[MOD] AOSP notification bar for KH3

If you don't like the Samsung icons for the notification bar, and you like the stock gingerbread icons of the notification bar, this is your place.
The steps are very easy.
1 - Download/open a root file explorer (Root explorer for example)
2 - Download the SystemUI.apk in your phone. (if the archive is compressed in 7z, decompress first)
3 - Copy the apk file into /system/app (check that Mount R/W is enabled), when ask if you want to replace the stock SystemUI.apk, say Yes.
4 - A lot of force close appears, no problem, reboot the phone
5 - Enjoy

Have you rebooted the phone? When you replace the notification bar, it disappears, but you must reboot the phone to get again the notification bar.

What I meant was when you pull down the notification bar, the bottom half is see-through..
If you could make that not transparent
that would be great

Is possible status bar like CM7? You can select what shortcut to put, if long press they go to his settings... Maybe if copy cmparts.apk together?

Hmm, my ROM is odexed, I tried with default .odex together and without they, but don't loaded the status bar, any idea to run in stock ROM?

I tested only the apk with the stock KH3 and it works ok.

can you make wifi + battery to turn green for odex KI3??

Hey Dudes I m back
With very small modifications
As the title says it
14 Toggle Quick Panel with Heavilly modded Touchwiz 3 for Arkas 1.5 Einherjar
Don't know the 14 toggle Quick Panel works with other roms or not but the touchwiz launcher works with every rom
Touchwiz Features
1.Page indicators at bottom like Tw4
2.Semi Transparent App Drawer
3.Auto Hide Page indicators
4.No icon background or tiles
5.Added dock background similar to tw4(u will think it is transparent but its not)
6.List View Added which was removed in stock Gingerbread roms by samsung
7.4 icon dock
8.No bugs uptill now
What is removed
Page indicators are just to show pages.They cannot be used to directly switch to page by clicking bubbles now
THE 14 TOGGLE IS STOCK THEMED
The framework is stock themed with some changes like battery icon and lockscreen button icons
Extract the zip and manually place the apk's to there respective places through any file manager with root access and give rw-r-r permissions.
delete old apk's first.
Sorry I don't know how to create flashable zips
If anyone knows how to create flashable zips then please upload a flashable zip of this mod

The touchwiz launcher works on every rom.bt u will have to try 14 toggles on stock by urself. If it works then tell me.Bt first backup ur framework-res.apk and twframework-res.apk.

Launcher will work 14 toggle will not work.

thanks the launcher works great on stock 2.3.6, but my contact and phone icons not changed only home icon and since i uninnstalled my mms.apk so i don't know if it icon changed, did u know why?

Dude You will need to change the icons yourself in the apk.They cannot be added in the launcher

Application not installed. USB Doesn't work atm so i uploaded to 4shared and downloaded, installed to internal, doesnt install

U have to copy the launcher to /system/app and overwrite it then set the permission to rw-r--r--, then reboot

Haven't yet applied now i am thinking

Thanx for making sim buttons small
but I think its using the same space as earlier..v need more space for notifications
and lockscreen wallpaper not changed in update also

Lockscreen wallpaper is not as default one
Even the Sim Icons are been small not the layout ) I haven't yet managed ... I have just Removed the carrier name

in balli's rom ... theres a Shortcut maker .. Find Lock Screen and it'll create up the Shortcut on Desktop

this theme is epic ! perfect for me ..
continue it....dialer msging contact. etc

Sorry for replying late
Well if you are on Xperia Rom you won't be able to change other pulldowns as this rom containts 23toggle mod + some other mods for xperia rom only this pulldown is available

you could disable from settings the lockscreen text .
go to settings > lock screen > lockscreen option > uncheck the "show text on lockscreen" or something like

i'm on xwlsd odex ,but i'm usig this tool http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=43130585#post43130585 to re-odex and it work 've already do multiwindows ,extended-menu and other for xwlsd odex

i suggest you to download a custom rom based on xwlsd and extract the secsettings and framework-res from and flash on your phone and see if the problems are gone

you can try my modded frameworks + settings and see if it'll gonna fix your problem
my framework you can download from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=43518996&postcount=65476
and the settings from here http://d-h.st/LPK
but you need to delete the .odex files for the respective apks

To replace the text decompile framework-res go to res/values/strings search for 'of' or whatever is currently showing and replace with what you want. Decompile....done
Edit - nevermid i reread the post and you said there is no framework lol

yes if the wanamlite rom doesn't have the ink effect activated

I solved it by doing me the mod ink effect following this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2034565 and everything is back to normal

can any one tell me how to get transparent notification bar on nexus 7 3g (jdq39)
i have searched almost every forum available for transparent notification bar...but till now i have got nothing
except that it has some lines to be edited in super_status_bar.xml
so please if any one have any idea about it..tell me i will edit the lines on my self and test it and if succesful i will upload it as well.

but you r using a custom rom. i am talking about having this feature on stock rom. not that feature in settings. just having the system ui modified

xcept that .png part rest all i have tried...but it doesnt work...i really need this transparent notification bar...i hate this dark notification and navigation bar...and i dont wanna use any custom rom

You must not change any png files.
The only things you must change is: (Thes file MUST be deodexed)
android.policy.jar
--> /com/android/internal/policy/impl/PhoneWindowManager.smali
SystemUI.apk
--> /com/android/systemui/statusbar/phone/PhoneStatusBar.smali
--> /res/layout/navigation_bar.xml
--> /res/layout-sw600dp/navigation_bar.xml
--> /res/values/drawables.xml
