Hey guys
I just had my bootloader unlocked and flashed AOKP and CM ROMs
In both cases i am stuck in bootscreen (HTC logo).
First time i had a nand backup of the original Firmware but i was so intelligent to format my SD card, and now even that is gone.
I'm not getting the device booted, Bootloader and CWM are working.
Its a german HTC DHD with a vodafon brand.
Any Ideas?
Greetings
Julian
Edit: Done, flashed boot.img via fastboot.

Help!!!
I rooted my phone then installed clockworkmod recovery v3 (not sure if it is actually there)
I installed Radio S-off but upon getting to the bootloader I see ENG S-off
I used ROM Manager to flash the Android_Revolution_HD_2.0.13.
I ticked the wipe data and cache but didn't tick the backup existing rom (noo!)
Upon rebooting it is now stuck on the HTC logo screen =[
I got into the bootloader screen and tried the following:
*factory reset -> ended up going to the HTC logo again
*recovery -> goes to HTC logo again
pretty much choosing any option = HTC logo
I've tried formating my SD card but that didn't change anything
sniff sniff
Help please!!!!!!!
Are you running clockwork mod 3.0.0.6? if not, update to that and that should fix your flashing problems. Not more than 2 hours ago i was in your same situation
Are you using the dhd from telus or elsewhere?
Oh, I believe I installed 3.0.0.5
How do I update to 3.0.0.6, I cannot get into the recovery menu =[=[
I've been stuck with this problem for the last 4 hours XD, I'm reading all the forum threads to try and find a solution
Oh yes I'm on Vodafone
Are you able to start the process over again?
just search clockwork mod 3.0.0.6 and there is a thread here with a zip file you can download and upgrade to ver .6

Can you get into recovery? try flashing the ROM from recovery and see if that helps. I have seen many people who say that their DHD is stuck at boot screen. And almost all of them have used ROM manager to flash the ROM...so i do not know if there is something going on there with ROM manager (which it should not).
Before flashing you should have made sure that, you have Eng S-Off. Read this if necessary:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=857537
try pasting PD98IMG.zip on your SD card again, boot the phone into bootloader, and let it install that zip file again.
if that doesn't work, turn your phone off and take out the battery, then put it back again, and try again the above.
it worked for me in a similar situation, I hope it will help you also.
Thanks everyone for your help!
I was able to get past the problem by downgrading to cwm 2.5.1.3
After 5 hrs at it I was afraid that I would end up with a brick phone!!
xxo!!!
I had the same problem yesterday...moving down to a clockworkmod 2.5.x fixed the issue for me as well. Glad you got it sorted out.
Can any pls help me. my htc desire stuck on cyanogenmod boot logo. and i noticed that when i go to hboot, security is on (s-on). pls help me bring it back to Stok ROM. i would really appreciate you help!
Have you just flashed a new rom? If yes flash again. If you just flash a new mod, flash again. In other words, redo what you just did.
i falsh this file Bravo_WWE_2.29.405.5_initd.zip it didnt work. and i tried this PB99IMG.zip one too. i tried using the stock RUU exe file that runs only on windows. still nothing, it wont recognize the htc desire.
appreciate you help
What actually happened is that i revoked my htc desire. and install rom manager then i downloaded cyanogenmod 7. after 2 days i downgraded to cyanogenmod 6 it automaticaly restart and went to the cyanogenmod boot logo then it wont pass by to load. then when i saw the hboot the security is turned on.
is there any possible way to flash a new rom?
Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster!
I've just installed the InsertCoin v20 on my S-OFF, CM7 Hboot HTC desire, and it has been stuck on the htc screen for ages now.
I've reflashed it many times, including the radio (32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2), the recovery (clockwork v3), and the rom. nothing seems to be working.
I have a feeling it might have been the bootscreen I flashed - I flashed the original HTC boot screen from alpharev website.
Does anybody have any ideas! I did a full wipe before flashing this rom (I came from Cyanogen 7)

Does the rom fit the cm7 partition table? If it's too big then the phone won't boot, though Iffr think recovery should still work in that scenario.
Also check the md5sum of the boot image file - search on Google for a free tool for doing this.
Are you able to boot to bootloader?

Insertcoin should work on CM7 hboot, so they say, so it's some other problem he's experiencing I guess. Maybe he forgot to make an ext partition on the SD card...
CSharpe you hit the nail on the head...I completely forgot to make the ext3 partition on my SD card. It was driving me mad last night, I only wish you had told me sooner, I was up until 6am sorting it out!
Thank you!
Hello
This is my last ditch attempt to fix my HTC ONE X, before I resign and send it to HTC for a repair. The phone was rooted and locked to T-mobile UK when the update for 4.0.4 came through 2 days ago. I downloaded it OTA and installed the update. After the update had installed the phone was in a bootloop. It kept loading the home screen and rebooting.
I have tried the following with no success!
Initially couldn't get access to recovery, but when I reflashed recovery I have no access to the sd card. The drive shows up on my computer when connected via usb but it says there is no drive connected and all my files appeared to have been deleted, although the reset folders are visible! So can't transfer a custom ROM and flash.
I have reflashed a boot.img and now the ONE X doesn't even get to the home screen it just hangs at the htc splash screen.
I have also relocked the bootloader to flash a RUU. This hasn't worked either. It appears to be working and the phone screen turns black with an install icon, but the RUU stops after approx 1 min, says it's completed, but nothing has changed on the phone.
This has been a nightmare and am just about to package it up and send to HTC and accept any charges for rooting!
Please help!!!
Can you get the phone in hboot/fastboot ?
What do you see when you enter
Fastboot devices or adb devices ?
If it works unlock your bootloader again with the unlock token.google the exact fastboot command, don't know it for sure now i'm on my phone.
Reflash custom cwm recovery (5.8.0.4 if i'm guessing it right) you can mount sd card within recovery
From there flash a custom rom again.
Flash kernel from the rom and install it with a full wipe.
Think it's your best option as far as I can see now
If your bootloader is locked and you have a stock recovery you can not flash anything
Verstuurd van mijn HTC One X
Thank you for your reply.
I managed to finally get access to the SD card and transfer a custom ROM. Which I flashed and the phone is working again!!
Thank you for your help!! So relieved!
