[Q] WFS - improve handset sound? not music - HTC Wildfire S

Hi all,
I tried some roms but still the handset sound of my phone is too low. I can't hear person who is talking with me on phone. I have to use speaker on every call. Do you know anything flashable or installable add-on to improve or volume of handset up?
Roms that I already tried:
Cyanogen 7.2
Infrarom v0.3 (it seems to me that sound is a little higher on this)
Stock rom

[Q] Bluetooth Mic Microphone Volume Low and Quiet on HTC Desire

Hi
I have a HTC Desire and a blueparrot bluetooth headset.
Have tried a few different mods and currently running latest cyanogenmod 7 stable version.
The volume of the microphone is VERY low, so quiet that some people cannot even hear me. If I change to phone mic or speakerphone volume is absolutely fine for them.
Also if I am trying to use the bluetooth headset for voice commands, it is very lucky to get anything correct, no doubt because the volume is so low.
The headset has been tried on other (non Android) devices and works fine. I am pretty sure it is something to do with the Android OS.
I also do not recall having this problem with the stock HTC image that was on the phone, although I only know its a problem if people complain.
I notice that there is a kernel patch for HD2 versions (which I guess mine could not support being a revision 1 desire) that provides for /proc/miclevel control.
Is there any way that I can fix this? Or any roms and kernels that may have this fixed?
I also require the call recording patch in the kernel to be able to record calls without using the speakerphone, so if anyone can incorporate that into suggestions if possible too please?
Thanks for your help.
Regards
Andy

[Q] Blackout ICS Incredible v3.1.0

The ring tone from my headset is very very loud and lots of noise. Is there anybody got the same problem like me?
It cause me to remove this ROM from my device.
known problem...read the rom thred
Have been using the test version, and it has not been an issue,so it seems to have been resolved.if you are willing to be a bit more patient you will have a rom for ics that will be as good as arhd has been for gingerbread.:good:

[Q] which ROM will improve Loudspeaker?

ok so the loudspeaker is absolutely terrible.
The only reason i want to install a new ROM is to improve the loudspeaker, if its even possible.
anyone got any thoughts on this? can anyone recommend a ROM to improve the loudspeaker on the galaxy nexus?
Check here if this mod can help
you should get the phone fixed. a rom isnt going to repair or change a speaker.

[Q] Low mic volume on official nightly of cm11

When I talked to someone on phone. No matter what headphones I use. They say I sound very quiet through them and can't hear me. Any fixes?
I am in the same boat with the DU 4.3 rom. Anyone find an answer to this, could another kernel help?
Same here.
Bump, I have the same problem, mic is low for some reason and people can't hear me very well. Turning on speaker phone seems to fix it for me though. odd
low mic volume
hello there. I experience the same issue on cm11 ( same with cm10 , slimkat ) I tried the CM utility for maxim in call volume but that didn't boost the microphone.
All people complain they can barely hear what I say.
What is there to be done? I:crying:
must mention Boeffla Sound Control app again did not help and had no problem with the microphone on the 4.3 stock ROM on my S3.
Currently using, fresh install:
CM: 11-20140706-nightly-i9300
Android: 4.4.4
Baseband:i9300XXUGNA8
Kernel: 3.0.64-cm-g5e96596

I don't know if this is a general fix but I managed to solve it for the above mentioned rom.
I installed the CM10.1-10.2 vol_tweak.apk ( but this only didn't fix it on its own) and after rebooting modified HEADSET, SPEAKER, BLUETOOTH, USB/DOCK in DSP MANAGER
HEADSET:
Compression is enabled, Efect strength moderate, bass boost enabled Equalizer is enabled with vocal booster, loudness compensation is strongest, headset virtual room effect is set to large room
SPEAKER:
bass boost is on, effect strength is moderate. equalize is enabled with vocal booster.
BLUETOOTH
compression is enabled, effect is slight, bass boost is enabled, with moderate effect strength, equalizer is enabled, with vocal booster
USB/DOCK
Compression is enabled, effect is moderate, bass boost is enabled, with extreme effect strength, equalizer is enabled, with vocal booster , loudness compensation is disabled, room is set to large room.
Hope it will work for everyone with the same issue I had. If there is somebody who can better explain what the modified setting please reply
This is a known bug with all cm based 4.2 and above Roms. There is no fix for it, if there us I have yet to see or hear of it.
Theres one simple trick you can do to get the volume normal.
During your phone call press volume down then back up (just one tic) it should make the call volume much louder. It works on all cm11 based Roms.

Up until now I had no problem with the volume using the settings mentioned above. There is no need to push the volume button up&down.
