Here a few apps that aren't really advertised that might be of use or interesting to some people.
LG Cloud seems to be LG's version of iCloud and can sync between your phone, PC and other compatible devices. If you sign up they are giving 50gb backup storage too.

LG Smart world. It is LG's marketplace. There are a lot of apps in there that are not in the app store + some paid apps for free and some special dual screen apps that are for optimus G only.

Reco Voco VX is an app in LG Smart world from LG and a third party company. It allows you to strip vocals from a song and create an instrumental of the song all from your phone.

Also I'm the LG Smart world there is a special optimus only dual screen version of Anamoly Warzone Earth HD which is normally $3.99 for FREE. And there are a few other games in the app store.

Yup, they worked, may want to post them in the AT&T section as well.
Got Smartworld installed, took a few times to get it to let me log in, but I got it and have installed Anomaly Earth and Rooms.

Its a direct reliable mirror and not all phones will have them in the market due to regional and device differences. If you want to search elsewhere and download them go for it.

As far as I know, the Smartshare app that should have come stock on the OG (on the AT&T one anyways) should work with with any DNLA certified device. Just used it last night to stream a movie from my phone to a Samsung Bluray player.
Not sure if that is what you wanted.

No, I do use it to stream content to my PS3 to watch videos and what not, but I'm looking for a way to mirror my screen onto a display, albiet through my PC or Raspberry PI, or PS3

Nice app I used it but it's a hit or miss with this app. It either doesn't uninstall what I wanted and uninstalls another app or just doesn't work.

It says in the OP that this tool is to install/remove certain samsung apps, different GApps themes and versions.
It's a necessity to those who want certain pre-installed apps that can't get them through ROMs.

To help improve the quality of both the development and general sections, I decided to have this thread moved to the general section.
Just giving you a heads up in case you need to find it.

Lock screen is amazing, and I can finally use it! :laugh:

The best lockscreen app so far..realy fast and smooth. but enabling ripple effect gives me force close. only light effect works. M running it on Galaxy mini. Rest of the settings works fine. :good:

Can some one who own a Galaxy a5 (2017) tell me if it support screen mirror or not. I didn't see any app relate to that. I own a nexus 5x right now and the only reason im buying a samsung device is for screen mirror it on my samsung tv.
If it does; please tell me how and send a screenshot of it .

I don't know about a5 2015 . But as far as i know galaxy a5 2016 doesn't support screen mirror. They even mention it in samasung website here

It seems to support it as there is a toggle called 'Smart View' to cast to a larger screen but I haven't tested it.

No it will work on any tv that's support it

i tested my samsung tv screen mirror with other samsung phone which support screen mirroring and it work fine . I hope it works with this phone too.

Both A5 2016 and A5 2017 does support screen mirroring. Simply drop the upper menu down ( where you can see your WiFi and other main functions ) and drop a second time to see more functions. You should see a smart view option. Turn it on. You may also drag it next to the top WiFi on-off option if you use it often. I use a 4500 Samsung TV to mirror my phone. No apps required. Hope it helps!

It works also with LG 42LA860V-ZA! - tested now.

For me Galaxy S7 works fine with miracast mirroring to a panasonic tv. A5 2017 does work but there are terrible screen artifacts as well audio becomes out of sync. I just updated to Oreo and there is no improvement.

Hello, it does support screen mirroring. I've tested it on multiple Samsung smart TVs. The feature is called Smart View and it can also connect to a Chromecast device if you have one.
I'll update my answer with a few screenshots.

There is no stand alone *original* app of Prime Video for Fire TV, because that is integrated in the launcher! So you can't compare that

Compatibility with Mi Box 3
Hey everyone
I've tried many APKs with my Mi Box 3 and I've faced some or the other problems. In one version I've faced audio jitters. In some other version I witnessed frame rate loss.
One of my friends told me that the APK ported from Nvidia Shield works perfect on Mi Box 3 but he has shared a version which is too old (it has old Amazon Video logos)
Can anyone share the latest version of Amazon Prime Video apk from Nvidia Shield or any other latest version apk which works perfect on Mi TV Box 3 (Android O 8.0.0)

Need help installing this on my android tv Leeco x55. No matter what I install it goes black and back to home screen on tv. Also, installed prime launcher and it installed the white instant video logo. I saw the movie lists for a brief sec before it says I must update it takes me to the google play store page withe prime video BLUE logo.
