Yup, it's not there.
Problem with recovery being able to mount the partitions.
It won't mount anything, data, system, cache, internal or external sdcards
I've read post from a handful of people who, like myself, have gotten their phone very recently. All experiencing the same problem.
I've gotten root by flashing a stock rom thru ODIN with it already installed but I'm dying for my Vanilla Android, touchwiz is making me sick :crying:

There are some pre-rooted stock roms you can flash in Odin but that doesn't fix recovery. So if you can live with Touchwiz I'd check those out.

I believe you meant www.rwilco12.com.
I am also having a problem with all CWM versions I've tried on my two 3-day old Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 phones. It doesn't matter which recovery (or version) I flash, nothing mounts so you cannot see the internal or external SD, cannot flash anything, cannot wipe anything, etc. This seems to be a problem with very new S3's with all custom recoveries.

That's an older version. You need the newest one, which is 5.8.4.7. Download the img file from the website and flash through android emulator.
Downloads: http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager
How to install through Android Emulator on the device: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1739426
scroll down to the "Third, alternate if unfamiliar with adb commands" option and follow directions.
Beware that once you install this version of CWM, your previous nandroid backups will not work, as they will get md5 mismatch. If you want to go back to the older version of CWM, simply use the method you used when you first flashed CWM (via Odin). I experienced the same thing, so I had to do some research before I flashed CM10. Hope that helped!

No, ROM Manager is an app, while CWM is a recovery.
You can install the app called ROM Manager and within it you'll find the option to flash the latest CWM recovery.

All it takes to install cwm is a simple dd command with root access. This is what ROM manager does for you. Or you can install it manually using terminal editor
Don't know of I can or not but. I wanted to be certain. Also which is more stable cwm, or twrp?
Ive always used cwm but I read that twrp fixes emulated SD card issues???.

AFAIK the clockwork doesn't depend on whether you are on aosp or else.
I guess the stability is about the same but I'd prefer TWRP because it's more userfriendly and has more features.
And as I never had emulated sdcard issues, i can't tell u anything about that.

Sent from my SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
Did you flash an at&t rom? That's the main reason it'd do that to you. Check your build prop for i747 and d2att. Google how to do that if you aren't sure. Your SIG shows the use of it so I'm guessing you did.

I used CWM for years and started having problems with it when I started flashing 4.2. CWM had some problems flashing the roms correctly and with the multiple profile storage and TWRP was a little ahead of them when it came to fixing those problems. So I jumped to TWRP and never looked back. I prefer it for serveral reasons. The interface is more friendly, backing up and restoring roms are a bit faster and the overall fetures will keep me with TWRP.
Since updating to latest recovery it can't mount or access external SD. There's no problem with my card but touch recovery, nothing can access it...

This is the Sprint section correct? Sprint phones are US variants right? My sig says I support the S3 and Galaxy Nexus right? Your signature says SPH-L710 right? Too many rights for it to be wrong.
If you sprint phone is not one of the new ones with the issue mounting storage then yes this will work for you. This updates your bootloader, fimware/modem to the latest md4 updates.

You downloaded that file right? When you boot into recovery click on flash zip from internal storage that's where it should be. Then look in the download folder.
When you download files you should be able to choose the download path, so that you know exactly where it's going.
I download everything to my external storage (sd card) then using root explorer I move it to my file system which I set up, roms, kernels, apps, mods, so on....

That's because you have flashed a 4.2 rom and your internal storage has moved to a different location. It's there you just need to find the correct path.
