ok.. so heres why i made this thread...
here lately there has been a upspring in development... some is ready to release some needs testing... i myself dont have the time to flash every single build i produce ( just not enough time or battery).. so what i propose here is for anyone that needs something tested post links here and we can get (hopefully) people to test and post results/issues without having to hunt down testers or make a new thread for something that doesnt work or something that doesnt get worked on constantly.....ill do my best to add things that have and havent been tested to the op that are posted within the thread....in fact ill go ahead and start it off
now be forewarned most likely what gets posted here will be untested/unflashed material..(in other words flash at your own risk kinda [email protected]#$)
illusion rom for the geehrc4g_spr_us (4.2.2 aosp based rom): [use same flash methods as you would when flashing a new aosp rom...meaning wipe it all people (but not internal storage or data/media)].......search goo for spleef then look for the illusion rom or direct link or use dropbox link: http://db.tt/fZppy1Yx.. rom is built from source using todays illusion and teamlgog sources.. if all i well will make a thread for it...
Illusion rom.... Flashed/booted/running great... thread link:.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2377269
carbon ROM for the geehrc4g_spr_us (4.2.2 aosp based rom: [use same flash methods as you would when flashing a new aosp rom...meaning wipe it all people (but not internal storage or data/media)]. rom is built from source using todays carbon and team lgog sources..iff all is well ill make a thread for it

some screens of working tests
I couldn't find an official thread with the stock CM 11 for our Hercules, so I thought I start one. Let's get one thing straight I'm no developer I'm just passing on an official thread for CM 11. Here I will provide direct download links, change logs and anything else I can think of. So with that let's get started.
My hope of this tread is for an official thread about the CM 11 directly from CM site as well as for smarter people than I and other community members to ask question and get answers from fellow XDA fourm members. Also lets keep this thread clean so make sure you use the search button before you post. If a moderator doesn't like this tread just let me know and I'll delete it.
CM is an open-source alternative to the stock firmware that comes on your device.
Features
-Stock android 4.4.2 KitKat
-All CM features
-No bloatware
-And much more available for CM Team.

Hey, why we need this? (android_frameworks_base)
50-cm.sh: update comment to CM11 (android_vendor_cm)
cm-11-20131224-NIGHTLY-hercules.zip
I'm not responsible for this work the CM team is I'm simply making a device theread as I couldn't find one that is not modify by say team chopsticks or a added custom kernel
Also your warranty is now void and I'm not responsible for anything you do to your device!

MOD REMOVED
If you are going to distribute a rom please familiarize yourself with the proper procedures in creating a rom thread. Also with all the proper compliance in posting source and gpl.
In the essence that you just want to share your find and information then a simple information thread posted on the General section telling users about where they can locate this Rom.
I have edited and removed your download links and moved this to the proper area. Please familiarize yourself with the rules regarding posting in the Development sections.

Have a great day!
VanirAOSP and Commotio Android MM 6.0.1 for the SPH-L710
Credits go to Team Vanir and DHO for the development of these roms.
Disclaimer : Use these ROM's at your own risk and please don't blame me if you brick your device . If you are new and don't know what your doing please don't flash these ROMS until you've done your research , read through the thread, and made yourself aware of previous known issues. THIS THREAD IS FOR DEVELOPMENT AND BUG REPORTING ONLY EVERYTHING ELSE WILL BE IGNORED. Use the Q&A thread for questions and other issues.
Note for mods: I am taking over for MonstaDriva, if this thread presents an issue or there is a better way to do this let me know.
This thread will be updated as I remember to add things.
I do not have this device, therefore I can not test any builds. I am also not known in the Vanir/Commotio community yet. This is my first time maintaining a device, I will probably screw up, a lot, until I get practiced at it. Because I do not have this device, I am extremely reliant on bug reports by the community, therefore if you are not reporting a bug all other questions or issues go in the Q&A thread. I REPEAT THIS THREAD IS FOR DEVELOPMENT AND BUG REPORTING ONLY EVERYTHING ELSE WILL BE IGNORED. This is to keep this thread clean so I can keep track of what needs to be fixed.
The following is required if reporting a bug, everything else will not receive a response and the bug may or may not be ignored.
Reporting a bug:
Read through the whole thread. See if bug is already reported
Read through again.
If bug is already reported, provide link to original report, add your logs, and any extra information that expands upon what is missing.
List rom. EG. Vanir or Commotio
List build date
List official or unofficial
Describe issue in detail. All know facts
Steps to reproduce issue
Logs. Any and every log imaginable. Eg. Logcat, kmesg, dmesg, etc.
Read through the whole thread again
Anything else that will help diagnose the issue
If you can satisfy all the above requirements then you may report a bug.

Good luck with everything!
Looks good. Lrs121, for not having this device, you have definitely done a lot for it. Thanks bro.
I was honestly expecting this thread to explode with comments. Well I've gotten a new wireless card and can begin attempting to push patches if anyone thinks they may be necessary.

Vanir run's so good usually that there's seldom any issue even when other devices are having them . You are sort of like the infamous Maytag Repairman Bored for wanting to patch . Sent you a pm .
Anyone install this yet?? Screenshots would be cool...
I JUST reverted back to Wicked X 4.4 because the new 6.0 Roms i've tried (OctOS, AICP) have the exact same issues with phone calls, audio, and especially BT. They're usable, but barely. Takes too long for calls to answer, and it's buggy....after answering, they'll still appear to be receiving a call haha. They're heavily based on CM13. Dunno how much AOSP. If someone had a screenshot of their InCallUI with this ROM that'd be awesome.... if it's different I'd go ahead and wipe 4.4 again to try it.
EDIT
If there's a Q&A thread, I couldn't find it....Im sorry to be so noob but, should I just make a new thread? Again, such noob but, would it make sense to make a thread in QA titled the same as this thread, and link to THAT thread in this thread's OP?

The qa thread is meant to be made but it seems it hasn't auto generated. I plan to make one as soon as I get back to my desktop.
