JustReader:A very good google reader for NOOK2 - Nook Touch Android Development

I have use JustRreader for a few days on my NT. I think it's the best google reader for NT with offline function, one-tape for next page, and full article (include pictures) download.

the best rss reader

im trying out pocket rss 2.0. i have never used a rss reader before, this one seems ok but is a little difficult to manage, trying to find new content from different sites is hard. i assume if you have a desk top rss reader you just drag and drop the content you want. but on the pocket rss you need to manually add it.
also i would like to limit the number of articles as i dont want to get a large bill from o2 for gprs use. i know that you can activesync but i dont log onto my home pc until the end of the day so for a current events this is no good for me.
is there a beter pocket rss reader with a nice today screen plug-in??
well?
I use Egress.

Its $10 but well worth it IMHO.
I used pocket rss but the updates seemed slow. At $5 it was a good price.
I use Newsbreak and i really like it very easy to search and add new channels.

I use PocketFeed, it's free and link with your pIE. No embedded browser which is an advantage when you configure your pIE with a "one Column" layout.

RSS reader

not of a fan of Android NEWS
What other (free or paid) would you recommend?
thanks
I agree.
I'm using BeyondPod as I can sync it with Google Reader so it makes managing them a lot easier. The name comes from the fact that it also automatically downloads podcasts that are part of the RSS feeds you are subscribed to.
now if I can find a way to export my RSS links from SPB insight/NEWS to a new RSS app for Android.
Stupid SPB software allows you to import through OPML but not export.
Do I have to manually enter 25 RSS links ???
If you're using Google Reader you should take a look to NewsRob, it's great!
NewsRoom works well.
FeedR is working well for me, syncs with google reader well
I think the best one for use with Google Reader is NewsRob.
If you don't use Google Reader, I don't know...
Found FeedR just about now and sticking with it
Newsrob is what I use

If you're not a Google Reader user then NewsRoom is fantastic (hoping for Google Reader sync soon).
I gave up on RSS for Android until I came across NewsRoom... Wow! Excellent app.

+1 for NewsRob, has pretty much all the features you'd want (even in the free version!)

Offline ebook reader

Hi guys.
Do you know an app (to read ebooks) which has an offline english dictionary integrated ?
Question number two: Can I send my Google books to this application, so I can read them with the offline translation ?
I've tried to download my books on .acsm format and open them with Adobe Digital Editions but this way doesn't work, any suggest ? :victory:
Thanks a lot.
See you.
A little up

Moon Reader has the ability to use an offline dictionary (I haven't tried it, so I can't tell you how to set it up), I don't think it can access Google Books directly, it favours epub files. I usually use Calibre (Windows PC app) to convert books to epub, it works great for me.
I would say give it a try, there's not too much to lose, other than time!

I personally know of NO ebook reader that will translate a book in real time, but perhaps they exist.
As for dictionary, yes, many ereaders can us an offline dictionary, including Fabrik, FBReader, etc. But I don't think that's what you're asking for, or your statements are conflicting.

Fabrik seems to use my offline dictionaries automatically, it's what I was looking for.
Thanks a lot.

[Q] Trouble to import ebooks to aldiko ebook reader

I purchased Aldiko pro from the store, but it has trouble to import downloaded ebooks from the store (from my notebook). I transfer the files into my tablet, but when I try to import them, it tells me that my device is not authorized yet.
I did a google research and I found out that I may try to disable the automatic time update but I cant find this option in the date and time settings!
My device is rooted, I dont know what to do.
Hopefully I won't get in trouble for suggesting this, because *technically* I wouldn't really consider it pirating because you already own the titles. One thing you could do is download ePub files for those books from an "alternative" location, and import them via the Aldiko file manager. Might be a little more work, but if you can't fix your issue, it's a viable solution.
