Hi,
I have been looking all around the site as well as as many pages of google as I can stand to read and I cannot find exactly what I am looking for. I currently have a Galaxy Note II i317m from Bell, and I am looking for either a Stock or Custom ROM (Preferably Stock) that is DeOdexed. If anyone can find me one, make me one or put me in the correct section / direction that help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks!
This just makes me sad.

Well... You done come to the wrong neighborhood... This neck of tha woods is where us Sprint folk mosey about, we don't take to kindly to Bell folk snooping around and asking questions, especially in the wrong forum in the wrong sub forum. Please find your device-specific forum and ask there. This forum Is solely for the sprint note 2 we can't help you. See ya

Hi,
Love XDA, but can we get a specific forum for Telus T989 users? There are two versions of this phone out to the masses and it's getting confusing for roots, roms and other with only a T-Mobile forum.
If others agree, please voice your support for this idea.
Thanks,
Dennis

AllGamer has already stated beforehand that because the hardware is exactly the same, there is not much point in opening another forum for the Telus variant. Rooting is exactly the same, except for getting into Download Mode and ROMs work on both phones.
It's just as if you would make a separate forum for each Motorola Atrix or Galaxy Nexus.
eggxactly!
my bad, u may delete this thread
Hi,
Got my N7100 and as soon as I got it, flashed it to Wanamlite 2.0. For some reason, I'm not getting the best battery life, so, just to compare, I want to flash to absolute stock and run it for a couple of day.
However, can't actually find any rom specific for US operators. Sam mobile has versions for the entire planet, but the US doesn't appear there (I suppose cos the US has carrier specific models). I downloaded Kies in the hope of downloading the firmware from there; but got a msg saying my device is modifiedand wouldn't download.
So, the question is, from the SamMobile website, which specific CSC version would be better for AT&T USA, or, it doesn't really matter, and I should just download the one most recently released?.
Thanks.
Riz
Wrong forum dude, this goes in Q&A
I use Omega ROM. Works fine for me on ATT but then so did stock. Download Fast Dormancy I9300 and turn off Dormancy.
Side note: there is also an AT&T specific forum section for the gn2

Not necessarily. There's a good amount of cross traffic. Just wanted to make sure OP knew about all resources.

Must say I'm not digging the presumption of ignorance on my part
I think I asked the question as clearly as I could for a non-native English speaker. I had done the pre-requisite searches before. Posted the question in the N7100 forum (though initially in the wrong sub-forum initially, corrected by the mods - thanks).
No amount of cross-traffic between different forums would mean an AT&T or T-Mobile rom would work on an international N7100.
The question is: "So, the question is, from the SamMobile website, which specific CSC version would be better for AT&T USA, or, it doesn't really matter, and I should just download the one most recently released?."
Again, I'm not throwing a rant, or trying to show attitude - apologies if it comes across that way.
Stupid question but i was wondering if their was a site for all mods that are capable for galaxy s3 att.
thanks alot for your answers have a good day
you're on it... if you want a list of all the mods available and links to them, sorry, you gotta do some work if you want to mod your phone and keep it from being a paperweight.
protip: searching and reading helps a lot!

Are you looking for phsyical mod to the phone??? If so im not sure how many of those you will really find i have not seen a whole lot. But you are on the right website to mod the way the phone functions in general. I suggest going to the general forum and readying the stickies there about rooting and so on. Also any questions you may have the search bar at the top and google are you friends. Good luck!
Hello. I am almost new to rooting and roming phones. I had my touch lg tmobile phone that I messed around with before but still a noob:laugh: Anyway can someone hold my hand and tell me the proper way to root our Galaxy s3's and also what are some good roms. I have use CM before and really liked it. Also kind of confused since we got the 4.1.2 update what will work and what will not.
To sum it up.
How to root phone?
Good roms?
What too look out for?
Will it work 4.1.2
Thank you

No one is going to hold your hand here or any other place.
It looks like you actually do know a bit more than you are letting on, so why not spend a couple hours here,
do some exploration and I can guarantee that all four of your questions will be answered in great detail.
P.S. you might start off by reading the forum rules...

I understand. I am just confused as to where exactly to look/ or what to look at. There is a lot of people that use technical stuff or abbreviation here that I have no idea what it means. Also there is threads where I am confused as to if something will work on my phone or not. Hence my question for the 4.1.2 version because most I saw was done for 4.1.1.
Lazy as hell ,read on.

More like confused as hell right now. Can someone answer the root from [SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 UNIFIED TOOLKIT V7.0] Drivers, Backup, Root, Recovery + MORE [TMO] will work on 4.1.2 version of our phones i only see 4.1.1 in the options :/
My apologies in advance, I'm sure this topic has been covered, but my googlefu is just not strong enough to find what I'm looking for.
I have a rooted AT&T Galaxy S3. It's running ktoonsez's AOKP rom. Recently, I noticed the rom has not been updating. Some googling seems to indicate that an outdated bootloader is the problem. How do I upload to the latest bootloader?
Sorry again, I feel really dumb that I'm unable to find the solution for this on my own. I'm sure it's been covered before.
