i tried out cm10.... no changes... gonna flash insertcoin now and if its still not working i try out stock rom

**** ! my device is 4 days old and the g-sensors worked at insertcoin...
are there no possibilities left to try out?
dont want to send it in for repair...
hey guys, i called the htc support and asked what i can do to fix the problem.
he then said, i should completly reset my phone, go back to stock rom and then should call him again if the problem got fixed.
did it and worked :laugh::laugh::laugh:
the problem was:i installed a jb 4.2.x rom on my hox before and because of changing the sd card from /sdcard to /0/sdcard some files were missing.
complete reset- now working and also the g-sensors are working at aosp-based roms again

Last week, I've been messing with my phone to the extent that I somehow deleted my stock ROM. Now i'm running the CM10 Nightlies. Although it's a really good ROM, I miss my stock ICS Htc Sense ROM. So, I started searching for it online and found this website. To find it, type "htcdev 2.17.111.3" and its the first link that appears. Click it and it will take you to a download page. Notice how under the "Type" column they all say CRC. I cannot understand if this is a ROM download or whatever.... Considering how I have no idea what I was doing... Anyways, What's the difference between CRC and RUU. Is the CRC not a ROM download? Can I not get my stock ROM back? If not, Can you guys help me get it back my version is 2.17.111.3

CRC = source. The file on htcdev is the kernel source code of the T-mob branded One X. That isn't much of use...
Aww, well this Cm10 is really nice. Though I really miss my sense stock rom
i have an hox which cannot be upgraded but all i can do is use the ics version ..sadly i been searching for HTC SKYDRAGON ICS V 4.0.0.zip and it seems to not exist to download anymore ...if anyone had this can u please upload the link so that i can download ..thanks in advance

cannot be updated because my phone version and my cid no are two different things and i am stuck because of that ...and there is no other phone that has same problem and had a nanandroid backup

First of all, some more information is needed:
- are you GSM or CDMA?
- is your Bootloader unlocked?
- are you rooted?
- which Rom?
- which Kernel

I use GSM and I haven't unlocked the bootlander neither had I rooted my mobile...I use Ice Cream Sandwich stock rom and kernel thanks fr ur reply

I'm really sorry, but, that's the way hov is working if you didn't do anything to improve it...
If it will bother you too much, and if you know at least basics, you can easily unlock, root, put another rom, mods... and you'll have "a new phone". Until that steps, you'll have to be with what you have... Sorry...
You can find a lot of tutorials on XDA, read them first, then, if you will decide, try them... Not necessary mine...
From what you wrote, one would have to suggest that you send it in for warranty repair

Try to do a factory reset. That can help.
But for most of the part, this problem cannot be fixed.
You can even try some other ROM and see if the problem persists.
I have htc desire hd after soo many sleepless nights i was able to root it and tried few roms (android revolution cm11 cm10.1 soo on) finally oxygen rom suits me . I want to know details about this kernel thing.Am attaching screenshot of my phone .What exactly this kernel is and which will be the best kernel for my phone ???
Before rooting my phone battery back up was 3hours max with using wifi or mobile data but after flashing this rom am getting around 6 to7 hours backup .
help me out whats best for my phone

You can try svhd rom new android(4.0.4)new kernel,new sense 4.1 and is better for battery life.

am downloading it anyway ...All i want a is bettery backup nothing else because my stock rom sucks big time only 2 to 3 hours battery backup . Oxygen is okay i can live with it .

SVHD rom was cool i tried but after few hours facing phone hang problem it stuck suddenly then i have to pull out the battery
am download blackout rom ..
if u know any other good rom let me know

I can tell you who is better becouse is custom rom.
I try meny roms but for me soul rom is better,you can try z74 is the last version improve battery and kernel and is in english.You have link up.

You need to full wipe an then flash new rom,do you have s-on?If you have you need to flash boot img.

dude i flash your soul rom n i loved it i made up my mind to have it then after few minutes its disconnecting from charging or usb ....when i switch off my phone then i can charge but when i charged when its open its discharging not able to connect to pc too any solution for that ?
