Maybe you have problems with the reciver at the behind cover of the phone, have some gold metal parts, it do of reciver.
l have a frien with a Sensation that have that problem, is because the cover of the phone cant contact the reciver module on the board of the phone.
Other is maybe the software, try to restore to stock, my stock rom dont have any problem with signal.

I am currently having an issue where I almost always have 1x. When I used to.always have 3g. Verizon said there are no outages, and i am having this issue in about a 50 mile radius. So its not just 1 tower. If I start to use data. The signal on the top of my phone will.flip back and forth from 1x to 3g constantly once a second.. but it.won't show any data moving. I can only use data from WiFi. This is happening on.newts incredible sensation ( previously worked ) and the incredible hd sense 3.5 ROM. I have tried 228 option 1 and 2. And VZW isn't really helping. Anyone have any thoughts? I tried searching but didn't find anything similar.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Yes sir. It worked. Thank you! Can't believe I didn't think of that before. LOL. But 722 works great.

I've been having the same problem, both at my parents house, and at my dorm (a small town to a large city as far as cell coverage is concerned)
I've ran both the shipping radio, the second gingerbread radio, and the current 722 radio and the problem still persists for me.
Was happening on OMGB, however i'm on gingerbang 1.7 and it still persists, even after a *228.
Do i just have a bum phone?
I am not rooted but I am almost always on 1x and not 3g. Extremely annoying when my old samsung rogue (verizon) had awesome reception. What gives?
Im not rooted, so anyone have any ideas?

Reason being, just in case you didn't know. The back cover of the Incredible2 is your antenna pretty much. WiFi at the top, Data at the bottom. Those gold connectors needs to have good contact.
Try it, take the back cover off and watch your signal drop
Today i dropped my one x on the flor and after that my WiFi reception is weaker, can this be true?
Update: I tryed squeeze test ad WiFi signal goes up 2 bars and then drops I guess that antenna connection is damaged.

There are no visible damage on him, so I will send him back to the HTC repair shop. I will tell them that it was faulty from day one.

Earlier today I noticed I had no signal, now I'm at home and the signal is still nothing.
I'm on Vodafone, just wondering is it Vodafone or my HOX the reason I have no signal?
Really getting Pissed off with my HOX now, issue after issue.

Most probably work going on, on your local mast , if it randomly just done it. The hox originally had its defects and problems, now they've been ironed out in the new 2.17 update, its just flawless!

O2 mast has been pretty much none functional for the last 3 days.
Google for a service status normally they provide you with a web page you can out your post code in and see what's going on.

Put your sim in another phone to rule yours out!
Check Vodafones website they should have a current status type thing. I'm on Voda as well and whilst in London signal is good some other places it's notorious. Was down Portsmouth last week and had major network issues down there, usually sitting on g most the day and this resulted in severe battery drain!

For the past few months, there was no issue with the wifi reception of the phone whatsoever.
But liked for a few days now, I've been experiencing low signals lately.. At home, usually, the connection is excellent. Now, it's just too good to poor.
I don't know what's happening. I've tried reflashing the rom, flashing the kernel, and its still there.. Any insights?

Have you tried the squeeze test? My phone got this problem a month ago, must send it to HTC.
What squeeze test?

Which rom/kernel do you use?

This is a common issue with HOX, I had the same problem, had to send it to be repaired.
Squeeze hard were the front camera is - if the signal gets better, you have to send it in to repair.

OH SNAP. T.T It worked. What should I do? I don't have warranty for my phone..
Check out some youtube videos, I opened mine up and glued some foil down on the wifi copper plate, dont have a wifi problem anymore. If it plays up again ill solder wires from the plate to the pins. You choose

The obvious thing try changing your Rom. See if theres any new interference around you. Theres free software on the net like inssider that can tell you what channels other people are using. See of changing the router to 'g' helps although that should only help if your x is old and suffers from problems.
But yeah see what's around. Try changing your router channel. Try different kernels also
