I'm full of great idea's, but don't have the time to create them or learn the coding to create them. If you want to make one of my ideas a reality just message me and I will give you my idea as specific as possible.
ideas:
-launcher/lock screen
-line rider type game where you control the character
-2d fighting game like art of fighting for the SNES
-multiplayer fps where you create your own map with a creative mode (minecraft style)
-roller coaster tycoon style game
-get phone out of sleep mode
-many more!
Just message me which idea you want info on and I'll tell you!

Compile the ROM (if it has a repo) and cherry pick PA Pref's.

Whatever that means lol. ^

All of it? Do you understand Linux/Debian coding at all? People build ROM's by entering commands on Linux. Compiling means to 'make' the ROM out of its sources from a certain source location (the repo). You can also take (pull in Linux terms) stuff from other repo's and add them to your repo.

I don't know how to do that and I want to get paranoid android preferences apk to work in Sons of Android by deviant development

Pa prefs is just the settings app. There are other files built into the pa ROM that allows it to work. What android88 is trying to tell you is that someone has to build it into the ROM. You can not add it to one already installed, and it is not a drag and drop affair.
Maybe ask ptmr nicely? Or switch to something that includes it?

Speaking of workarounds, what did you want out of the PA prefs? if it's dpi/workspace changes, you can do it on any rom with the Xposed framework as long as you have root.
Setup is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2072081

So? If you want just that, then it doesn't make a difference. You still have to cherry pick the full PA Pref's.

create custom homescreen shortcuts from emu/roms

is there a way to create custom shortcuts from say a SNES rom or a ps1 iso to have it on the homescreen and start within its appropriate emulator?
i am probably answering myself here by thinking it has to be built into the emulator, but did know if there was a way to do this.
was just thinking how nice it would be to have an icon on the screen an SNES game's boxart on my home screen and when tapped it started the game.
anyone know of a possibility with this... was also thinking of then having these shortcuts editted to show up in the play games lanucher... (that i know is just having the apk editted)
Some emulators do that, SNESoid as an example. I have Tetris Attack and Super Mario World sortcuts on my homescreen. But I saw no way of changing the icon.
Maybe something you could do with tasker and desktop visualizer.

-When switching from upside down view to face up view it tends to lag a bit
-opening the play store can sometimes cause a lag
-whatever else you guys find!

I would like to report a reccuring bug in the Smart Launcher. Basically, it resets every time the phone is turned off or placed in a ultra power saving mode (Samsung Galaxy s5). The restore function does not work (for multiple backups i saved), and has forced me to restore icons and gestures over and over again. Im in love with it otherwise, and I hope it can be solved

[Q] Needing Help.

Does anyone know why the stock rom for the t989 power menu won't show up when I try to reboot phone. It just shuts off completely without asking what I would like to do when you press the power button.
Because it's stock. It doesn't have that feature yet.

no hee if talking about why it didn't display at all, not why it doesn't have the extended options.
I ran across this using the stock ROM when I first got my second replacement T989. Only way to fix is to reflash the ROM.
If your phone is rooted easy enough just be sure to wipe system data and both cache and dalvick cache.
If not rooted look for a full download of newest install (usually install Samsung kies on a computer, run it, and in tools menu with phone connected and drivers installed it has an option to do a full or clean flash of newest ROM version.
Stock ROM has a power menu, but only has like power off and airplane mode, it is different than custom ROMs that include restart to recovery and any other custom options the developers build in.

Dual analog sticks on N64 First Person Shooters (Goldeneye, PerfectDark)

Someone asked about this in the GeForce forums. Since I did the write up, I figured I would post it here if anyone cared.
Games like Goldeneye and Perfect Dark can be tailored to work as well as well as current first person shooters with the latest Mupen64plusAE. I personally use the nightly builds found here http://www.paulscode.com/source/Mupen64Plus-AE/AutoBuilds/
What you need to do is click the menu icon in the top left corner. First, go into settings. Check the box under input that says "share controller". From there, go into profiles>controller profiles. Tap on "shield" and click copy. Name the new profile something like 2ndConFPS, (for 2nd controller first person shooter), or even just Shield2 to make it easy if you aren't using a keyboard.
Go down and choose that new profile and click "edit" then edit the controls for analog stick and assign each direction to the RIGHT analog on the controller. Not the left, because that's already mapped to the first player controller. Map the RIGHT trigger to Z.
Now you are ready to assign the controllers as part of an in-game profile specifically for GoldenEye (or Perfect Dark, etc). Click on GoldenEye from the game launcher menu. The menu will come in from the left that says "Resume" "Restart" and "Settings". Click settings, and choose controller 2 profile. Controller 1 should already be defaulted to Shield. If not set it as Shield. Then click controller 2 profile and set it as 2ndConFPS or Shield2, or whatever you named it.
From there, start the game and the rest is done from the menus of the actual rom. Just choose from one of the 2 controller styles. Galore and Goodhead are the best (insert dirty joke here). One is inverted, the other isn't.
P.S. Many of the modern first person shooters have the move/strafe control on the left, with look/turn on the right. To do that, you can do one of two things. First just switch the player one and two profiles. So for example, the profile that uses the right analog and right trigger, make that the profile for player one, then do the standard profile as player two. Or you can make a 3rd profile and assign the second and third, etc. Let me know if you have questions.
