-decompile framework-res.apk
-open styles.xml in res/values
-and find theme.black and replace that with this:

-Then search
@drawable/... bla bla
-replace whatever image name after @drawable/ to background
-place a transparent png background in drawable/ldpi
get the png here https://www.dropbox.com/s/9w1p3e492g7v5ih/background.png?m

Is there any possible way to get transparent status bar on GioPRO v1.6? When I was trying to find anything, always it was for CM. But I like GioPRO status bar UI (with battery percentages) and I wanna keep that, but wanna it transparent.
Btw I'm using ADW launcher (the next thing I want to keep). Is there problem with it?

Open the systemui.apk from the Theme with winrar, go to the folder res/value and extract the Status_bar.xml, now copy it to your systemui... Thats it!
Edit: ehm... res/layout, sorry
Quick question: is there any modification or ROM that allows you to change the Holo theme from black to white? I'm just getting tired of the black. Or is that an impossible request?

Try any launcher and set the NAV bar color to white. Profit.. :good:
Even in crDroid there is a feature to do this. Which rom you are using? check in settings for the same..
Press thanks If I helped you.

like changing systemui.apk but with other roms systemui.apk but with Navigation Bar
Are you referring to change *.png and *.9.png around some apps at the /system/app/ folder? It's possible, best if you use Gimp or Photoshop. And you will probably need a APK Kitchen app (sadly forgot the name)
