Hi everyone,
Do you guys know of a mod that allows me to get "long" notifications? I cannot for the life of me remember which ROM I used which would display the whole SMS intead of just a one line notification. I really liked it. Mi girlfriend just got her HOX so I would be installing it on both her phone as well as mine. I've tried looking for it in the forums but had no luck. If any of you have any info on a mod I'll really appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance.

Hello all... newbie here, so please don't bash me too bad. I've used a ton of your ROM's when I had my Hero, and now that I have my EVO, I'm excited to try some more. I just got mine several days ago, and until someone gets a consistent rooting method for the new build, I'm gonna wait to root it.
However, is there a way to skin the dialer or lockscreen while stock (unrooted)? I'm not a developer, so that may be a dumb question.... but, I was hoping someone had a skin that looked/acted similar to the iPhone dialer.
Anybody? Thanks in advance.

Hi all,
This is my first post on xda so please move it to the right section if this isn't it.
As the sgs2 doesn't have a notification led I was wondering if there is a possibility to have the soft keys flash upon receiving a text or an email and so on.
Reason I thought id suggest it because my other phone the lg o2x has the same issue with regards to the led and there is an app for that.
I am willing to buy it from the market to support the developer of course.
What you are looking for is called Backlight Notfication or BLN and as far as i know the kernel for the phone needs to support this. Since the SGS2 is fairly new there isn't a kernel with working BLN yet but most of the kernel hackers are looking into this feature. I'm sure it's coming, it just needs some time.
Hope this answers your question even if it doesn't help you with your problem.
Thanks for the quick answer. I just thought id put it out there.
It's not really an issue since most ppl prob check their phone regularly but I think it would be a nice addition to have it think.... Especially at night when you don't really want to turn your phone on every few mins to check for a notification
I miss this as well.
It seems to be rly complicated to implement, as some ppl are working on it for quite some month (!) now and still there's no BLN available… I hope that some day we'll have it nevertheless…

Well, if you consider that these people do it all in their free time then "month" suddenly isn't that much. Also this is probably not a top priority in the first kernel releases. These will concentrate on speed and stability, before new features are added.
Patience is a virtue, especially if you don't have to pay for the finished product

Hi, since im new to posting on XDA Forums, i have to ask my question about the phenomonal X-Rom here...
Firstly id like to take the time to say that this rom is exactly what ive been looking for... its fast and stable, something i sorely need due to health issues (the ability to access medical info without my phone rebooting or force closing is paramount). Not only that, its also very professional looking.
My issue with this hitherto great rom is this: i cannot seem to find options to customize the notification bar and currently im sporting two battery percentages.
I've searched the forums and found no answer, thus far.
Im using a Galaxy Note 2 with X-Rom, everything set as default from the aroma install, including the theme.
Thanks in advance.

Must be there under Settings > Display > Notification Panel
and for display of the battery percentages, Settings > Display > Display Battery Percentage
Hope you get what you wanted.

Hey guys,
I just bought this phone and have been running cm10.1 on other phones for so long now that i don't know if what i am looking for is a feature of the rom or android feature. Basically when i get a message, I am able to click read reply or call under the message in the notification drawer. Is there anyway to install this feature on optimus g pro. I am actually going to try to stay stock for a bit. Thanks
Hello. Sorry if this is a noob question.. I'm new to xda, love reading and learning from people much smarter than myself, and thank you in advance for any assistance from you guys and gals. Anyways, I have a T-Mobile LG g3, rooted, Stock rom with xposed. I came from a Nexus 4 and loved to tweak it. I absolutely love my g3, and have never had an issue with setting up the phone to my liking. But I can't seem to find any info on how to use the volume buttons to zoom the stock camera. Maybe it can't be done (yet), but I also may be missing something. Any advice? Thanks again, and to all the devs out there that make tweaking a phone easy for a noob like me, keep up the good work!
