It is only my mind..

I do understand that you're frustrated and trying to help others, but what about some decent pics?
Come on, were you in such a hurry that you didn't check the pics before posting them?
You may be right about the battery, but I can't tell that from the pictures.
Regards.

1200mAh well that's :banghead:

AKKU King sounds like the fake version of the REAL aftermarket AKKU.

I have a AKKU from the genuine Ebay seller and it has been a great battery. Sounds like you got ripped off big fella!

Best Battery for prophet

Looks like my main battery for O2 XDA NEO is dying, maybe WM6 is eating more of my battery power. Now I want to get a replacement battery. Besides the factory type isnt there a newer version and holds more charge too? Not sure about reliability, if anyone can share some of their experinces will be great.

Batteries with Extanded Covers ... THEY SUCKS!
The Cover is crap!
The 1800mAh isnt easy to find ... i think its the best Batterie in the moment. If HTC make a extanded batterie kit ... buy it! I have a Startrek with new Coverer and the Quality is very high!
Do you have a link or a pic of the battery? why the extanded covers sucks can you explain that?

you destroy your phone's beauty and also many times the covers are not exactly the same color but enough in order to see the differece also many times they dont completly fit
true ... true
My friends and I are using the 1800mAh batteries from this seller http://search.stores.ebay.com.au/SO...dgetsQQfsooZ2QQfsopZ2QQsaselZ30323434QQsofpZ0
Comparing to my one year old 1200mAh original battery the results were obvious. I could get more than 90 hours of standby with a few mins of call each day. Something I couldn't have thought of with a PocketPC phone.
It's been about 5 months since my purchase, the battery is still good. I heard from others that non-genuine battery tend to have shortened lifespan in just a few months.
Only about 3 to 5 grams heavier and 1mm thicker (which leaves no space between the back cover and the battery) if you do notice these minute differences. It's crucial that the battery won't make your Prophet any thicker!
My only complain was, if you asked, that it took almost a week for the delivery. Otherwise I'm happy with it.

Maybe WM6 has some bug that is draining your battery so much. I have 1200mA battery and it works 4-5 days before recharging.
I don't know, but the best one out there is 1300 i find on eBay... or does Battery for Dopod 818 fit?
Maybe an reply in a old topic but

only $5 with free shipping world wide
maybe 2400
ebay
Th 2400 is one with a modded case.
Just ordered 2 battery's @t dealextreme
just took delivery of one of the dealextreme batteries, put it in and no sign that it is charging - battery monitor says "unknown", no orange light or % charge shown. Is it dud or do I have to wait a few hours......?
update, I have 2 of these 1800mah batteries and each behaving same - they don't appear to be charging. Any wise words?
@roughneck57 : sorry to hear.. especially after purchasing 2. does the battery heat up at all?
i ordered one.. and i'm still waiting for it to arrive. now i'm worried.
have you contacted extremedeals, how are they handling it ?
best of wishes,
~ truffles
so far, can't complain as they appear to be sending replacements - and i asked them to check before sending - see below second email I have received regarding the matter:
Thank you for contacting DealExtreme.com Customer Support.

forgot to say, battery is not heating up at all - I left it on charge for 3 or 4 hours last night and nothing - however, residual charge is actually powering the PDA so there is life in there. Must be the chip that reports on battery condition and charge etc.
Also, I have tried both in 3 different PDA (m600's) and same problem. One phone has an 1800mah battery purchased from ebay and that looks exactly the same but works fine - so it's not as if the PDA can't handle non-standard size.
Hope this helps.

They just shipped my 3600 MaH!

I can't wait!
post pics of it after you get it.
If I don't have midterms by then, I will post pictures of the battery with the Xperia X1's 3 MP camera. I will also show if they have fixed the Sony Errison [sic] typo.
However, I will have to use my Samsung SCH-i760's crappy 1 MP camera to take a picture of the battery with the X1.
will you also be posting how much longer it'll last when doing certain tasks? i was considering on buying a new battery as well.
I'm not going to drain the battery with non stop activity. I'll just only show you how long it feels to last relative to the smaller battery.
are there any news?

No news yet, but I don't have a good quality camera to take a picture of the battery inside my Xperia.
cant you get decent camera from friends or family for 10 min?
I don't have any close relatives or friends here who have good cameras. I have a room mate I might have to ask him. Has anyone got there's yet?
Could you take closeup pictures of the battery and cover using the Xperia camera? It should be better than the stock picture
Yes, please give me as many suggestions as possible.
he he , so u had your 3600mAh already ? what happenned with the original battery ?
Just insert the original , and take pic by ur X1 , lol .
Or is this just a joke ? ^^
3600mah battery means it's a lot thicker and requires a new door. Folks want to see how much fatter it'll get.

