Here is my "Setcpu" setting what is yours. Looking for tips and help still new with ovecloacking.

I know it creates problems with CM9. Not sure if it also applies to other ICS builds or leaks.

Stay away from set cpu on ICS it freezes phones well at least mine

This is 4hours later little use while at work

Ya I was using setcpu on stock-rooted EL29. I also found out ICS has a feature that works like setcpu, so ya don't use it on ICS cause it will bugout and crash.
Helpful tip --
If you are looking for another app that save up little more battery life you could check out "JuiceDefender"

What is the best govenor to set if you're trying to save the most battery life?
I'm confused between the conservative and ondemand. What are their differences?

Use conservative. It scales up the CPU slower, so you'll end up saving more battery in the long run. I've only noticed very minimal lag between the two.

Anyone else have good advice for it?

Set CPU governor to performance. Turn on all your radios and set brightness to 100%. Stream high def YouTube videos over 4g network. Use YouTube modded HD apk for faster battery rapeage.

High brightness, turn up min cpu clock, run apps that are hd and consume data (maybe a few at once)
Can I just ask why? Are you trying to benchmark ROMs or something (curious )
Oh, turn on gps, blue tooth and wifi making sure they are constantly scanning too

I have a similar question, but I'm looking for a jelly bean ROM that can deep sleep.. it seems the ones I've tried are unable to do it.

I've heard about slim bean rom 3.0 that can deep sleep. It does on mine

[Q] 4g not showing on status bar

all the roms ive flashed never show 4g, is there any particular reason? all and any help is appreciated. thnx in advance

Anything but a tmo base rom will show a h instead because tmo doesn't have real 4g lte and that's what the 4g stands for....the h is tmo 4g...

It always shows "3g "when idle. As soon as you need it, the 4g radio kicks on. Power conservation I think. I was freaked out at first also, but it works great. And battery life on cm10 with hotcakes kernel is fantastic.

Dude...that is a good antutu score. Best I got @1.7 was and GPU script was 8600. What tweaks and kernel are you running? What governors?
I'm also running v6 script and I never got close to that score.

Hello! I just want to know. When im playing music with screen off, the processor min freq stay at 400? With peqasus gov. Is any way to set it to 200 for better battery life?

If your phone is rooted use SETCPU app to set the cpu on profiles settings..

Im using cm10 but the issue is with peqasus gov. If i use ondeman the issue is gone

So why not use on-demand? Peqasus was designed for TW anyway.

Scheduler and Governors

Well guys I haven't seen anything related to this around the GS3 forums.
So, what schedulers and Governors do you use?
I seek performance with the best battery life so I use Interactive with deadline even though it kills my battery. Thinking about changing.

3 hours screen time, and over 2 hours streaming music over Bluetooth. Really good battery indeed.

My last full cycle with it I got 5 hours screen time with an hour of listening to music and I downloaded about 10 mixtapes so that came to about 270 songs. Insane battery life

In using liquid smooth stable build with ktoons kernel. Ktoonservative as my gov and row as the I/o

Unfortunately the kernel has lock ups with the set up that I had (k-serv/cfq) but its still fast as hell with row.
