Any root method working for 4.1.2 yet? - Sprint LG Optimus G

i have tried the fiddy method of gaining root access, and even though the terminal bat file tells me "root succesful" i have no root access. so i search through the forum, and there is a lot of version difference that seems to confuse me a bit.
i am hoping someone here could point me in the right direction.
my phone is international/EUR no att or sprint or any of that american phone company scam stuff.

REQUEST: Please Create a Bootscreen with this Image

Hi all, I came across this interesting image. It's a GIF and I thought it would look great as a bootscreen animation. I would do it myself, but I'm not exactly savvy with this and I'd rather not cause trouble with my phone. So, if anyone would graciously accept my request, I'd be quite grateful.
This is the image:

I'll make it for you when I have time.

[Q] Please help to remove menu on Galaxy Note 2 SHV-E250S

I bought a Galaxy Note 2 (i605 Verizon) but by mistake I got a Korea version SHV-E250S instead. I do like it though but it has a black menu always appears on the home screens as shows in the picture and I could not find a way to remove that menu even I tried all of the Setting and I do believe there must be a way to do so. Does anyone have an idea?

ES Explorer not working properly with Rooted Stock 4.4.4

I have been trying for a while now to get the APK for S-Note to install on stock 4.4.4 and fails every time I try. So online I found another way I could do this is to use root explorer thats in ES Explorer. The problem is the copying to anything on root fails even though the root option is enabled in ES Explorer and my phone is rooted. So my thought is that maybe the file explorer is messed up or something. I know the APK for S-note works because it worked prior to me going to stock from another customer rom. Any suggestions?
Did you mount system as rw?

I don't remember seeing that as an option. Where in the app do I do this?
Tap on root explorer, not the button, then you will see this screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Go to mount r/w, then select rw for system
That worked, however I am getting a describe error. It says there is a problem parsing the package. I am not understanding why this APK does not work. The icon looks normal when its not in the system app folder. When its copied there I see the the android gremlin thing sitting in a box. This is extremely aggravating because I know this worked on 4.4.2 just fine.

You mean the mount rw thing? That part I was able to do. Even when I set it back and reboot the app does not show up in my app drawer.

[GUIDE] Use TWRP through ADB Shell

Dear user, we hereby say that any damage or brick created by following this guide shall not give any fault on us. The requirements for this procedure are clarified and we take no responsibility for bad usage of this.

Dear XDA community,
Straight from the efforts of user @LastStandingDroid, here's a way to flash a zip file or some other operation in TWRP if you cant access some part of the touch screen due to it being broken and not detecting touch, for example.
Requirements:
A toaster wich can run Windows, MacOS or Linux. (joking on toaster part)
ADB Drivers (if needed, you can find something here) - this link is only for windows users.
TWRP installed (follow this guide for installation)
Minimal command knowledge
We will use as example, a flash of a zip file to get root on a Umidigi Z Pro:
Open command prompt;
From here, change directory to ADB Directory (cd path/to/adb)
Now type "adb shell twrp install path/to/zip", being the part path/to/zip the actuall path to the zip file you want to flash;
At this point, you should get a screen where every step of the flashing process will be shown, just like when flashing through TWRP. And that's it.

And I certainly agree with his statement (telegram) while there was almost no info about how to flash zip trough adb and the echo update command did seem to fail. Or maybe I did wrong I don't know. I find this great if the echo command fails
This made my root come back when something broke it

I have access to a super primitive recovery mode, in which twrp doesn't seems to boot.
When I use
# twrp anycommand
I get:
TWRP does not appear to be running. Waiting for TWRP to start . . .
Press CTRL + C to quit.
Is there a way to "start" twrp from adb shell ?
It's worked on my PH-1,thank u so much