I just got it, I will give you an unboxing review on this thing on another new topic...
I will post this WHEN I HAVE TIME.
I have to write a critical analysis for school.
Yes I just received mine as well... together with a warning sticker that says that this will not be properly tracked by the firmware, as it is set to report the 1500MAh and not the 3600MAh capacity....
This sucker's big... I mean BIG... we'll see if it's worth the extra hassle and the new cases that you'd have to spring while using it...
anyone took pics of xperia and 3600mAh battery???

The only extended batteries I know of so far are from Mugen Power. They just released a 1600mah (no new backdoor needed) and a 3200mah (new backdoor, adds a full INCH to the phone...looks like a brick and is $99). I don't think either is a very good option personally as they are expensive and the big one just kills the aeshetics of the phone.
EDIT: FIRST time I'm seeing the 2400mah battery linked in the post above. Does it work? How big is it? Anyone ordered it?
EDIT 2: I also found ANOTHER extended battery. Not yet out so this auction is for a waiting list + coupon off. But its a 2800mah with a door for $36 without the coupon. Found here
Will it be possible to find a higher capacity battery in the same size as the current battery?
Also, anyone know where to find a 1500mA usb charger?
1. Look at my post above.
2. I bought such a charger off of amazon already. Works great. Google it.
3. I just found a very decent 2800mah battery. needs a new back cover but its not TOO huge. See here

What terms did you search? I found car chargers that high, but no usb wall adapters?
I was hoping for a 2000mah or so battery that was the same size as the 1600 we have now. Wishful thinking?
I'm waiting to see what the back looks like on that ebay auction. I don't mind a thicker back, but I don't like to have a rectangular shape protruding from the back of my phone.
same i'll only buy batteries that fits inside the original compartment
don't want to use any big fat backcover

Ebay 3500 mah

Yep, my phone is melted down. Totaly busted. Went red, then melted. Really ****ing awesome.
Got a picture?
That happened to a friend of mine... Have you got pictures?
Lol, well. Let's put it this way, my picture taking device is now debris. I'll try and take a picture with a friends camera.
I only have 2000 mAh and my phone lasts for 2 days with moderate use running on stock is it just an average?
Wow that sucks. Any idea what brand or was it a non-brand item? If you have any details maybe post them so people stay away
wow, This was an original bettery?
Man that sucks, please link to the item and some picture would be nice, so nobody else`s phone suffers the same fate
is it this battery?
Thats why you shouldn't skimp out when it comes to batteries.

I have the same battery, but I'm using it rarely, the batterylife is not better than the original, and it will not fit my phone holder in the car .
But you get a better grip on the phone with that backcover.

Cant post pictures yet, nor can post links, my friend is coming home tonight to take pictures for insurance purposes. I'll post them tonight or tomorow morning, and yes, sammyx had the very same picture the eBay battery had for image, and it is the very battery that melted my phone. 3500mah!
BTW, the acid that came out of the battery burned my floor and my cloths!
Edit: Not only my battery, but my cell phone is melted also!

the battery you have in that picture is the exact same one ive had in the past, i never experienced any issues other than after approx 75 charges the battery was down to around 75% capacity, i agree with thewizard you get a much better grip with it on. it could just have been a random faulty battery but it definitely sucks that it screwed the phone up. Ive never come across a perfect solution for upgraded batteries, i went from the above mentioned to the gold 2000 mah battery and to be honest was no better than the original but cost me £10 to find out lol
if anyone knows of any better alternatives be sure to give me a shout

Yeah the OFFICIAL 2000mah battery from Samsung
Either get(or should have gotten) the anker battery or the mugen 3600 battery. When it comes to a £500 device, then spending £10 or £70 is more than suitable.
Have a good day.
PS: Really sorry about your device..
i was so close to buying this batter just now
thanks for the heads up
and im sorry for your loss
Av been using the anker one that comes with the charger so far so good.
iv been using the 3500battery for a few weeks now in some extreme conditions and haven't had any problems.
Im feeling a bit worried now took me a while to save up for my s2.
Never buy these cheap battery's..only buy from mugen seido or anker all others are junk and have much less capacity then advertised

2900 mah batteries?

Unfortunately due to my new status I'm unable to post links. However if you google "2900 mah battery Samsung galaxy s iii " the product should come right up. Any chance this battery could be real? In the probable scenario that it's fake, can anybody recommend an extended battery for me that doesn't require a separate door?
Smells like BS

Not bad, but not great either
I have a couple of these batteries.
The Good: They're cheap and they work just fine.
The Bad: In my opinion they are a result of "creative labeling"; they last about the same as the stock battery are NOT 2900mAh.
The Ugly: When charging in a powered-down phone overnight, they never fully charge (the light on the phone never turns green). I have advised the seller about this, and they are sending me a replacement; I do not have high hopes for it.
