[MOD/PORT] CRT-ON to galaxy SII

Hi world
i could port the CTR-ON to SGSII,
actually it is different from the source i got , but with some modification and addition it works 100% on SGSII
so first of all thnx to [email protected] for the source
for the ppl who don't know what is the difference between CRT On & Off, it is the same beam that u got on off-screen , but this time u will have it once u on the screen too.
it is different from JKAY mod
this one is built in in the system
now , i made this one compatible with 2.3.6 ROMs, but it should also works with 2.3.5 (NOT TESTED YET)
also I added the needed modification for those who like BLN for SMS, so IT will work also with them
all what u need is to move my file to system/framework, and reboot
it should works fine
note that this mod is only for DEODEXED ROMs
and last,, DON'T 4get to hit thanks button

hey man thx for u ur great mod first of all proud to find an arabian wit such talent and sec can u make a mod for 2.3.5 and 2.3.6 espcially kk5 that includes both on and off crt without pixel and make thier install easy just install through recovery thx and plz try another mirror cuz the onee u privided is delted thx

if u can't understand this is normal and can be happen to anyone
but if u can't read so this is a disaster
If u read the OP again with ur eyes then u will know that this mod is different from jkay !

Does this actually do the full effect or only shows the last image like jkay?

i don't know about jkay but this will get u exactly the negative of crt-off
edit: i.e the full effect ,, i port from HTC

Dont understand what you mean by built into the system. But mine is also built into the system. I actually did not add anything I just enabled something that was already in the system.
But I will take a look... Hope that you fixed the crt effect.

well, UR modding is like creating a new way to handle the whole system which is intelligent
u didn't release source to know how to handle it
but as (user) it is as like as 3rd party application
in here it is in the system core
i hope u got my idea

try crt-on if it is working i will make it reference thread for CRT/ON/Off for all ROMs starting from 2.3.5

Nope its not working. Im running Gingermod 0.7 and thats got Jkays mods already built into it, which i suspect is the problem.
I pushed your service.jar file to system/framework, got a message asking to replace, clicked yes, disabled CRT on off in Jkay mod and rebooted.

Again i gotta say iam tottaly proud that an arabian like me is such a great dev the rocks thx allot man wish id become a great dev like u one day

this theme include
- extended power menu
- thin progress bar
- black button with white text
WARNING :
- this theme will replace SystemUI.apk and may be 14 toogle mod became no work or FC (not tested)
How to install
1st DO ALL WITH YOUR OWN RISK
- download the file
- place to sdcard
- enter ClockWork Mod Recovery
- select "install zip from sdcard"
- select tehe zip file and apply
- its recomended to wipe cache and dalvink cache (NOT DATA/FACTORY RESET)
- reboot to system

have tested in Kezra Value Pack V1.1 with 14 TOGGLE BUTTONS from *fender90* but after flash it dosnt work the 14 TOGGLE BUTTONS.

Hey dude, can you tell me exactly what you have added/modified to insert the extended power menu? I mean smali files and lines, images in the framework..
I'd like to integrate it in my 14 toggles mod.
Maybe if we work together we can make something nice come out

i cant do it right now, i had an exam.
may be i can make it for xxlm6, but i cant do it fast, my mother will be angry if i waste a lot time playing pc.

btw, u mean cache is the partition cache ???

can someone help me pls, after i flash this, the screen off effect (old tv style) of bionic2 rom is gone, how can i restore it while maintaining this ICS theme? is it possible? Thanks in advance

Yes, i've made modded this HAM from Megabass, & only for personal use, not for distributted, i dont want you close this thread but may please remove the Audio Manager in here and change with other i dont want make a mistake here, if you not know about this, look at FB group Hyperion Thanks..

- it take time to stablize

Guide for newcomer to flashing
i assume you know how to flash kernel and know what is bootloader and recovery
first , download the ROM, KERNEL , from provided links
Connect your phone and Flash the KERNEL [in Bootloader] you should see "Fastboot usb" there, open cmd, type " cd C:/your fastboot file location" like mine is "cd C:/Android" Then type
fastboot flash boot kernelname.img
then reboot to recovery and flash ROM , , MODS( if u want)
you are done reboot and enjoy

This happens, when the phone needs all of the configured Swap Space - so the size is not sufficient in comparison to your usage of the phone. Just raise your Swap Space or configure a second Swap Space on a different partition - the new Aroma even supports Dual Swaps as well as Triple Swap.

AFAiK Data and system swap usage doesnt get used , its there for backup incase Cache swap is full

I dont think crossbreder work with turbo boost .. but u can try . About the Super SU . I don't have much clue . As I'm not a good porter

its not conflict with dsp manager as we can choose dsp manager or dolby sound as default sound effect,
how to do

3. go to recovery n wipe dalvik cache and cache partition then flash dolby sound mod .
4 go to setting/sound and tap dolby as your sound effect...
you can personalize your choose via dolby apk..

not this one mate, as this mpd modifying fw jar and manifest from dolby .if you know how to deccompile/recompile i can lead you to port it to s3 mini

sadly its not work bro, you need to decompile again fw jar and ds.apk to make it work on outside markox89 rom.
will try to port it to other rom when i have time

Anyway, it would be nice to find a way to implement this on all cm11 builds, I'm sure you're going to have great support from others too. The mod is flawless (you could let the demo on though) as it does it's job and sounds better than regular dsp manager. thanks mate for your feedback. to be honest i like to make it support all CM rom but its not possible at the moment as to make dolby run its need to be decompiled and added some line inside the manifest of ds.apk . the short word its need build again when firmware is change.will figure out the way

is that base stock tw rom??? if so then it won.t work. try it few time before but dolby always crash on kitkat but its work on stock either custom base jb 4.3 .test by me

sadly it won,t work bro. as before im using kryten rom that using same base as you use. looks like samsung has change few thing or many thing with audio effect configuration on stock kitkat, because i already use dolby since 4,3 on custom base stock and it work. didn,t find a way to make it work on stock/custom kitkat samsung yet
