I would like to introduce something I have been playing with for awhile now. This is Project E.L.E. What I wanted was a clean and fast ROM with just the right feature set, nothing over the top, just a well rounded option. So here is a multiple source blend of what I consider useful options. I plan on continuing to add, tweak, as I work through the progression of Android Development. Feel free to make some suggestions on features or anything else and if it sounds interesting and my skill set allows it I will try to add. Here is a Extinction Level Event. I hope you enjoy.

But This setting is already at Off but if I plug the phone, the charging LED come on. (Now at constant green color at 93%). I known in other rCM/AOSP rom there is a setting for the color when the batteyr is low, medium or high %. In this setting you can turn on or off the led.
Also, not a big thing, but WMA song not play in my Mort Player (work in standard rom). So can we install a wma library ? (I known I can install another player but is not the question )
Thanks again !
Is there any transparency options for status bar?
is there a rom that looks this sexy but has the Spen features?? this is exactly what im LOOKING for, but i just want to be able to pull out the pen and have the notepad pop up!! this is sexy!

30 minutes with the rom and this is what I have to report so far:
1. Very snappy.
2. Original Rom settings, very polished!
3. Better clock widget.
Bugs:
1. Play Video seems to crash every time.
seems different from other ROMs, gonna flash it now
I'd love the option to be able to reorder the navbar buttons - is this possible?
This is gonna sound Mega noob... but I really want to download this, only thing I need to know is what is the difference between the toro and maguro download links? Both are 1.01?

Apologies. About ten second before you wrote this I figured it out as I swore I had seen it somewhere.
Looking forward to trying this
Great ROM. Has the necessary customization (for me) available, smooth, well laid out, obviously a lot of work went into this. One thing I do typically miss when I try out other ROMs however are Quiet Hours +/- Profiles.
Quality ROM, and a more than worthy alternative for fine ROM connoisseurs.
Voltage Control dont work for me!

is there a way to get rid of the startup music?
I am using this ROM since 1.1
It is free of bugs, very fast and the best for me is, that it is very near to stock. No masses of unneeded features/options added.
Just what you really need from a ROM, everything else might be changed by apps or other packages.

This ROM wouldnt be possible without TeamDirt and especially @Mazda @shalkith and @mazwoz these guys have put an enormous amount of work in developing this rom and making it all that it is thanks guys
This ROM is based on the Android Open Kang Project (AOKP). The idea to start a ROM based off AOKP with added features for us was started out of curiosity and boredom. We started compiling ROMs for personal use and later started sharing them. After sharing it with a few people, we decided to take it a step further and fine tune the way we do things. Since then, is been nothing but fun and a true learning experience for all of us involved. We've received high praise from not only users but fellow developers of other ROMs that enjoy seeing things done the right way. Our 4.2.2 version made it onto various devices to include the HTC One, Galaxy Nexus, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO LTE, Nexus 4 and some other devices. We hope to do the same with our 4.3 version.
"Give credit and thanks where is due!" That's something that has fuel the way we do things! With that said, we would like to go ahead and credit those individuals and groups that have made this ROM possible with their original code and contributions to the Android community.....
| AOKP / Team Kang | CyanogenMod | Paranoidandroid | Preludedrew | JMZtaylor | iBlowpot |ChaOS Team | Liquidsmooth |
| CarbonROM | Rohan32 | LorDClockaN | Dastin1015 | Bajee11 | SlimROMs | Daxxmax | Beerbong | Sammyycakes | Team BAMF |
Believe it or not, we are human and we do forget things. If we have left someone out of the credit/thanks list, just PM us and we'll gladly add on to the list.

A. Make sure you did a clean install
B. try to track down the issue on your end make sure its not restored apps or an app that you installed thats not playing nice with the ROM
C. get me a logcat of the issues, in other words help me help you
*** If you find a bug, please provide as much info as possible and/or a logcat

So far it doesn't look like this ROM plays nice with the lz kennel lots of ui crashes...
Sent from my SGH-I577 using xda premium
OK not the kernel. Don't change the screen density with hybrid settings that seems to be the culprit
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
Everytime I flash a rom and get it all set up, you either update one I love or come out with a new one and that's pretty awesome. You're a flashaholic's dream.

Did you include the beerbong properties.conf??
Reason I'm asking is because you shouldn't be getting any UI crashes from the hybrid engine....
If so, was it HDPI or XHDPI?
Yes I did include it I have no sound either but I know why on that..

yea everything with the rom is awesome but im not getting any sounds either. I tried to change them and its like its playing so quietly. If you hold your phone to your ear you can hear it but its super quiet.
I'm running another build right now that should fix the sound and hopefully the ui crashes

Your a freakin machine man!!!!! I wish I could build a rom like you!!!! Thanks for everything you do for our phones!

The ChameleonOS team is proud to present to you our latest addition to the growing list of features. Please give a warm welcome to the new active display feature. With active display your device can turn on when new notifications arrive and display that information to you on the screen. There is no need to turn your device on every time you hear that distinctive notification sound. Your notifications are right where you need them without all the clutter and free from other distractions. If your device has a proximity sensor, which most touch screen phones have, you are in luck. Active display will not turn on if it detects something close to this sensor. So if you have your phone stashed away in your pocket or bag, don't worry, it won't turn the display on and waste your battery. And as an added bonus we've included an option to turn on pocket mode. When this is enabled active display will turn on your screen and display your current notifications instantly, provided you have any pending notifications.
Features
Instantly turns the device screen on and displays notifications as they arrive
Up to 8 notifications displayed in a horizontal strip that can be viewed by touching the notification icon
Short notification description can be displayed around the outside of the center ring
Touch the center ring notification to view the full notification
Unlock the device, open the app for the current notification or dismiss the current notification
Set a re-display time to have active display remind you of your pending notifications
Adjustable brightness level for when active display turns the screen on
Pocket mode which allows active display to turn on once you remove the device from your pocket or bag
