I was following a guide on how to upgrade my HBoot and it said I need to download the correct firmware for my phone, and for that i need to look at me cid. My cid is currently 11111111 and there for im not sure what firmware I need to download. How can i know what my original cid was or if someone could help me update my cid. My phone is a HTC One x AT&T.
Wrong forum. Your device is actually the HTC One XL. The XL is the dual core LTE version.

Does anyone have a nandroid backup of T-Mobile UK 1.26.110.5?
I seem to be having a few issues getting hold of the ruu for this version.
Cheers.

Why not just grab RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_TMO_UK_1.26.110.2_Radio_1.1204.90.13_release_251224_signed.exe and then update?
Because the ota only works with 1.26.110.5

I know that some branded phones get the updates when the provider decides to , but what if I got my HoX from a 3rd party store and sim unlocked if it matters?
When will I get the new ota?

if the phone is unbranded you will get the OTA as soon as HTC push it out in your locale

There is a CID number in each phone. Each OTA or RUU includes CID number checks to determine if it applies to your phone.
You can use CID Getter to determine your CID number.
And see this post for a list of known CID numbers.

So I guess HTC thinks I'm from Germany as my cid is HTC 102.
Anyone knows if Germany gets the ota first/last?

best way to know is by visiting here my friend. no one really knows when HTC releases the OTA...if you see in the general section in the One X forum saying new OTA update is here then you know you will have it asap since you are unbranded and unlocked
i have HTC__102. witch RUU do i need to go back to stock?
Hi All,
helping a work college getting his One X working with Foxtel on the telstra network.
i have a HTC one XL purchased thru Telstra it worked fine with foxtel app and foxtel thru m.bigpond.com until i install cleanrom. i would that changing some values in build.prop to reflect telstra and htc one xl it worked again.
can anyone on telstra with htc one x confirm if they have been able to get foxtel to work and what method they used.
Telstra + one x = XL.
Wrong forum mate.

Did he say his friend had a One XL?
Telstra only seems to sell the Brown-Black One XL, the 4G variant of the One X. Go to the XL forum.
Hi, I have an international One X on telstra and tried the Foxtel app, it won't load, but when connected to my WiFi at home it worked fine.

And he's asking for Telstra users opinions and this would be the XL Forum.

No he did not ask for one xl users.
He specifically asked for one x users on the Telstra network so he's on the right place and as a One x user on the Telstra network I have to say: sorry, no idea, don't use foxtel on my phone
I tried it again at a different location on Telstra network and it's working fine.

Sorry. I thought Telstra only had XL.
Glad you got it sorted.

No worries...
To be honest, I think Telstra does only sell the One XL but some of use have bought the One X outright and are using it on their network.
So I have a telus m8. When I had a note 2 it was the same as the at&t variant. Is that the same thing for the m8? Also should I go gpe or stick with a sense build?

I was told the telus m8 is under the regular m8 forum. I'm guessing it's the international forum? So would say all Canadian m8s are the same but don't take that for gospel.

That's correct. All GSM m8 are same for custom Roms.

So just to add to the confusion, you are saying that not only the Roms in One (M8) Android Development will work on Bell/Telus M8's, but the ATT and Tmobile ones will also work?

I received a ota update 2.6.651.11. After updating my software went to 2.8.617.4
I too have received an OTA for the unlocked version of the m9. Software version is at 2.8.617.4. What I can say is that it's definitely a lot more smoother; especially if you have your recent apps in card view and you start swiping the them away
